They have a calendar of events, like open mic, karaoke, country social, trivia night, live music and more fun stuff. They also had two pool tables and TVs for watching sports. 2. The drinks are pretty well priced. While they do not offer food, they do welcome outside food. Which is cool if you have a specific craving that wouldn't normally be at a bar/pub. 3. Tonight was live music and the band had a really chill vibe and had good musicians. (Lunar conspiracy ) 4. It's not a huge place but it had plenty of seating, a dance floor and outdoor seating. 5. Last but not least they have friendly service. I wasn't in the mood for alcohol, and they were accommodating. I plan to go back and check out some of the other events. Tonight was not a packed night, but I'll have to compare it to other event nights in the future. If you are in the area you might already know about them but if you don't, I say give it a shot.

On more than one occasion, I saw him try to start a physical altercation with a customer. I saw a man come into the Fogg and try to apologize to the owner for an incident that happened the night before. Instead of accepting the man's apology, the owner threatened to slap the piss out of him if he ever set foot in his pub again. The owner and his wife always seemed to be arguing with their suppliers too and saying that the suppliers were trying to rip them off. I guess that I'm not really surprised that the Fogg closed.

My husband ordered one of the specials which was a short rib pot pie - one of our favorite dishes of the night. The short rib was so tender and the dish was rich but in the perfect way. I ordered the tri tip sando. It was loaded up with meat and grilled peppers and onions. I upgraded my fries to truffle fries and those were really flavorful! My mom ordered the cioppino. She was a little disappointed by how many mussels there were in the dish - she had been hoping for more fish and shrimp. She said the flavor was good though. For dessert, we did opt to try the beignets. Honestly I could have done without them. They weren't as light and fluffy as they could've been. Overall, it was a good experience with great accommodations for our toddlers and great service.

Many one-off beers and smoothie styles which can be difficult to obtain. There's only one person working the bar, which has always been a friendly female. Which is appropriate for the 90% male clientele. You gotta figure this works everywhere. Take it from someone who knows, as I worked as a bartender and barback for many years. Serving beer is one thing, but it's tough getting a male bartending job in general. The selection could be better. However, the problem I have with this place is the exorbitant prices of the draft beers. This is considering the area, which is on Broadway in Lemon Grove. I mean we are talking 9 and 10$ beers here. For example, Frank the Dank- a double IPA is 10$ here. And I know where I can get these for $5 a pint... and I'm not telling where either! We sat at a table and weren't approached for almost fifteen minutes. Staff just looked at us awkwardly and didn't say anything. I went over to the host stand when a girl finally showed up and asked if we had done something wrong, to which she scolded us for seating ourselves. I told her about what the waitress had said and told her that we would be happy to wait or move to which she rolled her eyes at me, and shoved menus at me before telling me "I guess since you're already sitting there, you can stay there". We should have walked out at that moment. The rest of the visit was awkward. The waitress we had initially interacted with ended up covering our table, and she made a comment about how we just sat ourselves and laughed at us. Really killed the vibe despite the view being nice and the space being chill. We ordered a Fire Dancer and a Wet Whistle, as well as pretzel bites and the guacamole. The drinks were decent, albeit the waitress spilled some of them on us as she was dropping them off. Pretzels were dried out, but the guacamole was good. Wouldn't come back for the service, but the view could be worth it if it improves.
