I took my mom to this salon after reviewing these entire eye catching 5 star reviews. SHE knows these reviews have everything to do with people falling for her scam... These awesome reviews were the first thing Luz and her daughter mentioned for us to trust her expertise. I am sure friends and family are being used as tools to attract customers. My mom's hair was ash blonde and we wanted her to get as close as possible to light silver highlights on a brownish base. Luz recommended a "vitamin treatment" before coloring to protect her hair from getting damaged because it was dry, she mentioned she didn't use any bleach and she would never promise or do anything that would leave mom's hair worse. We agreed to her recommendation, cost was $326 plus a tip I regret adding. (Took 3 hours to get the treatment applied) Mom went back two days after to get the treatment washed out and for Luz to give her color and style. We showed pictures of what we wanted and she said she was sure she could get pretty close to that. Second day, we asked NOT TO CUT HER HAIR. My mom was exposed not only to bleach and an unwanted haircut, but also took 7 long hours of playing with bleach and different colors to get to a very dark color that is nothing close to what we expected. She came home with a blouse all stained, a dry and burnt scalp, burnt earlobe, and she was told not to wash for a week or two. She almost fainted when not only her hair was the total opposite of what she wanted, but was also ripped off another $490 for that service. My mom cried for 2 days and cries every time she looks at herself in the mirror. There was another client there on the second day complaining about Luz cutting hair she wasn't asked to cut and giving a lady a color she didn't want. IF YOU CAN'T DO IT, DON'T EVEN TRY PLAYING WITH PEOPLE'S LIVES! Some people are going through tougher times than others, and this is definitely affecting my mom's wellbeing.

I had never been there before and figured I would try the place out and my hair dresser pulled me aside and said the roots were an inch too long and that they had to use THREE times as much product (which mathematically doesn't even add up) so she insisted I pay an extra $15. She told me that toner would be an extra $35 even though that should be included when you get your roots done because how else does hair get colored? I told her it doesn't make sense to charge me extra for hair color but she said because it's a Groupon they charge for it. She left my hair orange in the back bc I didn't want to pay and extra $50 for a Groupon that should've been all inclusive. She was so rough and ripped my hair as she was brushing it and tore pieces apart as she was sectioning pieces to color and now the top of my head has stray hairs sticking out although I asked her to be gentle. She didn't use any foil like everyone else in the salon used and is standard when coloring hair. I asked her to use a little extra oil because my hair was so damaged and she rushed me to the counter and refused. I asked her to cut an inch off my hair and she just did whatever she pleased and cut off about 3 inch. She also stood there watching me as I paid. As I was leaving, the front desk lady asked my stylist if maybe I needed a small sample of shampoo because my hair was so brittle and my stylist said no. Don't offer Groupon if you are going to treat your customers like crap for getting a deal. I come here for vacation fairly often and wanted to find a hair dresser in the area and the purpose of Groupon is to bring new business to your company and I will never ever come back.
