Very disappointing experience…read more My husband and I were asked to leave after briefly being in the restroom together -- which are non-gendered restrooms -- while he was assisting me with checking my blood sugar levels. This was a medical necessity to ensure my safety. Monitoring blood sugar is not something that can reasonably or appropriately be done out in public, and there was no private space offered or available at the bar to accommodate this medical need. Throughout the evening, I had used the same restroom multiple times with female friends without any issue. The only time staff intervened was when my husband was present specifically to help with a medical situation. We are older adults and long-standing, active members of this community. We rarely go out -- this was for a friend's birthday, something we do maybe once a year. We were with a group of friends who are also older adults, all of whom had been there for some time, simply sitting together and minding our own business, not interacting with or disturbing other patrons. Being removed in front of our friends, without any conversation, clarification, or discretion, was deeply embarrassing and upsetting. A simple, private question or a moment of understanding could have avoided this entirely. I hope management uses this as an opportunity to better train staff on handling medical situations with compassion, discretion, and consistency.

And decided to stop by here for happy hour. Everything was just as he described great atmosphere, cold beer, friendly staff, great service good food. Our server's name was Cat, and she was fantastic, very friendly, engaging, attentive,and energetic. Unfortunately that all changed when Cat came to our table with another server named Mimi and said that she was going home and Mimi was taking over. The service immediately went south. Mimi was 180° from Cat. She was not very friendly, not enthusiastic, not attentive and seemed very low energy. We watched her walk around the floor several times yawning with her mouth wide open no attempt to cover it up, this was very offputting. We waited 20 minutes after Cat left, and Mimi never came by our table to ask us if we needed anything. She appeared to be ignoring the entire section. She spent most of her time standing over by the wait station or talking to customers at the bar (which I assume we're not her customers). The only reason we were able to order another round is another server that was not working our section came by and asked us if we needed anything. When Mimi finally did come to our table, we just asked for the check so we could pay and leave. The name on the check was Miranda so I'm not sure what that is about. We did also observe that the two bartenders who were working seemed to be cut from the same cloth as Cat, as they were friendly, engaging moving around quickly taking care of those sitting at the bar. If we're ever back in the area and decide to try again, if we see Mimi is working, we will either leave and go somewhere else , or maybe try to sit in someone else's section.

The plethora of beers, hard seltzers and ciders on tap looked like an expansive collection. There was something here for everyone. They even had a chocolate espresso martini on tap. I didn't drink but those in my party enjoyed every sip and got a good buzz goin. I love that you can pay for your drink by the ounce and you don't really have to commit to a whole drink if you don't want to. Perfect to taste test everything if that's what you desire. Instead of ordering drinks at the bar, you start a tab by leaving your credit card with the cashier. They give you a tap card that lets you pour your own drinks. You can sample just a little or fill up a whole glass. It's completely up to you. They have everything from beer and wine to a few craft cocktails on tap. If you want to try something different, you can swap out your glass and keep exploring. The same tap card also activates all of the arcade games, which I thought was a really cool touch. It makes everything feel connected instead of having to carry around a bunch of tokens or cash. When I visited, they were hosting trivia night. It definitely brought in a crowd. Most of the tables were full, so walking around got a little tight because the space isn't very big. Even so, the atmosphere was lively. It felt like everyone was having a good time. I ended up trying the Cranberry Mule, which I really enjoyed. It was nice being able to pour just the amount I wanted instead of committing to a full drink. Overall, I had a really fun time here. It's a unique spot that gives you something a little different from your typical bar. Once you're ready to leave, you just close out your tab and head home.
