We told what we were hoping to do, and her immediate response was "I don't think we can do anything but let me check" and then she came back and told us that they couldn't. Which is fine, however no offer of alternative options and you immediately took the conversation to a negative when you start off with I don't think we can. We went elsewhere and their response was "I will be happy to check and see", and even when they said that it couldn't be resized they gave other options of what could be done. You could have still made a sale, but instead you lost one. Take this as a training opportunity!
