I was a bit skeptical about reserving this shuttle service because of the previous reviews, looking at the length of time it's been since one was made, I took my chances. I was very impressed with my drivers show of professionalism, punctuality, and absolute kindness throughout my trip. Honestly, call a different service. An airport taxi or SuperShuttle is worth the additional money for the trek to the airport. My friend called and booked 1 (ONE) ticket for her son and the charge was $85.00. They never showed up to actually pick him up, and on top of that they charged her for 10 (TEN) rides - $850 deducted from her debit card. Upon calling, the management/employees: - took over 40 mins to take her off hold - refused to refund her - insisted they picked up her son and then figured out that they did indeed cancel the full ride and did not pick up anyone - said the charge is valid - said the charge (which is evident in the bank account) was not due to them so basically, never book with this company unless you want to never get to the airport and give away your money. read more

This is the absolute most awful company I have ever interacted with. It leaves me speechless to think that they are still in operation. They did NOT pick me up at the airport after I paid for their services. They were impossible to get a hold of and they did not care that they had not picked me up. I was stranded and ended up having to rent a car to get home that night (2 hour drive from MCI) and having a family member follow me back to return the car the next day after I finished my commitments. Not only did they NOT show up at the airport after I paid for their services, but they repeatedly keep charging our credit card to this very day. At this time they have charged our credit card $1500. They blocked my phone calls and blocked me on their live chat customer service portal (through zendesk). Because I had a flight to catch, I had no other choice than to call a Lyft, which was $177 (including tip). I tried calling another 5-10 times and like clockwork, no answer. When I finally got in touch by someone by using my computer instead of my phone, I asked to get a managers name and direct number several times. He would not provide it. Then another man came on the phone and after asking three times, he told me his name was Mark (that is likely untrue, and more likely, the crooks alias). I was then told I was going to be refunded and that an email for the credit had been sent to my email - no email and still no refund. Please DO NOT sutilize this company. I wish I had read the reviews before I booked, I would have saved money, time, and energy. Also dealing with thieves is not something most people are equipped to do, so just avoid it at all costs. Don't use this company. I scheduled a shuttle with them for today and the driver was 33 minutes late (with no explanation). As we continued to drive approximately 65 in a 75 mph zone, he got an attitude with each passenger when they called to find out where he was. He was drifting between lanes while using his phone. THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT. DO NOT USE! I originally booked this shuttle under the impression that my card would not be charged and that I could pay in person. The next day I was charged $47 not once, BUT TWICE. When I called to remedy the situation, the customer service rep that answered my call was unbelievably rude and was utterly unhelpful. The week BEFORE my scheduled pick up, I was charged AGAIN, this time for $470.00. As with pretty much anything in this field it depends on what driver you get and what transport. I have been on this service 3 times and most of the time I have been on the early morning shuttle leaving Topeka for MCI and the Mid-Late Afternoon return from MCI to Topeka. Generaly the early morning shuttles seem to have very few problems an things in my experience have gone rather well with loading/unloading and the quickness that they get people on the transport (which tend to be mostly Mini-Vans for pre 5AM trips). An on the one trip when It was just myself and the driver from Topeka to the Lawrence pick-up we had a great conversation and the driver was quite affiable. I can not say the same for the afternoon shuttles. I have had extended wait's with the longest being upwards of an hour and a half. On one occasion the driver attempted to double charge me until I contacted the office then he proceded to muttter under his breath most of the way back to Topeka about how I was out to get him in trouble. An on 2 of the trips I have been the sole passenger on a mini-bus/ tram that has had no working air conditioning in early July as well as smelling strongly of gasoline in the cab. Also the charge for their service seems a bit high. Yet with no real competition they seem happy to keep fleecing their customers for sub par service. read more

Blaxxi thought they ripped my daughter off on Saturday 07/27/19. Never showed up to pick her up. The chat was a joke on Saturday. She called on 07/30/19 and spoke to someone, only to have them hang up on her once she explained what she called for. They thought they ripped her off, but BOA is refunding the money back to her MasterCard. Uber was there as usual to save the day. I pray these fraudsters are prosecuted fully. read more

Pickup at KCI was 2 hours late and the return from Manhattan KS which was suppose to be at 8:30 AM but was cancelled at 1:15 AM because there were was a more profitable 3 passenger pickup in Lawrence KS vs. 1 passenger in Manhattan KS. I had to rent a car to get to KCI. During the KCI to Manhattan pickup the driver named Julie spoke to her passengers that one of her pickups was not going to happen because it was a long day for her and out of her way. She then proceeded to tell the passengers that there were only a few drivers and the company keeps canceling if there is a 1 passenger pickup vs a 3 passenger pickup as they will go with the more profitable scenario. STAY Away unless you are VERY flexible if going between MCI and Manhattan KS. I had to do a charge back on my credit card as they were NOT going to give a refund. read more

