No call back, no text back. What a sham, no customer service, call back your damn customers. I'm sure we'll never see a refund nor explanation!! Bye bye $500 bucks. Reporting you to the BBB and TripAdvisor!!! What a rip off, do not book with these clowns!!!!! Oh, and there was "no refunds" stated on our vouchers!

It seemed like she was covering both the bar and the dining section solo, which is a lot to juggle, and I think that stretched her (and our food) too thin. To her credit, she was apologetic and comped our entire food order, which I appreciated. I did ask if we could just get some chips for the kids since we were trying to feed them before the ride, but was pointed toward the gift shop instead -- a small thing, but it would've gone a long way in that moment. We also missed out on the juice that I paid for with the ride but we never got to redeem it in time. Overall, the railway experience itself is worth it, but the food service side needs better staffing support -- maybe a dedicated server for the dining area separate from the bar would help things run smoother for families trying to eat before boarding.

Well, we finally pulled the trigger on it and did the experience...and it was well worth it. Lance, the owner and instructor was fantastic. With only 8 spots available, you have to book this as soon as it is available. The shop is only 300 sq. Ft. So any more people would be too much and the set up was perfect. It is amazing this small space produces the chocolate! The overall lesson is great because he takes you from bean to chocolate. This is not tree to chocolate because he doesn't have the trees nor does he have the pods and that part of the collection process (however, Lance, if you or your wife are reading this, it might be a great future endeavor to have an option to work with one of your partners and add on the collection tour before!). While he doesn't have the collection process, Lance does an excellent job speaking to the process once beans are collected. From there, the chocolate making and tasting process is thoroughly explained and you are part of it. Finally, making your chocolate is a lot of fun and there are roughly 30 ingredients you can use for your 2 bars. I personally made: an Indian spice flavor chocolate for half a bar, coconut sea salt for second half, matcha coconut sea salt for 3rd half, and coffee bean sea salt for last). Bring your creativity! Thank you Lance for this fantastic experience.

Booking we thought, drinking and animals were worth the price of admission but the tour is more than that. I can't praise our amazing tour guides, Tiny and Rick, enough. They were knowledgeable, hilarious, and incredibly kind. Rick educated us on all the agriculture grown on the farm which was fascinating, and was able to answer any questions anyone threw at him. The mai tais were obviously amazing but their original farm cocktail was knock your socks off good. If you're considering booking, do it right now! We watched kayakers paddle down river as we enjoyed the ease of working our way upriver. Once we arrived at the grotto dock, everyone disembarked and took a short walk up along a smooth path. A side path led off to restrooms. The beautiful jungle foliage was all around us. Tall trees, long vines, and bird song surrounded us we walked up to the viewing platform of the grotto. Once there, the ancient and more recent history and cultural significance of the grotto was shared with us. Additionally, we were treated to beautiful traditional music played at weddings, of which they are a venue. Again, the information was fascinating. The grotto itself is a cave opening at the base of a cliff face. A stream of water flows over the top, feeding into a creek, and ferns grow out from all the crevices. It is a very serene place filled with the gentle sound of running water. On the way back, we were again treated to the talented musicians' playing, singing, and hula dancing. A tip jar was available. Disembarkation was very smooth. I really enjoyed the entirety of the trip. I felt like it was a great value for the ticket price. I would certainly recommended this to anyone who enjoys easy-access to nature and traditional and cultural insight.

Getting to Harbor Mall from the cruise ship was no problem since there were multiple shuttles going to the mall (that was 5 minutes away from the cruise terminal). Wow absolutely disgusting how the tour guide handled herself. We just got to the bus and our babysitter called us from our hotel confirming that she picked up our kids... This guide who's picture I will shortly post told us THAT WE NEED TO HANG UP and that we can't use our phone... "I was like what?? My wife can step out and talk and I can listen to your sit belt instructions or what not, it's important its out babysitter from the hotel" she said "IT DOESNT MATTER WE ARE ON A TOUR" to that I flipped!!! Are you fuckin kidding me??? Is this a vacation tour or a Trafic ticket detention center... As my wife tried to get off the bus she blocked the exit by holding the rail and standing in the front.... my wife had to push her to get off... We are not planning to be stuck in the same bus with with a "Witch" for 12 hours... Before putting Witches in a bus give them lessons of customer support not detention center service... or maybe they need to take a vacation of their own and not be so mad at life.... We did a 3 day land tour in Honolulu and our driver was Kimokeo. He was very knowledgeable and informative regarding the island. The problem here with this driver was his resentment towards the United States with making Hawaii the 50th State. He made it a point to state how the US stole the island from the people of Hawaii. Took their language and religion from his people and brought in disease. All 45 people on board his bus were Americans and we really didn't need to hear his personal feelings regarding the USA. All 3 days we had to hear his negativity. Ironically he made sure to point out the tip policy take our American Dollar but spit on our flag. I will never understand why a tour guide be so resentful. Never again use the tour bus company again. read more

