Lauren at the front desk is always pleasant and easy to work with when scheduling, rescheduling and emergency appointments. Very short wait time each and every visit and the office is comfortable. My dentAl insurance has changed over the years but Dental Associates is always in my network and in Tricare network for my son.

Absolute Disgusting corporate cookie cutter dental practice. They put profits and up selling a head…read moreof ever thing much like most of the co-op corporate owned practices. Had to leave the dentist I had for years because it was getting expensive and found out I had insurance and my trusted dentist didn't take my insurance. I decided to go with a prominent dentist Dr. Agnaini. Was going to Againi for a year before I found out they lied to me about being in network and lied to about my treatments. Thats when I decided to give this practice a try. I called them explained everything I went thru with the other dentist. This practice assured that they were nothing like my previous dentist. Prior to my visitation I told them what I was wanting and what I expected the told me that what I was asking for was reasonable and wouldn't be a problem. When I arrived I went thru all the standard procedures for a new patient . The problem started with the hygienist(Valerie Davis) I started talking to her about the problem with the other office and she started automatically defending them. I knew that everything was going to go down hill from there. I politely stop talking to her and stated I would address the issue with the dentist. The dentist Dr. Krieg came in the room with a scornful angry looking expression on her face and explained that my front teeth were ground down too much and that they were not going to do anything for me. No cleaning no fillings nothing unless a went to a recommend periodondest. The dentist told me that I had to get the periodontist to fix my teeth before I have even preventive work done. I have already in the past had my front teeth addressed by two other dentist and the had never refused cleaning or refused a filling on a stable tooth. The doctor told me she had a lengthy conversation about it with the hygienist and that was my only option. I immediately got out of the dental chair and went to leave . On the way out the door I asked for record and was ask what was wrong. A really nice and very young woman who identify herself as the office manager ask if I would tell her what was going on so I made a complaint. The poor young girl seemed sincerely concerned but at the same time she seem like she really didn't have the authority to do anything about the bully hygienist and doctor. I was not at the office because I had any mouth problems. My teeth were not sore in any way. I just wanted them cleaned and a filling possible two filling if the front tooth could be done properly. They refused to do any of that unless I went somewhere else and got thousands of dallors of cosmetic procedures done first then they claimed it was because of ethics was the reason they were doing this. This was absolutely disgusting and that is truly the real definition of unethical. I would not recommend this place to anyone you care about. I would also be very weary of all the positive reviews.I would look for the same complaints in the negative reviews because I believe the positive one are bought or placed employee's.

I have found her to be highly skilled and compassionate with a thorough and gentle touch. She always listens to my concerns and takes the time to explain everything to my satisfaction. I've had the occasional filling and the replacement of a failing crown, and she provides the best possible care. My dental hygienist is Shari, and she is the best. She is gentle and thorough at cleaning my teeth. Using a little camera, they can photograph your teeth which allows Maneesha to show you the condition of your teeth and gums. This makes it easy to understand the treatment options she recommends. The office staff are quite friendly, and it is easy to schedule an appointment. They take Humira dental insurance, along with other providers. I have found the staff to be very familiar with the requirements of the dental insurance companies and are willing to contact them on your behalf. This is very helpful, especially if you have ever had to try and contact your dental insurance provider and wait for the next available representative. This is a great relief! I am very satisfied with Doctor Maneesha Chigurupati and the entire staff at Family Dentistry of Lakeland. They create a comfortable and welcoming environment and make every visit a positive and reassuring experience.

I went to Aspen Dental in Lakeland because I needed a front tooth repaired. Instead, I was told I…read moreneeded a periodontal cleaning and a filling, and I was charged $850 upfront. My credit card was billed before I even had the cleaning done. What was confusing is that I have never been told by any previous dentist that I needed a periodontal cleaning. After my insurance was processed I learned that my expected out-of-pocket cost should have been around $350. This left me questioning why I was charged so much in advance and why the costs were not explained more clearly. My experience with the front desk employee, Mel, was also disappointing. I found her to be unprofessional and unhelpful when I tried to get clarification about the charges and insurance adjustments. I went in expecting to have a front tooth fixed, but instead left feeling pressured into additional treatment and frustrated by the billing process. Patients deserve clear explanations, transparency about costs, and professional customer service. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at this office.

My dentist recommened them to me. I was having a bit of aniexty because I'm known to have adverse…read moreeffects from pharmacuticals so this is a nerve wrecking experience for me. I spoke to someone 3xs before coming in due to paying out of pocket. The issue I had with this is she gave me 3 different prices. EVERY time she told me the CT was included with the price for a root canal. I have it written down 3xs. All three times there was a different price listed on the exception of the CT scan. The CT scan and consulation would be a different price if he didn't do the root canal which was fine and it made sense. When I got there she told me the CT scan was an addtional 250 and then some other fee so in short it was going to be 1400. Again another price change. So when I said something she started arguing with me and getting louder. I wasn't trying to argue. I stated the fact that she told me something else previously and then I tried to clarify by repeating what she said. She was very frustrating and even motioned to someone else and when I said "I don't need another person involved I was just clarifying because you gave me three different prices before." She acted like I did something wrong and started talking slower to me as if I'm an idiot. I was just repeating what she said for clarification since I had 3 other prices at home. IN NO WAY did she need to raise her voice or go to stand. In no way or shape or form am I tolerate to these types of behaviors anymore. I use to be and I use to just stand there and take it but the older I get the more it makes me want to punch them in the nose. I won't and wouldn't but I seriously miss the days that if someone behaved poorly you could. When I was taken to the back not only was my aniexty high but I was nervouse, so I chatter. The girl that took me back apologized and was completely unbothered by me. She was super sweet. She showed me the cost but again I think it was more like here let me explain it to you dumbass. Very annoyed at this point and I couldn't wait to leave. I was fine about paying it either way. I just wanted my tooth fixed. Money is always a concern but I have the money. I could have pulled the entire amount out of my savings but with the present virus and all I'm trying to be a bit more mindful since I haven't worked in 3 months now due to it. The dentist was very pleasant. Very professional and had great bed side manner. He explained my crown to me telling me there wasn't anything he can do but seriously I'm not sure why the infection can't be taken care of without pulling my tooth. The only real tooth I've ever had any issues with in 28 years. Its in the back but I'm still rather freaked out on why it can't be fixed and the fact it will have to be pulled. I view losing teeth as a lack of self care and dirty which I take care of myself and my teeth. So I'm really not happy about it but what am I to do? I do realize that is not truly the only case and reason people lose their teeth but never the less. I'll be going back to my dentist in a few weeks. Thankfully I have zero pain.