Do Not Use These Crooks. My story is almost exactly the same as the other reviewer. Arranged and paid for a $140 round trip to KCI and back. They did not show up to pick me up. They would not answer text messages, chat, e-mails, phone calls. I did get though once and when I asked to speak to supervisor, she placed me on hold and hung up. Same story. I wished I would have looked at these reviews prior to booking. They have many names like the other posters have said. (I received a phone call from 3rd party driver who was supposedly being asked to take my fare from these A$$wipes. He was calling me out of courtesy. He said they do this to their customers all the time then they pretend it is the customer's fault. He said they never answer phone calls, messages and chats and intentionally block you if you try to complain. And that is EXACTLY what happened. I appreciated this driver's kindness for letting me no that no one was going to show up to pick me up.) I refuted the charges on my credit card and got my money back. Do NOT use KCI Roadrunner services. We booked the 6:15am airport shuttle from the downtown Ramada Inn in Topeka and the driver NEVER showed. I called the agency at 6:30am and they told me they would contact the driver and call me right back. They NEVER called me back. I spent the next 45 min trying to reach them and they did not answer their phones. Frantically we started calling taxi services trying to find anyone to take us. The driver finally contacted us nearly an hour after our scheduled pick-up time at 7:13am stating he was on his way. At this point we had already found an alternative ride to the airport. If we would have waited, we would have missed our flight. I spent all day trying to contact the agency to get a refund but kept getting put on hold. I finally got thru the next day and will be refunded the amount paid. It's just not worth the hassle and worry. They are not a reliable service. read more

I wanted to share with you my experience with you company today for my pick up from Kansas City International Airport. 1. My driver called me because he was running late and to let me know he had to use the bathroom because it was a long ride to Junction City (all other drivers were at the airport waiting for their clients- with signs.) 2. When he arrived he called me to tell me he was parked outside and described the vehicle to me, I lugged my own luggage out looking for the vehicle, as he sat in it describing it to me. He exited the vehicle when I got to it and then put my luggage in. 3. When we got around Topeka he asked if I was in a hurry to get to Junction City because he was really tired and hoped it would be ok to stop at the rest area and get a Red Bull...he explained that if I was talking more it would be easier for him to stay awake but I wasn't and he didn't want to fall asleep. 4. When we got to Junction City he asked if I knew how to get to the address I had given so I spent the end of the trip giving directions. To say I am disappointed would be a SEVERE understatement. If there was an option for zero negative points, I would use this. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!! Reasons: They overcharged my credit card, more than once for the same trip, by the THOUSANDS! Yes, THOUSANDS of DOLLARS!!! More than once for the same trip!!!!! They even charged me through both KCI and their other company name! My credit card company froze my acct as they thought these were fraudulent charges. I'm glad the credit card company is diligent, but I was TRAVELING and all of a sudden couldn't use my card. KCI lied to me for over a month about the "problem" and "would credit my account" but they never did. I sat on hold MANY MANY times for up to 45 minutes, then my call would be dropped. When I could get through I was often told tat the person I needed to speak to was busy and would call me back. This never happened. I ended up having to fight this on my time through my credit card company and had to cancel MY credit card because of KCI's errors. This then caused me to have to do all kinds of work to have to get automatic credit card transactions that I have set up to be switched to a new card. Their driver was LATE (almost an hour) picking up my daughter at college to get her to the airport. She called and called them but NEVER could get a person on the phone to confirm that they were still coming to pick her up. The driver told the passengers that he was tired and "they needed to talk to him to keep him awake". Her and the other passengers were concerned as his driving was irratic. And then HE INCLUDED A TIP ON MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT!!! My daughter did not authorize this. I had arranged everything for her travel, she didn't even have my card so could not authorize a charge. We had used them before and were a little skeptical as the first time we used them for our college daughter, she was supposed to be picked up at the airport and taken back to school and the shuttle company didn't pick her up at the airport for the run we chose. They contacted her and said that the shutttle doing that run as they had no driver and she would have to wait two hours for the next one. I booked this service for my mother who traveled to the east cost to visit us. The WHOLE experience was a disaster. They charged the credit card multiple times. They didn't show up for the return ride home. When we called to inquire on their status, they offered a refund. NO, she needs a ride. She doesn't have a ride, duh! I called back from another line, same guy Nick answered, as soon as I started talking he hung up again. I am not typically one to do reviews...in fact this is my first, but I will make it my LIFES MISSION TO MAKE SURE THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY IS PUT OUT OF BUSINESS. I recently used this service from MCI to Topeka and I was very unhappy with their service. First, their website is nonfuctional, forcing you to call in to make a reservation and being put on hold for 10-15 minutes until someone answers( I think that there is only one person answering all phone lines). Secondly, I was told that someone/driver would be waiting for me at the baggage claim with my name on a card. Of course, no one was there and I was forced to call their office (again waiting 10-15 minutes on hold) to make sure that someone was coming to pick me up. Thirdly, I had to wait one hour for my driver and when the driver did show up he was in a bad mood, and worst of all, drove the van very unsafely often riding the bumper of cars in front of him and seldom using his directional signal when changing lanes. I feared for my life, on one occasion, as he changed lanes abruptly forcing a car in that lane off the highway onto the shoulder causing that driver to honk, furiously. When I told the driver that I wished he'd drive a bit more safely he said that he needed to get in that lane as his exit was coming up and that he had driven all his life and didn't appreciate me complaining, then ranted some explicatives in a foreign language!
