Haircut was simple and done great. Shave was even better...hot towel to begin then trimming before the shave. A straight razor was used with cooling sensation from products applied to skin. Really great attention to detail...lined up the sides and neck portion of goatee plus the gaps near bottom lip. Cool water shampoo and finished appointment. Well worth it. He's very informative about his community and neighbors. He stays booked out two months, but I'm so happy I was able to get in on a last minute cancellation. He and his partner also have attached to the salon a juice/smoothie bar as well as a yoga studio. They also have a pet grooming business in town in which also offers hand made pet treats. The salon holds a very expansive selection of hair care and makeup products from Aveda. I was able to meet his lovely esthetician who came out to offer a nice hand massage while I waited on my color. There is also a very cute courtyard in behind the salon to enjoy your juice or smoothie. I really loved the Asian combs he has on display and the story he told about how his friends had collected them and I would highly recommend Scott for your hair needs or just stop by for some juice and a snack for your best friend. That horrendous haircut was the first that I had gotten in the San Antonio area since we moved down here last year. I thought I could just live with it, but I like to go six months between haircuts and there was no way I was going let myself continue to look like I did for 4.5 more months. The salon is located in a tranquil area just off the beaten path but close to 35. The decor is modern and it's very clean. The vibe inside the salon is also very peaceful. Paul was very professional, listened to my complaints, offered good feedback, and gave me the face framing angles I was looking for. Then, he gave me a nice style so I could go home with an extra special look that my husband wouldn't be able to miss. The color I got from the other salon was (is) also a mess, and Paul offered his opinions about my next steps. I believe I will return soon to get my color corrected. I have to also add that when I got home from the salon, my husband commented on how amazing my hair looked perhaps three times in the first hour. I've been home for several hours now, and he is still pausing to look at me, smile, and compliment. Thank you, Paul!
