I was recommended by a family member and decided to try my luck I was amazingly and wonderfully surprised. Not all automotive places give you fair and accurate information, especially to females, as I am. I called the day my truck stopped running suddenly and they had me bring it in immediately. I had it towed to them and they advised me exactly what was wrong (a fuel pump)and what I needed to get it fixed. I told Jeff that I was on a fixed income and I was going to call around to compare prices. Not only did he not seem upset and told me he completely understood, but he told me exactly what to tell them and what I needed. Everywhere I called was much higher than Katz and was not nearing as kind. I say that because Jeff acted like he really cared and treated me with respect even though I called 3 different times with questions. We were on a family vacation from Pennsylvania when we encountered a flat tire. We went to 4 other tire shops and all they wanted to do was sell us a tire instead of patch/plug it when that's all we needed. When I call Katz Alex answered said yes bring it in we can help you it will be about an hour we got there it only took them 20-30 minutes. I had my husband 2 adult children my daughters fiancé and our 2 year old that has medical issues and also has communication difficulties and they were great with everyone even the little guy Alex was great said he could run around the lobby waiting area and even said he could do flips off the tire display. Lol They treated us like family. Alex also hooked us up with a local realtor as we were talking and saying we looking for land or place in the local area. The are the BEST! Took the car to a shop I've been dealing with for 20 years, with a Major oil leak. They took two days to replace the oil filter, filler cap, and charge me $250. The leak was still there. I took it to Katz and they drove me home. About an hour and a half later they called with the problem. Driveshaft seal was bad. They ordered the parts and scheduled repair after the parts arrived. They had it two days and the repair completed. There are NO LEAKS from the car now! The necessary repair was substantial involving replacing the water pump and timing change, but was completed without delay. They stayed in touch with me throughout and picked me up and dropped me off. They will be getting all my business in the future. THANKS! read more

I gave Katz Auto a call about an electrical issue I was experiencing with my truck. I tried my best to figure it out myself but hit multiple major roadblocks. They were able to get me in the same day as my call and got right on the issue. They found the issue and had my vehicle running properly the very next day. Alex was very supportive and communicative. He communicated before going forward with any services that were going to take place and made sure I was aware of the full situation. I had a great experience with the folks over at Katz Automotive. They were friendly and able to get to work on my car right away. I really appreciated how they took the time to explain everything so I could make an informed decision about the repairs. This was especially appreciated as I'm not a very car-savvy individual. During my visit, the staff even offered to fix up my front bumper that had partly fallen off, free of charge. Since, moving to GJ, I've had to take my rav4 to several shops around town. I cant praise these folks enough! Alex went above and beyond for us. We were traveling from Arizona to Denver when our car broke down outside of Moab Utah. The mechanic there was rude, mean, and just down-right egotistical. Alex and the crew was a breath of fresh air. Alex offered us food and transportation. He was patient and understanding with us. I had taken my vehicles to Katz for over 20 years (That's when the owner Bill was working the front desk). Now since Bill isn't their hardy anymore the place went down hill!! I feel I got over charged for a lot of work they did to my cars. Got my engine replaced and I feel they over charged me at least 5 Thousand Dollars to much. THEY ARE NOT AS GOOD AS THEY WERE BEFORE. I'm surprised that they are still in business. I will never recommend this garage to anyone. I hope Katz will get as good as they were before. read more
