it's been maybe 15 years since my last pedicure, so i was well over due. i was a long time client of KC Nails around 2010 when my nana was a regular, but since my last visit they've remodeled and changed ownership. There's really no vibe of the salon anymore, two TV's you can't hear, no music, little conversation, kinda just meh. Made my appointment for 12, but wasn't seen until closer to 12:30 (~15 min of soaking my feel, ~15 min of sitting). the service itself it was nice, but nothing over the top. $50 for a deluxe pedicure isn't too bad for this economy. read more

I went and showed them the picture of the nails I wanted and the lady was able to do exactly the picture she was very sweet I didn't catch her name but I would go back. I am here visiting out of town with family and decided to do this last minute and she did amazing! Very nice inside and you can tell they love the regular costumers that come there. read more

KC Nails is SO clean! I have been in search of a clean nail salon! It seems like is would be simple and easy to find a clean place. I was beginning to think it was impossible. KC also has the nicest high quality and clean pedicure chairs I have found in Noblesville! I've been to at least 7 salons all in Noblesville. One place had red ripped leather covered in red duct tape! They offered me a seat, I walked out. I was not about to sit in an electric chair ripped open covered with duct tape and put my feet in water! Lol! It's located at HTC- unbelievable. KC was so great- Anna did my pedicure she was SO detailed and cut my toes nails short which is what I wanted and I didn't have to tell her to keep cutting she did it. She first person to make my feet look this good master at removing dead skin. Jenny did my nails did a great job. KC nails was basically perfection. I'm a very picky person and I bleed easily! I told them up front my concerns. They addressed all my concerns VERY kindly with a smile. There was no dirty looks or looks of annoyance they made sure I felt comfortable and they made sure I was happy with the services. They are very kind and made me feel comfortable too. read more

A wonderful salon. I made an appointment online easily for Saturday at 10am. I expected them to be packed however they had a nice steady flow of customers. The salon was quiet, clean, with a relaxing atmosphere. I got gel polish with an almond shape and a matte finish for $38. I think that's an incredibly fair price considering I've paid twice as much for manicures that weren't half as good. I will definitely be coming back! read more

The nail technicians are rude and you never have the same tech for your service so you end up tipping everyone

This nail salon is not at all sanitary and their practices put clients at serious risk. I have witnessed the shop only rinsing tools between clients in the client hand sink. I have never once seen the autoclave in use or clean tools being pulled from it. All toe separators, nail and foot files and rasps are dirty and reused over and over! I've never seen a more shocking and blatant disregard for state regulations and I did report this salon to the cosmetology board. Further, do not expect to have the appointment you made ahead of time honored. It is standard practice at KC nails to wait up to an hour to be seen, to have your appointment rushed, and worse still to have 3 to 4 different nails technicians working on your nails. There is no consistency and they do not value your health or your time. I do not recommend. read more

this is the first time i chose to get my nails done in forever since i dont often have a good experience, they cost more, and i can do them myself at home anyways, i also have anxiety and just don't like nail salons usually. i chose this place since i trusted the more recent reviews and it seemed like a quality place. i drew what i wanted the night before and i was careful to do my best to make it understandable and a good example of what i wanted on top of a few reference pictures for each nail. when i got here i asked the man who i think runs the place if someone was able to do these nails and that if not its totally fine, as i drew and found multiple other easy backups and was totally down to do a single color gel acrylic set if they couldn't do what i wanted. but without hesitation he said they could, and instead of the $54 booking price it'd be $100. my boyfriend and i agreed that was fine and sat down. there was a lot of back and forth, questions, corrections, misunderstanding and confusion while getting my nails done. my tech repeatedly got my fingers mixed up and could not seem to understand how to do many of the designs i wanted to do. the bat is the worst which is what makes me most upset. you can see the ref image i had and what i drew which i showed her and explained multiple times as well as my boyfriend trying but you can see what i ended up with; which she put top coat over right before she asked me if everything looked ok to finish. the clown faces also aren't what they're supposed to be at all, and overall im just not happy with the design, especially for $100; but that's not even my main issue with this place. when we checked out with the results i had, my boyfriend confirmed the price and talked with the receptionist about how he didn't think it should be $100 since the manager said they could do them and they clearly can't. she then asked me if i felt bad for the nail tech (no shit, but my boyfriend worked 8 hours to make the money you're asking for, and she's working less than 2 to make that same money while clearly not having her license for it or enough experience either) i told her i do feel bad which is why i still tipped our tech, and thankfully the receptionist only charged us $70 right before she stomped off sighing without saying a word to us even though i tried to thank her 5 times. i would've been totally ok if my tech had started doing the nails and decided it was out of her range, and would've 100% worked with her. i work in hospitality and customer service and do a lot of beauty related work as well, so i understand and am totally down to communicate and work with people. it was just a very frustrating, stressful, and upsetting situation that my boyfriend spent $70 on and i'm going to have to go out and buy gel polish and a lamp to fix these with. all respect to the nail tech because she seemed to try her best and the actual structure of the nails are really well done and she was pretty fast. read more

I told the man doing my pedicure that I wanted gel polish, he gave me regular then disappeared and someone else finished when I said something about it. I was never given a menu or list of prices. Other than color, my feet looked the same as they did when I walked in because my heels weren't properly exfoliated I had to ask for it do be done a little better, only for staff to scoff and get huffy. I made an appointment and showed staff what I wanted but I was asked NUMEROUS TIMES to come back "Sunday or Monday" to finish my bedazzled design. I repeatedly declined and said no, I have plans and no I have a baby sitter now. I got a pedicure and dip- I was in the shop about 3.5 hours because nobody soaked my nails while my pedicure was being done. Didn't get jewels on my finger nails. One of my nails was visibly crooked (one still is) but Henry fixed one of them and kept calling me picky. My daughters and I went there to get the basic mani/pedi for a wedding. We wanted basic polish. The polish color I picked out was old. When she painted my nails air bubbles formed in the polish as it was drying making it look like it was smeared. I asked for it to be redone. She wanted to give me an excuse as to why it was doing that. When she redid it the polish did the same thing. I asked if the polish was old she ignored my question and acted like it was normal. The polish was gummy and the next day it was peeling off in chunks. The technician that did my daughter's nails did not buff, smooth, or file the edges of her nails. They were very rough. I paid well over $100 to get our nails done that day. The new technicians are careless. I do not recommend. read more

I feel like I was "punished" for not taking their suggestion of a powder dip manicure and sticking with traditional polish The woman who did my nails did not interact with me whatsoever and applied the polish SO THICK that it would have taken a lot longer than 10 mins under the dryer to cure/set. I have gone to this place twice. I had two different gentlemen doing my pedicure each time and they both did a really great job. The lady, on the other hand, who sits at the first chair is extremely rough, and literally cuts into my flesh when she's filing the sides of my fingernails. Because of the unnecessary fingernail blood draw and resulting pain, I will not be going here again. The nails have the best longevity, they don't lift or break easily they way they do when I have been other places. The wait at KC is crazy sometimes but they are great at what they do, and in town it's worth the wait for a consistant acrylic fill.
