Very disappointing experience. My husband and I were asked to leave after briefly being in the restroom together -- which are non-gendered restrooms -- while he was assisting me with checking my blood sugar levels. This was a medical necessity to ensure my safety. Monitoring blood sugar is not something that can reasonably or appropriately be done out in public, and there was no private space offered or available at the bar to accommodate this medical need. Throughout the evening, I had used the same restroom multiple times with female friends without any issue. The only time staff intervened was when my husband was present specifically to help with a medical situation. We are older adults and long-standing, active members of this community. We rarely go out -- this was for a friend's birthday, something we do maybe once a year. We were with a group of friends who are also older adults, all of whom had been there for some time, simply sitting together and minding our own business, not interacting with or disturbing other patrons. Being removed in front of our friends, without any conversation, clarification, or discretion, was deeply embarrassing and upsetting. A simple, private question or a moment of understanding could have avoided this entirely. I hope management uses this as an opportunity to better train staff on handling medical situations with compassion, discretion, and consistency. read more

Nice friendly bar let us teachers and staff have a little get together when the last day of school was over. No food but they let you bring it in. Has a couple pool tables and a nice outdoor area with shaded belly tables and umbrellas for the "picnic tables. Corn hole set up in the little grass area. We had a nice time relaxing and having a beverage. I got a Mai Tai and it was okay. Lots of the ladies got margaritas and the guys mostly beers. Friendly bartender said they have dancing on the weekends until 2am! Also had 2 pool tables with friendly locals enjoying a game or two when we were there. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I read somewhere about the grand opening a while back and really wanted to attend...that night didn't work out for me. So on a day when i was in East county i called up a friend to meet me here. The space is huge and decked out in country western theme. tons of pool tables and more lawn games on outdoor patio. Huge bar and ample seating throughout. the drink menu was fabulous. Bathrooms were wallpapered with nostalgic celebrity pics from my younger years. This place is banging! Someone told me it just opened, which surprised me. The bar staff was running really well. Got to break in some new billiards tables ($1 a game bring quarters). They also have darts and cornhole in a HUGE outside section. Next time I'm bringing cigars, I'm surprised they didn't sell any. Full bar better prices than downtown but no food. They ran out of almost every liquor. They had no tequila and no vodka. Their whisky isn't even Jack Daniel's it's Evan Williams. They don't have a good selection of whisky at all. If your pregnant or don't drink, they say they make mocktails, then resume to say no to a mojito and everything else so don't go if your prego unless you only want to drink Shirley temples all night because that's the only non alcoholic beverage they'll make for you. The bartenders are the real MVPs, especially the awesome gal who set up a make-your-own nacho bar on a weeknight. They've got something for everyone, from old-school cartoons to sports, making sure no one has to fight over the remote. And the décor? Chef's kiss. Between vintage ads, a killer "no table dancing" sign (because, let's be real, who doesn't want to live out their Coyote Ugly fantasy?), and a Big Mouth Billy bass greeting you at the door, it's clear they didn't hold back. The outdoor area is massive, and I'm pretty sure this summer it'll be completely taken over by the locals (as it should be). I was hoping for better from a Northpark bar owner though, but you can put up signs to show it's a welcoming place or enact dress code at the minimum. Don't go here. Their service policies denied me service twice. First time my little 4 lb dog on my shoulder got me kicked out. Second time I try I sat at their outdoor service areas of which they have two with six stools but they are also denied the service there saying they don't service those stools. Also their parking spaces are set up staggered where you can hit another car if you're not extremely careful. Which happened to me. Here I was looking forward to coming to this place but it was a disaster. Get a clue! If you're not going to serve stools then tell the people that you won't serve them there. There's always room here for the lonely!!! I've been waiting for this place to open and wow! It's so much bigger than I was expecting. The decor is awesome and the bathroom wallpaper is so fun! I loved it at first until the little monster came into the picture. We were sitting outside watching people play corn hole and ordering the $3 beers that was advertised on the bar itself. The dude serving us was great! He would run up to the other side of the bar and grab my beer and serve it to me with a smile. Then this women took over and told me I had to go all the way to other bar to get the deal . I'd really like to let you know how much I root for this bar and this town to be successful and good trustworthy people. I really would love to think that humans aren't horrible and people can be good. I've been to this bar on multiple occasions and as time passes it continues to get a tad worse each time. This time my friend celebrating her birthday (47) just wanted to dance and have a good time. Her husband trying to get drinks at the bar for her was cut off and he asked to not be cut in line. The bartender then came to the back of the bar almost warning us that he needs to watch who he is talking to because they "know people". She also said they were saying he was saying racial slurs. This is absolutely shocking and disturbing because my friend would absolutely never say anything like that. I'm just extremely disappointed that this happened and feel like this person is an obvious regular in this establishment and felt like he or she had the right to be in the front of the line at all time and then throw a racist card is not cool. I've been coming to this bar for over 30 years. I learned how to dance on their little tiny dance floor and I sang my very first karaoke song in the corner by the entrance. I did not know how I would feel about the remodel, but I can't explain how amazing it is now. My wife and I are having this incredible time during an early afternoon on a Saturday with next to nobody here. I'm just floored on what an amazing job they did.
