We bought 3 slices of cake, 3 large cookies, and a brownie. It was ~$32. The cake was good, but way too expensive for the tiny slivers we were given. I'd never get them again. The cookies were dry as a bone. I was considering buying 6 and I'm so glad I didn't. The brownie was your basic brownie-I wouldn't bother really. We are from out of town and I called days before going to ensure they were able to meet one of my children's dietary needs, and I called again today because I had trouble finding it. The lady seemed to have trouble telling me where it's located. They also didn't mention until we walked in that the grill closed at 2, and you can only get cold items. I would have liked to have known that beforehand because we wouldn't have gone. All in all, we wish we had gone someplace else and skipped this place. read more

Got home and I kid you not there was a single noodle in my chicken tetrazzini. Called to ask if there were noodles in it. Put on hold so she could check. Then was told yes.. I then informed her that I had just been in and I'm afraid there wasn't any in my order. She just snickered and said "thanks for letting us know". We've been long-time customers but quit going as often when they had the rude lady at the register. Went earlier this year and the rude lady wasn't there. Went this week and had a couple of younger girls and the food was off. They no longer have paninis but can still make the sandwich just not panini style. Received our order and it was a turkey and cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes and the bread was so dry it fell apart. My broccoli and cheddar soup had been in the crockpot too long and look like Jello instead of soup. We also ordered chicken tetrazzini casserole. It was like a soup. Was in town and looked up local places to eat. Stopped in here after reading reviews. It's in a small strip shopping center. Plenty of seating inside and a few small tables outside. It's is fresh and clean inside. There was not a line when we visited, so orders were brought to our table quickly. You order at the counter. They have multiple sandwich options, on fresh bread! One of us ordered the turkey club and loved it! Said the bacon was so good. One ordered the chicken Caesar, served with a warm slice of fresh white bread. I ordered the chicken tetrazzini with side salad. The best part was the side salad with fresh blue cheese dressing. It was packed full of fresh vegetables, lettuce, carrots, radishes, celery, cheese. The tetrazzini itself was cheesy, had celery, but was lacking in flavor. I would try something different next time. We got a slice of strawberry cake, Italian cream cake, and two sugar cookies. The cakes are kept in a cold cooler, they were super cold, which I usually like, but these were on the dry side. Icing was great flavor but cake itself was dry. The sugar cookies were flavorful, icing was perfect. They were cooked just right, done but not brown or overdone. They had other items you can purchase, while loaves of bread, granola, trays of cinnamon rolls. Seems like a good place for lunch, just need to find what I like. I love sugar cookies. As a child my Aunt Ellen made the best and I have always looked for some similar and I found it here. The cookie was so close to her recipe I almost cried. The reuben sandwich is out of this world delicious. The bakery counter so enticing and beautiful! The sugar cookies are my absolute favorite- My only suggestion would be to use less almond flavoring in the icing of the sugar cookies. It's a little too strong for my palate. read more

