The highlight of my trip to Kauai has been to this trip with the Kauai ATV Tours. I think is is because our 2 guides were off the top greatest tour guides I've ever had. Mona & Isaiah, were phenomenal. They were knowledgeable, personable, and funny. They kept the mood alive and bumping and I LOVED their genuine way to connect with each group. The tour definitely showed us another level of an experience to the island. The experience was surreeal in the 4 points that you get to explore with the group you are placed with. Everyone becomes a team and a unit. Each point becomes more elaborate than the next. The first with the eye opening beachfront that doesn't feel like any other. So secluded and one of a kind. The next few points are one of a kind as well. I think the experience is what you make of it. The drive alone is a video game like experience of leveling up to keep up with the group. But in the end it becomes the 3 hour experience you hang with your crew. I think each group should have a name to bond the groups forever. I want to call ours as default Jurassic Frank! (Frank is the rooster that lives very comfortably in the last man made lake spot. Please, remember to say hello to him and his many accomplishes that give you a lot of genuine love. MUST DO EXPERIENCE! If you're torn between mountain tubing and ATV riding, choose the ATV riding no question! We had the best time and felt like this was such a great value. We spent about two hours in the ATVs exploring four different stops... one ocean stop, one mountain stop, a stop at Wilcox tunnel, and finally, a stop to bamboo pole fish. Our guides, Kayson and Cole were awesome! Didn't talk too much but shared a little history and trivia about each area we stopped at. We had three kids with us and rode in two separate ATVs. Great experience in Koloa! Mana & Tori led us to a beautiful beach, historic movie scenes and taught us the history of Hawaii sugarcane operations from years past with their tunnels. They provide top notch Polaris razors that run well with good jaunts of speed on muddy bumpy fun trails. A short hike to a beach, with some fishing at the end if you choose. Loved the tour! Just book it and take your kids -many kids on our tour and they loved it! They provide a neck gator you keep , helmet and goggles. The start location is a bit hard to find from google maps, just make sure your on welli well road. Definitely recommend! We wished there was a bit more driving time and down through the historic meadow where Jurassic and other movies were filmed instead of just overlooking; this would improve the experience, but the land is all private and lucky to have any trails from what we heard. read more

We have been on one other ATV tour on another part of Kauai before, and this one far surpassed that one! Our guides, Edward and Kylie were so amazing, knowledgeable and fun! The four spots where we stopped provided majestic views and also historical significance. My husband and our two kids thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of riding through all the mud. We had a great time - the weather was perfect and the scenery is non-comparable. A big reason I'm taking off a few stars is that the biggest reason we booked this was for the Jurassic Park experience and our guides "forgot" to stop at the jeep. We even asked if we could do it. We also didn't get to try fishing because they "forgot" the bait. Other than those two things, we would definitely recommend this tour - I just wouldn't expect all of the things that are listed, because we felt a little bummed about missing out. Everyone else that got to see and do those things seemed like they had a good time! Make sure to wear clothes you never want to wear again if there has been rain as the mud stains will not come out of your clothes. One and done. Where should I begin... IT IS JUST AWESOME! Mana and Tyler did a great job from the start. They were funny and they took care of us and they provided great customer services. The checking could not be easier and the young ladies were very nice and pleasant. After you are checked in, they let you know where to meet your drivers. Once you park and you meet the drivers they take care if you from that moment. Mana and Tyler did just that. We go over some safety briefing, get your gear on and then you get to go on your ATV. They give you one more briefing and you are on your way! The views are breathtaking, the staff is great and the experience very thrilling. Mana and Tyler gave us a brief history of the islands and different landmarks. They know where and what movies were filmed there and they even point out the white pole or tank used in Jurassic Park. Make sure you look for it and find it. You will be amazed! You get to see a tunnel how sugar was transported, you see a lake or a fishing pond, you will feed the ducks too. I saw the Area where Jurassic Park was filmed with Chris Pratt, Sharknato, Piranaconda, Avatar and others. The BEST advise that I can give you, would be to wear old clothe or get some water proof clothing or rain jackets and pants. The mud will stain your clothe and you will remember Mana and Tyler FOREVER! If you are worry about safety, I can say that ATV has safety measures in place and the road was pretty safe. However, if you are feeling froggy you will find a pond to swim in for sure. The nice ladies at the front desk will place a $1500 on your credit card for incidentals. That should give you 1500 reasons not to do treat the ATV like crap and flip them. Overall, this place is great! They go fast, friendly, clean, funny, staff! You. Will. Have. Fun. !. You. Will. Be. We went over to Kauai for Easter weekend and decided to book an activity. This was our choice. Everything from check in to check out was smooth and organized by staff. I booked online and when they saw my Hawaii ID in person, I was given a refund for Kamaaina discount without even asking. We had a couple of hiccups- there was one family that was late, and also got a flat tire. Our guides (Tori, Ari, and Kendall) handled it gracefully and quickly as possible. While I would have enjoyed a little bit more ride time, the views and the history shared with us was appreciated. If you come to Hawaii and don't care to hear about the history or culture, then you will probably have a crappy experience overall, and that's on you. It was cool to see some of the kids on tour catch fish and be stoked on it. The tour was awesome and we have zero regrets. Thank you for the adventure! read more

