I've gotten so many compliments and I can leave my house with no makeup (maybe just a little under-eye concealer) and look put together. Definitely a confidence booster! I got mine done 4 days ago on a Wednesday and this is how it went: Thursday at work: Female co-worker #1: "wow, look at your eyes- did you do something different? Me: "mmm, no. I just used mascara. What? Does it not look natural? Is it too much?" (i normally don't wear a lot of makeup) Female co-worker #1: "no, no, no, It looks very nice, i love it -- it gives you a pop! You hardly ever wear makeup and i love this" Me: "Eye lash extensions ;)" Female co-worker #1: "Omg, i gotta try that, blah, blah, blah" Female co-worker #2: we are talking by the coffee machine for like 5 minutes and all of sudden: "OMG you got lash extensions didn't you!!" me: "huh?" Female co-worker #2: "Yeah I know because my sister gets them done and she's been trying to get me to do them. I love them! you look awesome - maybe i'll try it one of these days" Male co-worker: comes over to chat and all of sudden "What did you do different? Did you do your hair? it looks nice" Me: "LOL" Friday: I asked my boyfriend, do you notice anything different? and he says no. Saturday: I was wearing no makeup and cuddling with my boyfriend and he was like "you are so pretty" --- I batted my lashes at him but he still didn't notice lol. The funny thing is that we were watching Coco and Ice and then the Khloe and Lamar - and for the first time I noticed that all these females on tv, the kardashians and all of them wear lash extensions. there's no way they are natural. Today - Sunday: mom looks at me and says wow you lashes are nice and long. Me: "Yeah mom, I've been using these oils and they grew lol" Mom: looks at me stunned like she wants the secret Me: lol "ok mom lash extensions, you want to try them?" lol o that reminds me, let me write a review. Tanya was my tech and she was very communicative, walking me through the entire process. She told me it can take up to an hour or sometimes longer and that i can take a little nap or ask any questions to help time pass by quickly. The procedure is not painful at all and although it took about an hour, time pass by very quickly as we were chatting most of the time - I had a lot of questions. She told me how to take care of my lashes and gave me a tips sheet to take home. In our chat learned that she started her business on Facebook as a home business and it was so successful that she opened up this lovely lash studio in Union Square. That to me is always a good sign. I highly recommend this business whether this is your first time and you haven't quite dared to let a chinese or Korean salon do it or whether you've done them before and are looking to try a different place.

They asked some basic information such as if habits of makeup, shapes of eyes to determine and suggest what kind of eyelashes style is suitable for individual customers. So I quickly decided start from natural eye-lash style first. The room is nice and cozy with a big window that decorated with sheer curtain. When I lay down, my lash-technician Vicky asked me if I am get allergy easily and what should I be aware during the lash extension process. The product that they use is gentle on eyes so I didn't feel irritated at all. The process is roughly taking 2 hours so it's perfect to have a nap that sleep on the bed and leaves the cellphone away. Its literally the experience of beauty sleep and makes me think of the song by Beyoncé "I woke up like this". The whole time, she was gentle on me from playing classic music and whispering to explaining what is going to happen in next two hours because my eyes were taped so I have to rely on her skill and her sense of aesthetic that achieve the result to makes each customer feels beautiful in their own way. I am so glad she smells great from hand to breath makes me appreciated more when it comes to personal services like this. After an hour or so, I was surfing outside of space because the process was so gentle and I feel my soul already surfing in the galaxy. I woke up in a sudden because I hear my own snoring. I feel embarrassed but Vicky says she is happily to see customers to fall asleep because that it's a sign of customers feels trust and comfortable. When I woke up from the nap, I was astonished by the result when I looked at in the mirror. I have never seen my eye-lashes so beautiful in a natural way. It is the result can't be achieved by mascara (It will smear after few hours) nor conventional glued on lashes (It looks fake because of the string attached on the root of lashes if without eye-liner to be covered on eye-makeup) that we use commonly from pharmacies. She is very skilled, applies my lashes within an hour and they always shape my eyes nicely. I've gotten compliments from it. I booked my appointment and I was super excited to get my lashes for the very 2nd time in my life! My appointment was at 2:30PM and I made sure to be there 15-20 mins before. I arrived at 2:10 and had no clue where to go 2 employees just pointed towards the back once I found the proper door I went down. Since I was there early I waited for 10 mins at them knocked the door, got no answer so I waited till 2:30 which was my appt time and knocked again and at this point I heard her say "just wait on the couch" ok no problem. She was running late with the client before which didn't matter to me since I'm a patient person I just wanted to make sure I wasn't late. At 2:45 Gisselle called out for me to come in. This room was like a sauna and I guess due to that Gisselle was half naked. Short biker shorts and a sports bra all I thought was okay I guess she feels like she's at home. I said hi and introduced myself and asked If I could put my stuff on a chair she had. she just replied yeah, no introduction nothing. She asked me what kind I wanted and I told her and that was the end of our talking. I thought she is probably shy Definitely need to open up because this is a business and people want to feel like she cares. 1hr later lashes done and they look great. When I got home I already had lashes that fell on my cheek. I thought ok normal no big deal. 2 days later i traveled and on the 3rd day half of the lashes were gone 4th day almost nothing at this point I'm pissed 5th day I reached out to her and sent her a video, she asked me to go in on a holiday but it was just so difficult for me to get there since my kid was out of school. Needless to say I did not go back and will never go back. Waste of money.
