My dad bought used cars here for years and we bought a used vehicle for our grandson last year…read more The car has been great and the service is outstanding! The salesperson was not pushy and the process did not take long - especially compared with other dealers. Even thought it was a few years old, they washed and vacuumed it and filled the tank with gas. Class act all the way!

When we got there the first thing we told the salesman was we were in the market for a new or used vehicle in about 3 months or so. He asked me where I worked and I told him I worked at a cooking oil process facility and a printing company. I intentionally neglected to mention that I worked at a Toyota Mazda dealership for 3 years and my brother-in-law was also used car salesman for 15 years. I know the ins-and-outs of the used car business but I didn't want him to know that. First we took a new vehicle out for a test drive it was a Mitsubishi Outlander. And we told him that we were also interested in a Toyota RAV4. And he had a used one on the lot and we took it out for a test drive. That's when my wife decided that she liked the Toyota RAV4. So when we got back he asked us about our car that we had. It was a 2006 Ford Focus we've had since new. I told him it was approaching 100,000 miles and that's when he said "once a car hit 100,000 miles the value droppes dramatically". I was wondering what BS line he was going to give us to screw us out of money on a trade in. That line goes back to the mid-1990s. So we went test drove a new Toyota RAV4. And we eventually bought a 2015 RAV4 out of town. Low miles great price. I think people are sick and tired of the old ways of buying a vehicle and especially with the trade in BS they tell you so they won't give you much money on a trade in.

After calling them and asking if they could legally sell a truck that was not in compliance with Texas law ,they said they didn't have to tell the customer anything about the windshield being too dark. He had to have a complete new windshield installed and the ticket still could not be dismissed as apparently this same truck had been stopped before for the tint. The dealership didn't care and said they weren't responsible.

So all together I paid almost 13000.00 after all of this. I tried to get help, but they just ignored me. I have now had to purchase another vehicle because the one they sold me was full of issues. Then I take it back to them to buy it back. He made a deal with me for $3300.00. and told me I would have to drive to Abilene to get a copy of my title because the ink was light on my address. So I did just that and brought it up to the owner. I wasnt able to bring my male cousin up with my this last time, and he completely screwed me. Telling me that it was going to cost 1500 to fix. That was an absolute lie! I took it to a very reputable mechanic and he said it would be 700 to fix. Then this little long haired punk decides to start laughing at me because I am getting screwed yet again from this place. Now he has it right back for sale for the 8995.00. They are major thief's and should be ashamed of the way they rip people off! And it was the owner who did this.

I have taken my Acadia in for regular oil changes and they always ask if there is anything else to check while the car is there and they always rotate the tires as well. I had to take it in once for a problem with the rear a/c. They got it fixed; however, it then developed a noise in the fan. I took it right back in; they took care of that issue without delay and were apologetic that I had to come back in. I would especially like to recognize Gwen, who goes beyond in customer satisfaction, and Micheal, who has shuttled me back two times now to get my car after being serviced. He is very friendly, easy to visit with while driving to the dealership. Thank you all for the service you provide!

When I went to purchase a vehicle, I had the best service ever from Sergio, the Carfather helping me, he and his team, worked diligently to help me find and get the vehicle I was happy with. It was a slightly used vehicle that needed a few things, including some service that was due and they said they would take care of everything, they did not, I waited over 2 weeks to get started on getting the service done, I had told them the vehicle did not have a jack, in case of a flat tire, they said they would get that as well! After 2 months, I still have not received service or missing items from them, in fact never heard back from anyone when I told them I feel like they made the sale and that seems to be all they care about! Was hoping things would have worked out better but they did not, so just beware, they do NOT follow through on their word! There are many dealerships in this area, I'm beginning to see why folks travel to other places to buy vehicles, customer service is important and sadly, Mitchell GMC doesn't live up to their promises!