Took the Grands here to pick out dessert for later in the day. The frosted cookies, chocolate peanut butter bar, pumpkin bar, turtle cheesecake were a few of the treats we chose. Not a single bite was met with disappointment or dissatisfaction. If you're counting calories, on some strict diet, not into sweets at all, I hear their salads and sandwiches are wonderful as well. According to the Grands, chick fil a is more their taste and not as expensive. Came here for the first time with my family. Cashier who took our order very nice. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and clean, also very cozy feeling due to the decorations. When the food came, our server was very rude. We were the only dine in customers. Maybe it was because our order was large? Her name was Misty. She was very grumpy for some reason and dropped off our food like it was a chore and seemed irritated we were eating there. Very disheartening because we looked forward to liking this place. The food was mediocre. Our sandwiches were good but fries were very undercooked and soggy. Not worth the wait. The food is good but the service is so unbearably slow every single time I go it makes it not worth it. On my first trip here i met a friend for lunch. There were probably 4 other tables filled, at least 8 employees working. Her sandwich came out at least 10 mins before mine, just kinda awkward. I've been back probably 10 times since. I've ordered a simple sandwich when I'm the only one in the shop and it still takes 15 minutes... like how!???? I've tried it all folks. I've tried calling in my order, it still doesnt work. Last time I did this I walked in and walked over to the "takeout" counter to pay. The 10+ employees working helped every customer in the regular line, along with the 3 people who walked in behind me. We used to have one in Tulsa but they closed them down due to personal reason the owner was having. So, I made a drive to Enid to grab my holiday desserts for the church. I am so happy I did. I had forgotten how homemade the desserts tasted and how nice they were in this bakery. We ordered a white cake, strawberry cake , chocolate pie, pumpkin pie- should of gotten 2, 2 lemon, 4 pantry bread and a pecan lie. While all of them were yummy! The pumpkin pie was delectable. I am not a pumpkin fan nor my mom, but we both had to have a slice of pie. It's crazy how it taste like a real pumpkin. We were only going to go for Thanksgiving but we will now being going for Christmas to gather desserts. Food was good but attention to the customer was horrible!!! My 8 yr old got locked in the bathroom. She was banging on the door, screaming and crying. Several customers tried to help while the cashier went to find the "key". He was gone for 13 minutes to find the key. The other employees acted like this was no big deal. They said "this door gets jammed all the time" and continued to make sandwiches. I was asking for a butter knife, a screwdriver, or another tool. I tried a toothpick, a Bobbie pin, a pocket knife, a coffee stirrer and a credit card. Finally, he came with a key. No apology and no cookie to make it right. Oh wow, this is a dangerous spot to be if you're craving dessert. After perusing the many scrumptious treats displayed before us, we decided to order two brownies to split and a box of their famous cookies. First of all, get the chocolate brownie. Seriously, it's delicious. Second, the cookies were al decorated so cute- a baseball, a dinosaur, etc. and were SO SOFT. I don't know how but they were amazing. I love to support local, but this place just doesn't live up to its potential. On the plus side, they've got decent pastries (very sweet), a few good food items (mainly due to the yummy bread), and a delicious raspberry tea. But some of the other food is awful. Today, we tried some new items - the chicken avocado sandwich (advertised as everyone's favorite sandwich) and a mandarin chicken salad (the special). The sandwich was a roll with mayo with one third a chunk of avocado slapped onto a chicken breast that filled about half the roll. Something I'd expect for $2 at a below-average fast food joint, not a local Cafe for $9!! The chicken was so tough in places, we could hardly chew it. Since we were home, we added cheese and tomatoes, which made it bearable. The salad had the same tough chicken with some almond slivers, celery pieces, green onion, and about two mandarin orange slices broken into bits. It was meager. There was no recommended dressing, so we went with balsamic vinaigrette. Whoa! Mouth-puckering (and I love vinegar)! We feel like we wasted $20 on an incredibly disappointing meal. Lastly, the way the ordering, etc is organized is so frustrating - chaotic, inefficient, and confused. I'd agree with other comments about the service, though I think it's due to poor training and management rather than poor attitudes. After this experience, we're not likely to return. read more

