When I asked about the price increase, I was told, "Do you know how much the cost of silver has gone up? It's almost tripled." I found this response passive-aggressive and unprofessional. While I understand that costs can increase, I would have appreciated a clear explanation of pricing before the service was completed and a more respectful interaction. Unfortunately, I didn't have my previous receipt with me at the time, but I knew the cost had changed significantly. That's on me for not questioning it before paying. However, the experience left me disappointed, and I won't be returning. If prices have increased, I recommend seeking a jeweler who is more transparent and customer-focused in how they communicate those changes.

Now fast forward almost 6 months and this is the review I'd like to give for WISE jewelers in Cibolo off of Main Street. Do Not and I mean Do not bring your valued , loved and sentimental jewelry to this location. I have had the worst experience and have been left with nothing but melted gold , loose diamonds and a ring that's been taken apart. I was quoted about 4 months for the owner to redesign my rings and come up with a new band plus 2 extra rings with the smaller diamonds to make the bands. I called in July when it was supposed to be ready and was told they were behind and it would be early August. I then called last week and they said they were finishing up and getting them shined they would be ready by end of week. I never heard from them. So I called yesterday and I kept getting the runaround, so I decided to go up there because who would be able to lie to your face. Well that's exactly what happened. I went in and the lady had said they weren't ready and they were still casting the mold. Which mind you last week I was told they were done. at this point I'm livid and all I want is my rings back. She said she had them in the back and it would take hours for her to get them ready. I said I really hope you haven't melted the gold down already which she had. needless to say I asked for her to get them for me now. That's when she went back and had her assistant come to the front to tell me that the rings were not even in the store. The owner then came back up as I asked for her and was told that nothing had been even started and that the rings were just melted down and not even in started. I asked why she would lie not once but numerous times? She never could give me a valid excuse. So please please do not take your business to this lady. If you can't handle a job don't accept it. I went today and thankfully had my rings but am still left with just loose stones , melted down gold and my grandmothers wedding rings which has all the smaller diamonds missing. Edit to add: it now looks as though I'm missing gold I'm so devastated. Weighed what I had verses what my appraisal was and it's not the same and literally missing an entire band of gold.

She told me that the system takes 2 hours to display orders, and for me to wait for an email. This has never happened with me, and even though I understand, I feel like she just didn't want to look for my order and put it together herself. This really made me irritated that she didn't at least try to find my order even when I could have provided her with an order number. I visited the store website and saw they open at 10:00 am, drove 45 minutes to get there and arrived at 10:05 Despite seeing people working in the store, the representative told me they had to speak with the manager before being allowed to enter. My wife and I sat in the car for 25 minutes while we watched who appeared to be the manager arrive at around 10:15. I attempted to enter the store again and the representative told me to wait a little longer. We waited an additional ten minutes and continued to watch the two workers (one who I perceived to be the manager) walk around and ignore us. After 45 minutes of waiting we decided to leave. I was completely surprised by the nonchalance of turning away a customer who was ready to spend $10-15,000 dollars on a watch. No worries we will take our business else where. We received a recommendation from a friend to try this place. It's very close to our house and very convenient to access off Loop 410, Blanco and San Pedro. The shop is quaint and very well kept. The shop owners met with us as we discussed our jewelry repair and watch battery replacement needs. They were extremely thorough, attentive and explained how the process would go. A couple of weeks later we received notification that our jewelry and watches were ready for pick up. My wife and I were so happy with the repair of an older wedding ring and gold necklace. Absolutely stunning work! The replacement of the watch batteries went very well too and all done at a reasonable price. If you are looking for quality craftsmanship and an excellent customer service experience this is the place to visit. The quality of a clasp on such an expensive bracelet baffles me! I will never buy a Tiffany product again. So disappointed.
