    Mother's birthday cake.

Traditional Chinese bakery. My family comes here from time to time for pastries. I ordered two cakes from here, separate days. The baker was so pleasant! There's a language barrier as I speak mainly English, but he was very patient with me as I depicted what I wanted. I called on the phone and they recommended that I come in. The cakes were vanilla, he wrote down what I wanted and had the messages displayed correctly. I honestly forgot the prices of the cake but I believe they were $25? I have also tried their Taro bubble tea and I enjoyed that very much as well. Their triangle cakes are to die for! All in all, this bakery is great and I enjoy coming here.

$1 something a piece. Old school, delicious.

Traditional and affordable Chinese pastry shop. Limited varieties during Covid but displayed their available pastries daily and kept all of the inventories in a warmer for sanitary and safety purposes. The ma'am at the register does not speak English, but extremely polite and sweet. 5 pastries and 2 drinks cost about $10. The breads are fluffy, and semi sweet/salty. Iced milk tea and coffee are refreshing. Give it a try if you're near by and crave some quick and traditional stuff.

I was craving my favorite Chinese dessert! Egg tarts and i honestly am unsure of the name ( i think coconut cream bread?? but anyway/ They had one left of each and they were sooo soft and delicious! I went again and same experience just absolutely delicious!! I recommend both!!

    Lemon tea

I wanted a cold lemon honey but instead they gave me a hot lemon tea and also gave me the wrong bread

There are only 2 things I like from a Asian bakery they are 1- Egg Tart 2-bubble pearl ice tea ... I really enjoyed the bubble ice tea ... they have that special machine that seals on the lid on your drink.. soo neat... but the egg tart was unusual... it's not made with the flaky crust that I was expecting... So I give you 4 stars for the bubble tea but one star for the egg tart

Very cheap eats and drinks. Love their corn and ham bun. Fresh pastries with a high turn over.

Really enjoy the BBQ pork buns and smoothies (bubble tea is good but not my thing). Good stuff and cheap! Friendly people.

The best go to spot for something good. You get in and out in no time and have great food in your hands . The buns here are good and cheap

Plus they have things I used to be able to get in Chinatown but since covid, I can't; such as lemon buns and lemon roll.

Hands down, the most beautiful tea shop in the city. But also some of the best service. As I walked…read morein, I was warmly greeted and asked if I'd been before. The menu was explained to me. I was offered samples. Everyone was so kind. But what really impressed me was the quality of my drink. I've had A LOT of bubble and fruit teas from a lot of places in a lot of places. This was Top 3. They have machines that make each cup of tea fresh for cold tea drinks, which I've never seen. And the freshness of the tea noticeably elevated the quality of the drink. I live quite far from this shop, but I know I'll be back time and time again.

2.5 but I'm sad to write this because I usually love chi cha. This one, maybe we came too late (1.5…read morehours before close) but the quality of the taro was bad and the green tea was flavorless. SERVICE: (3/5), came this past Sunday late afternoon and there were two people working. Girl who rang us up was cold, it was fine. Smiling with each other and then when she saw us that disappeared immediately. Said thank you, no response. Might be a generational training issue. DRINK(2/5): got a green tea with taro balls. Taro balls were clumped together, chewy in a bad way and had a rough center. Green tea tasted watery. Way too expensive for the quality COST: (1/5) ok really did not like this part. The mediocre drink cost us nearly $8 and the tip option STARTED at 20% and went to like 30 or 35% are you kidding me? AMBIANCE (5/5): great, best store design I've seen in a chi cha, especially better than the one downtown
