I paid $375 for nothing. I told the stylist there was zero difference and she gaslit me and said I needed to stand in the sun/ different lighting to see the difference. For $375 I shouldn't need better lighting. I contacted the manager via email and returned a voicemail 3x with no resolution/ call back. I asked for a partial refund because I love the cut but the color is NO difference. The stylist also said I needed multiple sessions but that was NEVER said at the consult. Again, $375 is a lot for no change. She said that my inspo was Ai but I also sent her her own work as inspo. Attached is the inspo, the before, part of the consult and the results. After finding this salon on Yelp!, I was really happy to be able to book an appointment for the next day and chose Devon off of rave reviews that I saw in the booking app. The salon is beautiful and clean, and Devon's area was also clean. She was welcoming, friendly, and quickly put me at ease when I explained what I wanted. I last had a balayage out of state 7 months ago and no toning sessions in between. Devon was easy to talk to throughout the entire process. She was honest when the color wasn't quite popping enough after the wash and asked if it would be okay if she took a little longer to get the color I wanted. I have long, thick natural hair that I maintain carefully and came in for a simple trim and blow-dry as a pick-me-up. I left with the worst blow-dry I've ever had. My hair has never felt this rough or looked this lifeless and flat after a professional service. My stylist, Adi, repeatedly dragged a brush through tangled, wet hair from the top down instead of detangling gently from the ends first, which is standard, widely accepted practice to minimize damage. When I said it felt rough and I was worried about damage, my concerns were dismissed. At one point, a white hair was pointed out and reacted to in a way that felt more like something quirky to laugh at than something to handle respectfully. There is a big difference between supportive conversation about natural greying and making it into a moment. I did not come in to have signs of aging spotlighted. I came in for maintenance and a pick-me-up. The shampoo was shockingly bad. Normally I wish that part would last forever and I am in heaven, but this felt unpleasant and "against the grain." During the blow-dry, an extremely hot dryer was used under high tension and close to the scalp, which left my head sore, and my hair looking and feeling like scraggly sticky straw. The sticky products used would not even wash out later, and no care seemed to be given to my hair type in product selection or technique. I have had plenty of blowouts and have never had this problem. I went home and cried afterward and lost sleep. My self-confidence took a real hit, and I have since had to spend additional time and money trying to rehab my hair from this service. Nothing like this has ever happened to me after a salon visit. The whole place had a fakely luxury vibe and the floor vac smelled like nasty hot keratin dust. I showed up clean after a full day of work and did not feel welcome as someone who showed up dressed "plain" and who values maintaining natural hair. Honestly, this place should be renamed the "Chop N' Fry," because zero bliss was involved and I walked out feeling less beautiful. If you value gentle handling and a respectful consultation, this was not it. read more

I call to ask about price on women's hair cut.. Girl who picks up the phone "its going to be $110" I asked if that was the starting price or if it differs with stylist level she just rudely said "its going to be $110" ok. First off, $110 for a normal HAIRCUT?! They better be shampooing the client's hairs with unicorn blood. My daughter and I went here for haircuts on April 16, 2024. I was paired up with Jasmine who knew I had curly hair because she and I talked about it yet when she blow dried my hair and styled it with the curling rod she didn't use any product in it at all and before I even walked out the door, it frizzed right up and looked horrible and cost $110 plus tip! My daughter had Gilbert I believe and he cut off way more than she asked and didn't cut it evenly, which cost $120 plus tip. I called and talked with Sylvia and she told me to let her know when I came in next time for a haircut and she'd give me a little surprise and she offered to re-cut my daughters hair, but I don't believe I'll be going back. They are extremely overpriced for the services that they offer and their stylist aren't that great, you can literally go to great clips and get the same haircut for a fraction of the price. read more

I must say that it is very difficult to find the right salon for my hair type. But after 3 salons I've tried, Purebliss nailed it! They really do take the time to help restore your hair and know exactly what to do. They have a great website to book your appointment, staff is friendly, the salon is clean, and just from the pictures they have on their Instagram, you can tell that they know what they are doing from the end result. I came here with dry, brassy hair and Sylvia was able to bring it back to life - I am so happy with the result!
