I called Kauff's towing to tow my 36 ft. motorhome to a auto repair shop. I have a problem with the engine. They were terrific on the phone, the young lady was very nice. The truck arrived in about 20 minuets. Tony the driver was exceptionally nice and informative of what he was going to do. He hooked up the motorhome up in about 15 minuets and off we went. Called to ask questions about picking up a car and she kept interrupting me and hung up mid sentence. Called back and was greeted with attitude about answering basic customer service questions like the location of the business. This company is totally rude, with absolutely no customer service skills or empathy for older, disabled humans. They showed no problem solving resolutions for a difficult situation. They had an impounded golf cart belonging to my family, especially my husband. My husband is disabled and depends on that golf cart for transportation to activities at our complex. He also uses the cart for recreational purposes as he is unable to walk. Our son used the cart with our knowledge., Yes he deserves to have consequences, but don't punish an elderly man that used the the cart for what time he has left to enjoy life. Have some compassion and try to solve some issues to make everyones life better. Get on board and support the elderly. How can you be so rude to seniors in our community. Horrific customer service. Very nasty girl answers. Very sarcastic. We would have never chosen these crooks. This is where the vehicle was towed after the wreck. Second time we had to unfortunately deal with them. First time was very bad also. They even stole all my son's items from the truck. They won't let us get her personal effects from vehicle. I'm sure so they can steal everything from there also My child was a victim in the wreck and they still wouldn't allow us to get her items. I asked how they charge and if they still charge over the weekend, even though we couldn't get to the vehicle. The nasty B--ch said happily... "yes, we even charge on the weekend while it's in our custody" As if it's hard enough to deal with all the after effects of a wreck including injuries and hospital, we have to deal with a very nasty person at Kauffs. About a month ago my girlfriend and I were stranded on the side of the highway going up to Orlando from Miami with no real way to get off the shoulder. No one wanted to come and tow us off the highway and that's when DUSTY came to my rescue and made sure he got us where we needed to be that night. My car died on 95 an hour away from home. I called my roadside assistance and they were no help. Then I called AAA and within an hour they were sending Kauff's Towing. I am so glad they did! Dan was absolutely wonderful. My mom had driven to pick up me and my kids. Dan told me where to leave the keys and to start driving home, he would take car of my car. Dan called and texted every step of the way. He gave me regular updates and pictures so I knew my car was safe. He was friendly, understanding and even made the kids and I laugh in the middle of a very stressful and exhausting experience. He towed the car nearly an hour away, late at night, and was nothing but great. When I finally got my car back I found the receipt with a funny note on it in the car. Thinking that I'm going to be sitting in the parking lot of Presidente for a very long time. ‍. Nope. Adam from Kauff's to the rescue! Response time was sincerely minimal. Not enough time to check social media! Adam was professional and polite. He had me laughing during a stressful situation. That is a skill that cannot be taught! the manager of the Port St Lucie location (they all called him "my boss" but I believe his name is Billy) actually told his employees to hang up on me...and that is exactly what two people did. it is a long story but suffice it to say this company cares about nothing but the dollar so if you have a problem once they get their money, forget getting anyone to listen who cares. I didnt curse at them or raise my voice. I am a 70 yr old woman who was stranded with a hurricane coming and they couldn't have cared less, leaving me in a less than desirable situation. I used this company to do a routine jump start on battery. Cables were placed in reverse. Sparks..smoke..towing service reaction.." This has never happened before! The absolute rudest receptionist I ever had the displeasure of dealing with. My car was hit and towed by Kauffs, we asked that it be towed to a body shop, had the body shop call them to have the car taken there the body shop was going to pay the bill and be reimbursed by insurance, they were told there was no record of the tow. I called and talked to rude woman who said how can we know if your car is being towed we tow a lot of cars, After telling her again to drop the car at the body shop she agreed and hung up. The body shop was on the way to where they wanted to take the car to their yard, so the could get a storage fee and another $110,00 hook fee. Don't use this tow company. read more

Had an agreement with this company to tow unauthorized vehicles off my property. I called them at 1:15 to come and tow a car off my property and was told it would be a 1 hour to 90 minute wait. After waiting 90 minutes for the car to get towed, no one showed up. I called to get an ETA and was told it would be another 30 minutes. After 30 minutes I called again and this time they didn't even give me a time to get the car towed. They gave some excuse that they had an influx of cars needing towed. Finally at 5:30 the tow truck shows up. By this point, I am no longer at the property and the car wasn't even there. I would stay clear of this company if you need a car towed quickly as they have no rush to help. read more
