We found Performance Archery and their 1-hour intro lesson for $40 per person. Pretty fair deal. Me, my wife, and both our boys all tried compound bows. It was a tiring but fun afternoon. The next day, me and my wife definitely felt some muscles we do not use often. LOL. Our instructor, Todd, was very helpful and encouraging. He explained what we, as complete newbies, needed to know without making it confusing. Safety, stance, how to hold the bow, how to aim, and how to release. Just enough to get us started and actually enjoy it. He also gave a lot of praise to my youngest son, who showed some real potential. It was his first time ever shooting a bow, and he hit yellow at 10 yards. Beginner's luck? Maybe once. But he kept hitting yellow again and again. Because of that, I asked my youngest, who is 15, if he wanted to continue with archery and see where it goes. He said yes, so we ended up getting him a package that should last him a few years: an Elite Archery Basin RTS, a release, arrows, and a bag. He was super happy. The staff was also very helpful in setting up the bow for him. They adjusted the draw length, draw weight, and peep sight, and made sure it fit him properly. The only sad part is that this place is far from home. I checked Yelp reviews for places closer to us, and honestly, they do not look as encouraging. Overall, this was a really good afternoon. For $40 per person, the intro lesson was worth it. Fun, educational, beginner-friendly, and maybe even the start of a new hobby for my son.

I also appreciated the guidance during my first time here because it's so easy to feel intimidated and to not know where to even begin when it comes to activities like archery. I first started gaining interest when I went on a camping trip a while ago, so it's nice knowing that there's a spot nearby where I can practice with rental services (and with good company) on my own time.

If you knock down all 30 targets you can win a prize like at an amusement park or fair so it's a nice bonus. The Airsoft weapons seem fairly accurate and of good quality. They have eye protection, hand sanitizer and also plexiglass between each lane so you can distance a little bit, protect your eyes, and let your hands stay clean in these covid times. If you've got a little time on your hands waiting for someone else to finish shopping, this is the place to be. If anything, it's a fun way to test your skills on an Airsoft rifle. I've gone twice now and we had fun! ________TL;DR_______ PROS: it's fun, seems quite safe, and if you do well you can win a prize. You can take as long as you like to line up your shot. CONS: price is a little high for basically firing an Airsoft rifle at targets, and they increased their price from a month ago. BOTTOM LINE: a good way to spend a little time if you're waiting at the mall and fun to hit those targets. Would be nice to see them go back to $10 , and definitely hope prices don't go up next month.

They have about six lanes and all the guns are air rifles that look pretty real. You get about fifty pellets for about eleven dollars. Here's a tip take your time shooting because fifty goes real quick. This would be a great place to take someone who is a new shooter. Overall this is a great alternative to a real shooting range.

I purchased a shotgun through their website based on the advertised price and availability, only to discover afterward that the pricing was incorrect and the firearm was not actually available as represented. Feels like a SCAM to get you trapped into purchasing from them only, because you can't ask for a refund, they force you to get in store credit. I went into the store to ask for an update and instead of honoring the advertised price or providing a full refund, I was told that due to a "new website" and "new purchasing system," they could only offer in-store credit. From a customer's perspective, that explanation is not acceptable. Businesses are responsible for ensuring that their advertised pricing and inventory information are accurate. Customers should not be expected to bear the consequences of internal system issues. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that I wanted to give you guys a second chance. I canceled my online order, took the in-store credit, ended up paying more money and tried to get a shotgun that was ordered in store from "their warehouse/supplier." I have been waiting more than two weeks for any meaningful update regarding my order. At the store, I was told by their retail worker Carson that it would be ordered without too long of a wait. After two weeks wait, I called in to check and was informed that the firearm is considered a special order and must first be ordered from a supplier, despite the website indicating a delivery timeframe of only 4-5 days and showing available in warehouse as I checked on their website (removed now after I told them about this issue, see attached photos). I have attached other prices that were listed on their website as well. This is false advertising/misleading prices to gain in store credit customers. The repeated explanation has been that their new processing and computer system prevents them from providing updates. Had I known that the firearm was not actually in stock and that there was no reliable timeline for delivery, I would not have made the purchase. Sportsman's Warehouse doesn't have these issues. I wanted to go to a place closer to home and give you guys a try, but I regret that now. Taking payment for a product advertised at an incorrect price, offering only store credit instead of a refund, and being unable to provide order status information for weeks creates a very poor customer experience. At this point, a full refund would be the appropriate resolution. I hope management addresses these issues, improves communication, and ensures that website pricing, inventory status, and delivery estimates accurately reflect reality so future customers do not experience the same problems.
