The hall is rectangular, much longer than wider. The facility is accessible. The entire place showed its age but was neat and clean. It looked as though the space within could be divided. There was a kitchen area. The floors were bare tile. The major issue we encountered was air conditioning. We were there for a well-attended event on a hot mid-September day. The A/C vents, however, seemed to be located only at one end of the building, and it wasn't where we were. That end of the building was very comfortable. The section next to it was okay if you weren't moving too much. The section we were in, farthest away from the vents, was pretty miserable. They tried to keep the doors closed and the A/C in, but even if they had been successful, I'm not sure it would have helped. Most people spent a lot of time fanning themselves. Also the acoustics were not good for an event like this, with lots of people talking. It was difficult to hear and be heard, given all the noise. Then they piped music over standing speakers and we had to yell to be heard. It would probably be fine if there was only one source of sound at a time, like one person speaking, everyone listening to the same music, etc. Load-in and out was easy due to multiple doors in the sides and end. There was a theater at the end we were near, but it was closed, so I can't tell you what it was like inside although outside of it was very hot, since there were no A/C vents. It looked as though the theater had been added at a later time.

The Convention Hall is a multi-purpose facility that's great for hosting parties (birthdays,…read moreweddings, etc.). Every time I go there it's always for that specific reason. Driving in from Hardy street, you have a massive uncovered parking. There's a chain link fence that separates the lot from the Hall, so you have to find the niche in which it opens toward the entrance. Walking into the ballrooms, you have are immediately struck by the size of the place. If you've seen the space from end-to-end and not separated by dividers, you'll know what I mean by it! This place is mostly for space rental - there's no catering or staff that services the hall and must be provided by the party. You do have the general necessities to host a party, and that includes a sink, bar, fridge, cupboards, a stage and bathrooms. I was fortunate enough to host a First Birthday Party at the Convention to 'test' out the acoustics of the room. Depending on the amount of sound generated from whatever speaker system you have, it can only travel so far. Also right next door to the Ballrooms, you have a Theater that's host to other grand productions (concerts, plays, pageants, etc.). I've only taken a peek in there once but it's a pretty decent size! The property was amazing with 8 bedrooms (4 upstairs and 4 downstairs), a huge kitchen, a family room, sitting room and media room there was plenty of room for everyone. It was beautifully kept and was stocked with towels, toys, and sports equipment. The house manager was readily available to answer any questions. The walk down to Secret Beach has 360 steep stairs so it was a workout getting back up but the beach is breaking and very quiet although you may see a little bit of nude bathing. The house offers the most amazing views of the ocean, sand and lighthouse. I would highly recommend!

The iconic Hole 7 view was beautiful. The rough (which I was in most of the time) is what it is rough. The greens were well kept. I'm typically a good putter but I just couldn't get a good read on the speeds this day. The beverage cart passed us a few times which was nice. Although the "swing juice" didn't help my game this day. At some point, a staff member was at one of the holes with fresh pineapples - delicious! At the end, the staff welcomed us back and cleaned our clubs. They were great and very nice. The set the clubs to the side and said it'll be ready for us after the golf shop. The staff in the golf shop were nice and very friendly. The items were fairly priced and lots to choose from! Decided to roll with a hat, sticker and ball marker poker chip. Great time with my sons and best friend. Another successful golf trip on a beautiful island! I would definitely play again!

They told me they had a party last week and everything was fine. They include the kitchen, but you are not allowed to use the ice box or the stoves you only can use the countertop and the spot to wash dishes. they also have a little backyard playground. look like they had some kind of project going on back there they had wood piles of dirt, some sand and we have to make sure our guest wasn't touching any of that. They did not block anything off. other than that bathroom was really nice and clean and they had a stage.

I don't even know where to start…read more.. We booked three rooms and paid an additional $3k to host what was supposed to be a "private dinner" for 7 people in their restaurant. Immediately, everyone who worked here is so unwelcoming and unaccomadating. From initial check in, the valet/bellman was irritated by how many bags we had, then we were told we had to go back into the check in line and get a pass for his car after we had just checked in. We went to the concierge and he said he couldn't help us, we had to wait in line. So we did, for 20 minutes - once we got to the front, she told us we didn't need a pass to park. Then we got to the "private" dinner which we paid $3k for...showed up and it was just the table with an ocean view with some curtains against the wall. We asked them to close said curtains, they told us that would disrupt the other guests....when we paid for private room....we had to throw a fit and pull up email exchanges to get them to close the curtains. Then during some high-spirited toasts we got a bit loud, SECONDS LATER, our waiter came in and told us to keep it down. WE PAID FOR A PRIVATE ROOM. FOR THIS REASON. We haven't even left the table yet and I am just fuming writing this. We're honestly very easy people. This was a horrific experience.

It's okay to get two or three if you want them. The kids enjoyed the activities provided by the property. One thing I was surprised by was that the property didn't mention a time share program to me. The individuals working at KHS were all wonderful! We also received a tattoo recommendation from one of the employees as her father was dropping off some lunch for her and had very impressive tattoos. Please help this facility! They have numerous cats and dogs for adoption! We were missing our "Chewy" back on the mainland so we decided to adopt SKOR for the day and we almost adopted her. I hope SKOR has been adopted. I think they are in a prime location to get tourists to come and donate or buy gifts if they could do some fundraising events or improve gift shop area. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and offered to take our picture. We take our Stitch animal on every trip and wanted to take this fun pic, we did get stickers and make a donation. I know it is very hard to bring dogs to islands, so adopting from the island is a great option. We do foster dogs at our home and we support animal shelters that do a lot of the hard work.