Katy's pantry is the bomb.com I travel a lot for work and on a recent trip to good ol' Enid, OK, had to come here from a local's recommendation. I am so glad I did... This is now a staple for lunch and yes... dessert! The daily specials are amazing along with the soups and sandwiches. The sandwiches are made fresh with homemade bread. Their pantry bread is amazing. I haven't been disappointed by their daily soups. What they really excel in is their dessert! I've had their sugar almond cookies and had the best strawberry cake of my life! Yes... of my life! It's fresh baked, moist, and the icing is delicious and not too sweet. My coworkers ordered the Mississippi mud bar, chocolate peanut butter pie, Turtle cheesecake... and they are all in diabetic comas now. RIP.... :) But really, they enjoyed them a lot. Definitely a good indulgence. Ate here for both lunch and dinner. Although the lines seem long, there always places to sit. it's well decorated and has a nice aesthetic. I've stopped in to get desserts to-go several times but today I had lunch for the first time. Wish I would have eaten here sooner. The ingredients were all fresh and their bread was a really tasty sweet bread. My kids had their sandwiches on it.. they seemed to enjoy. Perhaps it may be too sweet for others. I personally loved it. The desserts are amazing as well. Even if you don't want to eat right away, definitely don't leave without taking one home! Kids meal is a good value for amount of food. The sugar cookies are some of the best I've had. Cute seasonal designs as well. There are few things more disappointing to me than a brown salad and I definitely don't have to worry about this at Katy's. The salads are fresh, sandwiches are fresh, cookies are never stale. Cakes are so good, try the Strawberry Cake w Creamcheese frosting, it is So So So Delicious!! I have it every year on my Birthday! The food here is just amazing. On my last visit I ordered 1/2 turkey sandwich 1/ 2 salad, a Dr Pepper and I had just had to get 2 cookies for my boys. Only downside for me was the price. Overpriced, overhyped, and underperforming. Entering a place that looks somewhere between a small-town grandma's seventies kitchen and a half-way house, I'm always surprised to see this place packed. Nothing I have eaten here yet has come close to justify the ridiculously long wait, and everything tastes like the first step in the recipe is "open a can of..." The pastries are lackluster, the service grudging, and flavor struggling. The prices are not at all justifiable: For the price of a loaf of bread, pack of Kraft cheese, and stick of butter you too can enjoy a single grilled cheese reminiscent of the finest elementary school cafeteria. The French fries are awful (not just because a place called "pantry" serves French fries) unseasoned and mushy. The sandwiches are overwhelmingly dull, with the small exception of the French dip. The pastries are less enticing than store-bought boxes of processed pastries. I am a girl who loves a good Danish... and dang, that was a really bad Danish- not worth the price or calories. The chili tastes a bit like the large metal pot it's been sitting in all day, and is more of a ground-beef based spicy spaghetti sauce (would you like some chili with your pile of ground beef?). And the wait. Ugh. Who in the working world has time to wait an hour between ordering your food and finally getting to eat it? Certainly not anyone from the base, but they only give a military discount for members in uniform -which while a very nice and appreciated gesture- is kind of messed up. How is a service member on the weekend any less active duty if they are in normal cloths? If you need proof just ask for their ID. So many people seem to like this place, maybe because Enid is seriously lacking in anything close to a bakery or café... but nothing about the three times I've visited over the last two years makes this place worth going to. read more

Ordered turkey panini, it looked pretty plain but made up for it in taste. The place was packed at lunch which is usually a pretty good sign. The menu is a bit pricey, $8 for a sandwich and pickle, and the cheapest salad is $5. The desserts looked tasty, I only got cookies to take to the kids, though. Again, a bit pricey. Have been eating here on and off for years. Many of their meals have been excellent, but today was not one of those days. Ordered the Grilled Chicken Salad. Anne Burrell would give you heck over the uneven knife cuts on both the chicken and the veggies--some huge, some hard to see. Nothing about this salad seemed fresh, and the chicken was totally unseasoned--not even salt and pepper, raw veggies that were five (5) different sizes, old-looking mushy mushrooms. The best part of the salad was the seasoned croutons and the salad dressing. This is my second very bad experience with their salads over the past year. Maybe I should just avoid them in the future. Try buying the pre-packaged "butter lettuce"--it's always fresh, crisp, and fluffy. Head lettuce that has seen better days is not the right choice. Otherwise, the place is clean, and the person who greeted me for my pick-up order was friendly, and that's almost equally important to the quality of the food. read more

This is hands down the best restaurant in Enid, OK. Everything is made fresh from the pastries to the bread they use. When you order a sandwich put it on the house bread, you won't regret it I promise! From time to time there can be a bit of a wait, it certainly isn't fast food type. However it is very good and relatively good for you! You can get sandwiches, some hot meals like lasagna, soups and various baked goods. They also make fresh sides like pasta salad there in house.
