Space available in the back of the shop for parties.

I always find it difficult to review businesses that truly blow me away. However, I'm always compelled and feel it is my duty to let the world know how great they are because I want to make sure they stick around for a long time. That is the case today with the Kuwaii Klaws location on Main St. in Alhambra. I came across Kuwaii Klaws a few months ago while waiting for a table for a restaurant a block down. I knew I had some time to kill so we strolled down to the shop to try our luck with the claw machines. The shop was well kept, well stocked and the staff went above and beyond to make my child feel welcome. It was such a fun experience and when we noticed the "we do birthday parties" sign my child instantly knew this would be a top contender for venue. Well 3 months later Kuwaii Klaws was still on my kids mind and I reached out to the shop to get the specifics. The whole process was incredibly smooth, the owner was kind and so accommodating. The venue had party space, chairs and tables were included in the package and the option of renting out the shop for an additional fee was available. To me, pricing was very reasonable for what was included. On the day of the party all the staff at Kuwaii Klaws once again hit it out of the park...special shout out to Rigby who was extra amazing with the kids! I don't think people realize how rare great customer service is these days; Kuwaii Klaws is a shining example of that. This is a business I want to give my money to. Thank you to everyone at Kuwaii Klaws for going above and beyond and making your guests smile...you guys rock! So if you're looking for a great place for a birthday party or just a fun afternoon out with the fam, this is definitely the place to go. Until next time Kuwaii!

Good value for 1$ per play. They had alot of cute stuffies available to win. You can also trade in your stuffies that you won to trade up for another prize located in the front. The gentleman working was friendly. Overall , it was a nice experience for my toddler and our family !

This is an arcade on Main St in Alhambra. There was a variety of different plushies and each one was one token! There's only one worker but she attended to everyone's needs! Just be patient since there's only one worker! Value was good! It's mostly $1 is 1 token. TIP: Parking is mostly nearby as public parking. There's no restrooms in this store. Check in on Yelp to get 2 FREE tokens!

So many claw machines! Let's play!!!

    I love that there is a live a human and plenty of claw machines!!! Yay! $1 = 1 token $5 = 5 tokens $10 = 10 tokens $20 = 22 tokens $50 = 58 tokens $100 = 116 tokens

My first ever happened in this place! Excellent service, fantastic staff, and good-quality plushies. For $1 per coin, which is the cost for a machine that requires one coin, it is definitely a good value. Free 4-hour parking is available at the nearby parking structures.

Similar to the Kawaii Klaws that I'm familiar with in West Covina, but definitely a bit more compact and smaller. I think they were still setting up some of the machines since some of them didn't have the power on or prizes inside. I came here on a random weekday afternoon and I was the only guest there but I'm sure things change in the evening or maybe right after school since it's within walking distance of a high school. Like the other locations I've been to, there's a plushie photo op wall in the back. The variety seems to be a bit more limited than the other locations (probably due to size of the store and still setting up), but there's something there for all cute character enjoyers I'm sure. I like the obviously unofficial Despicable Me Mofusand collaboration plushies. But I would love to see Chiikawa abominations as well. $1 per play isn't too bad since it is QUITE possible to win from their crane games and they have an exchange up system as well if you win multiple. Worker there greeted me when I came in and was polite too.

Fun place. Spent 20 dollars. Each game is one token . I got 3 plushies . Great prices for each machine . It also has a cute little bench to take pictures

    Great staff!

My kids love coming here! What little girl wouldn't! The machines are fairly cheap and we always walk out with something the girls won. Staff is super friendly(I forgot her unique name) and very helpful, she was very nice to my kids and stroke conversations. We shall be back!

I won these quality plushies. It's really $1 or 1 coin per try. Such amazing staff John and Rigby and clean safe place. Great stress buster . I see people come here and win some cute stuff toys .

This was the first time my boyfriend and I go into the store and we had so much !! Thank you so much to Rigby for the help if I can give her employee of the year I would!! So nice and understanding definitely going back !!

Recently came back and took all my little cousins and grandma and we all had a blast! The kids were so excited to see all the premium plushies. Rigby was the only employee working that day and she was very helpful. The store was pretty packed with other customers and she assisted everyone with patience and grace. Def recommend for all ages.

    Too happy

Came a few times due to my daughters addiction to not only the stuffies but she likes putting the coins in the machines -__-" . We like to come after we walk around the farmers market on Sundays. Out of all the claw machine places we've been to, this location seems the easiest to get dolls!! Believe it or not my nephews got over 15 the last time they went and my husband got a few too. I know some of the other reviews say it's rigged but compared to like Round 1, this kawaii Klaws is way better ! Plus side is, all the plushies are so darn cute! They also have an upgrade program where you can upgrade like 8 plushies for a huge one which we opted to do so our house isn't cluttered with infinite small ones. Something to consider! Alexis is super nice and helpful ! I believe the owner is Adam, he introduced himself to us when they first opened and he was very honest with how everything worked. He even gave my daughter an extra coin! Word on the street is, if you sing the Pokémon theme song to him, he might give you a free coin! we found out he's a huge fan of Pokémon (hence some of the plushies) worth a try right ! I think overall the value is amazing. We always have a great time when we come. My daughter lights up every time she enters the place. It's a good place to kill time when waiting in line for boiling crab or gen bbq which is what we do too Definitely coming back and highly recommend

The experience was standard and on par with other Kawaii Klaw locations. The customer service was friendly. The selection of games was similar size and options as other Kawaii Klaw locations. The value is also similar and affordable, it's best to purchase more credits to get the best value. The only downside of this location is the parking, it can be difficult to find nearby parking. But the street is nice and you can make a day of it by walking around to other locations.

The bigger kids both ended up trading up and getting 2 Pusheens (valued at $28-38 on Amazon) that they said is popular at school. My girls were so happy to get a free try when they ran out of credits. That said, it does work really well as a date spot because there's a lot of co-op games, so you're not just standing there awkwardly -- you actually have something to do. Now the food... I still haven't gone deep into it, but the wing deal is actually a good deal for these times, which is rare. That alone makes it worth pulling up on a Tuesday. I liked this location so much that I had to visit it twice during my trip. I'm not too sure what to do with all the jumbo prizes I won! I will say though, this location has the laziest workers I've ever seen. We asked people to help us several times, and the usual response was "I'll get someone else" or being told to wait for nothing. You have to be extremely proactive and annoying about requesting for help. They're one of the first receivers of the gashapon and they're cute little keychain trinkets or figures, but ultimately I wasn't really interested in any of the random anime IPs.
