I was told they would be online for buy by end of day on Monday. Check every day that week and called and they still weren't for sale online by Friday. I asked "why can't I just go in and buy the mags" and they said that's not how it works you have to wait for them to go online. As far as I l know they never listed the mags they probably just sold them in store to someone else. Never met a store that didn't want to sell something.

I couldn't care about someone's manor. What does bothers me is I had them work on my bow and they put the wrong string on and charged me 160 bucks. Then i went elsewhere to fix that issue and noticed they shortened my draw from a 29.5 to a 27.5 draw. Why on earth would you guys do that. Cost me another 180 bucks to fix. Getting 3 stars because they are good men and I do think they have a good hunting store but they have really went down hill quality wise with this one. They also do have a wide selection of bows and firearms. I think there are better shops in the area price wise but I'm very disappointed in this bow issue.

I will drive another 15 minutes to Tombstone trading post which is better (but some of their employees also have the "attitude". The guys behind the counter are very professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming to everyone walking through the front door. I've been to smaller shops and larger ones; I'd say that there's a good chance they can steer a customer in the right direction with stock on-hand, and absolutely will order from their distributor anything they don't. There's also a selection of used (yellow tag) items for sale, as well as consignment items (green tag) for sale as well. Like most gun store owners, they're a bit wary of new customers coming through the door, but after you get to know them, they will absolutely be there for you with any advice and help to make sure you're satisfied and safe. Really appreciate having a store like this, unlike some others in Connecticut that make you feel like you're doing them a favor being a customer. No range on the premises, there are some nearby such as Wolf's (which gets my thumbs up) where you can try out before you buy.

Absolutely disgusting experience with this place! At first I had high hopes because this is also…read morethe place where I took my test to get my LTC. Seemed friendly enough and decent retail section. I went back to get my first firearm and my application came back and they said they had to put a four-day hold before I could purchase the firearm. They tried to insist that I give them the money and purchase the firearm and just wait for the hold to be lifted and I refused. So I left. Went back yesterday to try to get my first firearm and went through the whole process again and this time they insisted I buy the firearm first and then sent my application through just for it to come back denied again! I immediately asked for my refund back because I'm not giving you money for something that I cannot take home with me. He handed me and appeals form and said go file an appeal and when you find out why you were denied then you can come back and we can just finish the process and you can have your firearm. I told him three times that I wanted a refund right then and there and he gave me three different reasons why it was in my best interest to just keep the purchase as is and continue with the appeals process. Then I get home and try to start the appeals process on the website for the FBI and was told that I had to obtain fingerprint cards and send them to the FBI and wait for them to be processed and then they sent me to another web page asking me for a fee to pay for processing etc etc etc. Well I completely got lost and ask them if they would help me with the appeals process and I called my local police department to ask if one of the clerks in the clerk's office could help me and they all said no. The website also told me that the appeals process could take months! Furious and disgusted at this point I went back in the following day to get a full refund and the same guy that waited on me the day before, Zack, insisted that he could not give me my refund back today because the two ladies that work in the office were no call no shows and never showed up for work. I said well there has to be a manager on duty or somebody that can process my refund. He still refused to give me my refund claiming he would take care of me next Tuesday. I told him that's not the law and that he has to give me my refund now. When he saw that I was getting upset he told me to shut up and that all of a sudden magically the lady that was a no call no show for work that day all the sudden appeared and told her to go cut me a check for my refund! I told him I paid cash and I expected cash in return. He refused to give me cash and eventually after several minutes appeared with a check and nodded for me to start walking outside with him. And as we exited the front door he told me to get out of his establishment and don't ever step foot on his effing property again. So I left. And as I was leaving he thought he was going to start lecturing me about how he was right and I was in the wrong. I did not stop to listen I walked away. Absolutely unprofessional and disgusting behavior and I believe it's a scam on their behalf to get people to give them their money and not give them anything in return.