This one I'm going to have to file under one of the hardest things I've done in my life! But I'm so…read moreproud we accomplished this and did this! So many people talk about kayaking the Wailua River and hiking to Secret Falls. We didn't get a chance to do this on our last trip, but my youngest and I tackled this on this trip! Our guide, Ronda, arrived a couple minutes after our tour start time at 1pm. The morning guide said she'd be along "in island time." Once she got there, she took the time to tell us a little about herself, went around our group and had us each introduce ourselves and share a few words. She took the time to memorize all of our names! She also explained to us as all the other tours were heading out, that she liked to hang back and let everyone go do their thing so we can experience the falls privately as just our group. This girl knows what she's doing! It was about a two mile kayaking journey up the Wailua River with stops intermittently along the way for our "kayak kisses" so Ronda could tell us about the history and other aspects of the island. We were almost in our own little version of Survivor, thinking up ways we could survive out there and what we would need. It was honestly very cool. Once we got the end of the kayaking journey, we were given walking sticks for the moderate 1 mile hike to Secret Falls. There are a couple of areas where you have to cross through water, but nothing higher than the knees, at that time. The hike was beautiful! Ronda pointed out the Hawaiian Woodrose, kukui nuts, which we got to crack open and have a small sample, we washed our hands with awapuhi from the awapuhi plant, etc. it was such a cool adventure. We met the local songbird and dug to find worms for him to eat. He ate right from our hands! He actually landed on my hand and looked at me for a couple seconds! We saw cows on the journey home as well. Secret Falls is amazing. We had a blast swimming around there and resting from the journey. We met a lot of great people in our tour. It was like we all became a little family. We packed up and hiked back to our kayaks and headed back down the Wailua for the journey home. This time the wind was against us, so it was literally like paddling upstream both ways lol! This was such an amazing experience. I'm sure I'm leaving some things out because there was so much! I would say, if you're doing the 1pm tour, don't have any other plans the rest of the day. You don't want to be in a rush to get out of there. Our 5 hour tour ended up being close to 7 hours. It was nice because on the way back the motorized vessels were no longer on the river, so we didn't have to worry about other traffic. I'd also recommend having dinner for that night figured out ahead of time because most places locally close at 8pm. We were able to grab dinner from a spot about 10 minutes prior to their closing. They recommend tennis shoes or hiking boots, but my daughter and I used our water socks/reef shoes and while there were a couple times when we were bouldering I would have liked to have better shoes, ultimately it wasn't an issue. Ronda gives you an opportunity to unplug from the world, get yourself on island time, and take in all the beauty Kauai has to offer. Take it!

I was quite nervous, but more from excitement. I was the one who chose doors off. We checked in at the NEW LOCATION at 3748 Ahukini Rd. Lihue, HI 96766. Kalei welcomed us and gave us our time to come back to get ready for our flight. She then directed us to a lounge with restrooms across the street. Preflight preparation with Kalei. First, we watched a short safety video. Next, we strapped a flotation device around our waists. Kalei had us remove our phones from their cases to properly secure them in a holder with a wrist strap. Then we waited on the front bench for our pilot. Within moments, our pilot WALT, walked over and greeted us with a big smile and a hearty handshake. After chatting with Walt, all my fears vanished. He was happy, friendly, and confident. He truly was a cool guy that you do not mind hanging out with for an hour in helicopter. He shared lots of interesting facts about the island and we had a lot of fun laughs. Walt as a pilot was gentle but effective with necessary safety information. His instructions were clear and easy to follow. Getting in and secure was remarkably easy. The flight itself was smooth. We did have some light rainfall during the flight which made for a spectacular rainbow. The entire experience was magical. If you want to know what we saw on the tour, you will need to book the tour and find out. You will not be disappointed. If you end up with Walt as your pilot, you are in great hands. Have fun! You are going to be able to see perspectives you can't get anywhere else. This is one of the most beautiful islands in the world but, it's hard to see its beauty while you are attached to it! I highly recommend going "doorless". The ability to take photos without the softening glare of a window is what really makes one of these flights worthwhile. It's also such an incredible rush to constantly blasted with fresh tropical air. When we got off the helicopter we felt like boring land people and yearned to get back into the skies.

Booking we thought, drinking and animals were worth the price of admission but the tour is more than that. I can't praise our amazing tour guides, Tiny and Rick, enough. They were knowledgeable, hilarious, and incredibly kind. Rick educated us on all the agriculture grown on the farm which was fascinating, and was able to answer any questions anyone threw at him. The mai tais were obviously amazing but their original farm cocktail was knock your socks off good. If you're considering booking, do it right now! The four of us who went talked about it for the rest of the trip- I can't recommend it enough!

Flying over the Nā Pali Coast, Waimea Canyon, and waterfalls you can't even hike to was unreal, but having the doors off made it a completely different experience. The wind, the views, the adrenaline... it was next level. Our pilot was incredible, super knowledgeable, made us feel safe the whole time, and pointed out so many hidden spots we would've never noticed. If you're even thinking about doing this, DO IT. It's worth every single penny.

I sat behind the pilot and DID NOT get many photos of the waterfalls as he catered to the front and otherside of the helicopter never flying where we could take a good photo of all the waterfalls, had to reach over people to get 2 pictures of the waterfalls. When we landed I told him and he said "Well do you want to go back?" Isaid yes I do. I called and complained they said they would look into it and get back to me. Also for people with long legs it was SUPER uncomfortable, packed in the helicopter like sardines. Would not recommend at this point. Heard so many great reviews from other people that took helicopter rides from different companies.

We got to take a picture with a giant tiki from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" which is located there in front of the office. I'm a huge movie fan, so I already knew that I was probably going to enjoy this tour more than my 8-year-old daughter and my hubby. But I was surprised when my daughter got all psyched up when Lilo and Stitch came on the TV screen inside the van, THANKS FOR THAT CLIP! She also perked up for Jurassic Park and enjoyed all the Elvis stuff. WHO DOESN'T LOVE ELVIS? The great thing about this tour is that you don't HAVE to love the movies to enjoy it, you see all the most beautiful parts of the Kauai coastline, and even if you never saw an Esther Williams film, you will WANT to see it after you take this tour!
