The property was amazing with 8 bedrooms (4 upstairs and 4 downstairs), a huge kitchen, a family room, sitting room and media room there was plenty of room for everyone. It was beautifully kept and was stocked with towels, toys, and sports equipment. The house manager was readily available to answer any questions. The walk down to Secret Beach has 360 steep stairs so it was a workout getting back up but the beach is breaking and very quiet although you may see a little bit of nude bathing. The house offers the most amazing views of the ocean, sand and lighthouse. I would highly recommend!

It's pretty large, clean (they're strict about it), and there's a lot of parking. Come by when the museum is open. Admission is free, but donations are accepted. There's at least one volunteer staffing it. The museum focuses on Kauai citizens' contributions to wars and conflicts with a lot of personal artifacts, historical photos, models, and several captured war pieces. Alex went out of her way on a Sunday to help us get the baby to safety( thank you Joy for letting us in)! They also adopt cats and kittens with the Kauai Community Cats organization with the help of Susan! This sweet girl is going to live her best life in MN with my brother and sister in law and I am so grateful for their help!

They told me they had a party last week and everything was fine. They include the kitchen, but you are not allowed to use the ice box or the stoves you only can use the countertop and the spot to wash dishes. they also have a little backyard playground. look like they had some kind of project going on back there they had wood piles of dirt, some sand and we have to make sure our guest wasn't touching any of that. They did not block anything off. other than that bathroom was really nice and clean and they had a stage.

Personally I think 100 people is the perfect count for this place - not too crowded but not empty. Rusty who is the POC for hosting parties there is always responsive, flexible and kind. The staff is also very accommodating and helpful. The first time we booked was back in 2023 and it was when they were first opening up as a venue. Prices were super reasonable in 2023. We booked another party in 2025 and prices were still very reasonable. We decided to cater through them for our party. I was a tad skeptical but was proven wrong. For a party of roughly 75, we ordered just one pan of each thing and it was more than enough. We had the fried noodles, fried rice, short rib, smoke meat, chicken wings., lumpia and fried ahi. The food was Ono!! It was so good that we thought about catering from them even if we don't have a party there. I think his name was Clyde or Klein who cooks the food - bolohead guy. I think the only take away is that you have to keep the doors closed for AC which makes sense but if you have a jumper outside it's hard to see and the kids will keep going in and out. I think dining here when it's dark and candlelit would be more romantic, but I enjoyed looking around at the little house and its design and the beautiful garden surrounding it while we waited for them to open. It's also interesting to read about the history of the house and its site (it's a carefully built replica of the old original house that was here in the 1860's built by a Chinese immigrant rice farmer. The iconic Hole 7 view was beautiful. The rough (which I was in most of the time) is what it is rough. The greens were well kept. I'm typically a good putter but I just couldn't get a good read on the speeds this day. The beverage cart passed us a few times which was nice. Although the "swing juice" didn't help my game this day. At some point, a staff member was at one of the holes with fresh pineapples - delicious! At the end, the staff welcomed us back and cleaned our clubs. They were great and very nice. The set the clubs to the side and said it'll be ready for us after the golf shop. The staff in the golf shop were nice and very friendly. The items were fairly priced and lots to choose from! Decided to roll with a hat, sticker and ball marker poker chip. Great time with my sons and best friend. Another successful golf trip on a beautiful island! I would definitely play again!