Our first day on our honeymoon was spent on the ATV Tours. The tour began with some safety tips beforehand with a group of about 15 other participants. We were greeted by our tour guides Austin and Katie (I'm sorry if I' butchering your names and or spelling). From the get go, Austin led the trip with us closely following right behind. We had several stops through out the trip, including a semi private beach, a mountain side view looking down on a beautiful side of the island with amazing views, a tunnel, and a spot to fish. During the trip our guides did an excellent job of sharing some history of the island, and filling us in on some of the island's conservation efforts. Awesome ATV tour by the coolest, humorous gents on the island- Austin and Mana( apology if misspelled)! First time as a family excursion. Weather was perfect with slight wind, overcast and muddy trails. Perfect for a 3 hour outing. We had a wonderful time and ATV were rugged for the terrain. Four stops along the tour to stretch legs and listen to local island history. Very appreciative of the knowledge the two guides had. 2nd stop included water/ granola break. Worth the view of the island and ocean. There are bathrooms, changing room, cold shower What to Bring: change of clothes, shoes, towels, poncho unless you want to get muddy, water resistant attire if you don't like wet feeling on skin. My family did this a few years back and admittedly it was a fun experience. Going to Kauai again this summer, but now days, it's about $1000 for a family of four to go on this approx. 3 hour excursion!!!! Listen, I get that they charge this much cuz there are people that are willing to pay it, but that amount is RIDICULOUS! I could see MAYBE $100 a person (even that is too much), but $200 a person plus tax, etc.... Way to take away a fun experience from people who can't necessarily afford 1k for a 3 hour tour. Our tour was just this morning and it was fantastic. The best part for me was riding in to a Kauai sun rise- such a breath taking and majestic sight! We couldn't have asked for better tour guides. Malachi and Mana (sorry if I misspelled lol), these dudes were top notch. They both had great sense of humors, were super chill and laid back, and incredibly knowledgeable. I was telling hubby, idk how they remember all the info the share with us. So much knowledge of the Hawaiian culture and history! Where do I begin? Not only is the drive beautiful, amazing and thrilling. The customer service from Avery and Mikayla was on point. Ther both kept us laughing while providing educational information about the island. They made sure we were safe at all times and made sure we had a good time. What a blast! Isaiah & Kaohi were such fun and made our tour so fun that we didn't want it to end! I kept teasing them saying that it was such a shame they didn't get along!! LOL!! I'm guessing they must be friends outside of their responsibilities with making us all have a great time because they really did such a great job making us all laugh out loud! The only problem with laughing & smiling so much is that we end up needing to brush the dirt out of our mouths multiple times, even with the neck gators! This was the best adventure we had in Kauai! From the check-In process to the activity itself, it was flawless. The staff and crew are all so pleasant and helpful. Our guides were the best! Our group of 5 got 3 vehicles - they seated 4 each but we wanted to drive so... The people were great and we enjoyed ourselves. Still - in years past we've gone to waterfalls and had a little lunch and the fishing time seemed a disappointing replacement. Also, driving up to the Wilcox tunnel and hearing the history then being told we could NOT go through was also disappointing. I tried to get some info before going but my contact company was in Vegas and they didn't seem to communicate this easily. Good time/ not great for the $900 it cost us. read more

Overall we had a really great experience. The views were amazing and our guides were wonderful! Malakei and Mana were chill and fun! My only complaint is that there wasn't enough ATV stuff and alot of tour stuff. I love hearing the history but I definitely excepted more ATVing. I think that tour is great for an older couple who truly wants a tour. Maybe there can be an option in the future for more off roading ATV? Maybe there is an I just didn't see it. All staff from check in to checkout were friendly and professional, Bri and Koa did a great job teaching us some of the history of the island and Bri takes awesome pictures! We did the tour on 8/26/22. Be aware that you will not see the waterfall or go down to the sand on the beach, as other yelpers pictures show. You will also not get to walk/drive through the tunnel. The website does not advertise the waterfall but it does say you will walk down to a sandy beach. We did not do that. It is a lookout point/cliff, overlooking the beach. The main reason for the low rating is that compared to other atv rides we've done in Hawaii (4 others) this one was my least favorite. The views were just ok (compared to the others). And it had the most people compared to others and it had the least amount of atv drive time. read more
