I contacted Cake Anatomy LLC even after the bride had gone into the showroom herself and was treating poorly by the baker. I was hoping perhaps she was just having a bad day... Unfortunately, her request for a simple cake for two months out was /denied/ because it would be "unprofessional" to create a plain white cake and reflect poorly on their business. This was after we had exchanged several emails going so far as to set up a tasting (at which the baker would not allow the bride to make a request since she has dietary restrictions. A member of her bridal party has a severe allergy to chocolate, so she couldn't just taste anything and leave it to chance). Suddenly, she refused to help us out because our specifications were not in her repertoire. Her website is poorly worded, when she uses terms like "to include" or "one of our specialties" she really means that that's all she does. I have heard her cakes are delicious via other reviews online, so if you are looking to have her make your wedding cake, I hope your request fits into her guidelines, otherwise you will be unprofessionally a brusquely declined.

They have a lot of events going on since it is connected to the bike shop, it's always great hearing what the upcoming event will be. I totally recommend stopping here for some coffee and something to eat. It's a cute little place to hang out and I think during the summer you'll be able to sit rooftop outside which would be really nice :)

Also we wish the bagel was slightly toasted instead of just a sliced everthing bagel. Still, I'd rather pay a little more occasionally for a place with personality than eat somewhere completely forgettable. ACOCA definitely has personality. Would I return? Absolutely!!!
