They had a rather busy day and told me I would have to pick it up the next day, but I told them my situation and they were able to squeeze me in for their priority list, I did wait a few hours but that was fine because I would wait as long as I have to get it back that same day. And I was expecting a long wait but they were able to fix it in a few hours. I took it to Computer Doctors for repair. Shawn did a great job of changing out both parts and was done the same afternoon. It wasn't his fault but the new charging port card was faulty in that the fingerprint sensor wasn't functioning after the replacement. I ordered another one (overnighted) in case he didn't have an extra and went back right away. He opened up the phone and checked the connection as I stood and watched and then checked 2 other replacement parts of the same type and also the one I ordered and brought in. All were faulty from the factory or at least incompatible with the fingerprint sensor. We know this to be true because he saved the part he took out last week (amazingly) and put it back in and the fingerprint sensor now works again. He did this extra work for free right then and there. He also only charged for one of the repairs since he was going to have the phone opened anyway. Bottom line - he did a great job, was prompt, nice, and insisted on doing everything possible to fix my phone even though Samsung has made that not viable but that's Samsung's fault. He did bring it to my attention that my phone has wireless charging and sold me a puck style charger for the low price of $20. It works great. The new battery holds a charge all day now. Anyway - I'm good to go for a few more years. I highly endorse Computer Doctors if you have any computer or phone repair problems. They have been in the same location for over 20 years and will go above and beyond the call of duty to solve your problem.

I am so thankful that we found this place! The manager Shawn helped my son with the explanation of repairs needed and costs. I stopped by to discuss the MacBook and Shawn was very informed and kind. Sometimes talking tech is uncomfortable but this was easy! I asked him for a few options of what I could do to cut cost and he ran them all for me... so I could make the best decision. The work will be done pretty quickly 2-3 day turn around. They sell refurbished computers, work on cell phones, fix items for electronic stores, and work on gaming systems. And if you did have a problem, Dish was always responsive and willing to adjust my bill if I had problems. Also, when rates increased, as they did regularly, the CS people would work with you to find a plan that was affordable. All of that has changed. Actually getting thru the mindless questions from an AI generated app, to speak with a human is quite the challenge! And when you finally Do get a person, they are in India I believe, and sometimes difficult to understand and impossible to get your questions asked because the conversations are scripted and if you don't follow their script, you get nothing. Today my service was cut off because I had an outstanding balance. Paid it via phone and was told service back on in 15 minutes. Four hours later I turn on the TV and nothing. Restarted the whole system, but still no picture or sound. After being on the phone for an hour, I finally got a signal but no Guide to see what's on! Tech had me plugging and unplugging everything, and generally trouble shooting for an hour! All in all, I would say Dish Network is definitely not the company it once was. their prices are high and go up continuously, the customer service needs to be completely revamped, and moved back to the US, and if they want to stay in business, they had better take a hard look at exactly what they are providing for $130 per month, that we can't get somewhere else!!
