I recently had an "awesome" experience at the Discount Gun Mart in Santee. Initially, I worked with Chandler who provided insight into the changes I should make to my current weapon to comply with all regulations. After parts arrived, Jared was able to explain the intricacies of CA laws regarding "AR type" rifles. Between the two of them, their knowledge of firearms and CA regulations allowed me to make purchasing decisions that ensured that my rifle met all legal requirements in CA. If you have any questions about legality of specific rifles or types of rifles (black powder vs standard cartridges), I would recommend a stop by Discount Guns on a weekday when they're not busy.
