burger with bacon and cheese, chips

We enjoyed our casual dinner in te outdoor seating. The fish and chips were a little mushy but still tasted great. The burger with double cheese on pillowy soft buns was great as well. The staff were quick and friendly. I only had a problem with the several people who smoked right by the entrance. Perhaps they should have a spot to smoke a little further away from where people enter or exit, and especially further away from diners.

One last meal after weeks of traveling all around Ireland, Kealy's was a good note to go out on. I had the Trio Meal: Chicken Wings, Corned Beef and Cabbage, and Apple Pie, while my hubby had the Fish and Chips. The chicken wings were hearty, juicy, and crispy with an amazing sauce. They were quite large, and came with a lot of celery :) There was enough to share with two! My main entree was so yummy-the parsley sauce on the potatoes was creamy, with lots of seasoned zest. The meat was a large cut-well cooked, tender and juicy. The cabbage was chopped nicely, easy to take some with each bite. The fish and chips was a good cut of fish-nice and fresh. The apple pie wasn't anything special, I wish I picked something else. The apple pie is why I didn't rate a 4/5, and the beer was why I didn't rate a 5/5. Learning how to pour Guinness during our travels, they poured a crap pint here. It was upsetting their Guinness was the last on our trip. They need to learn how to pour-Ireland promotes the double pour, let it settle-they are not doing this-and they caused a major overflow of foam.

The food was so good and the service was great! My friend got the fish and chips and she said that was just as good! Definitely worth it!

Oops, we went to grab a drink upstairs and accidentally crashed a private party. Oh well, once we finished our drinks we headed downstairs for dinner. We sat at the bar and the service was friendly. I ordered the sweet potato and chorizo soup and fish entree. The food was good but not stellar. I liked that Kealy's was within walking distance to our hotel.

Kealy's is my go-to place for pub grub in Swords, situated on the Swords Road, just before the airport, it has plenty of parking out back and you'll find a warm welcome inside. There's plenty of seating in the part that serves food and the lounge next door is usually quieter for those who want to while away some time with a drink or two. The food is simple and hearty, portions are big - you won't go hungry here! It's always busy with a buzzy atmosphere but they'll manage to fit you in somewhere. The dips and sauces are all home-made and delicious - the garlic and curry my personal favourites. If you want a no-nonsense, hearty feed and a pint in a casual setting and don't want to pay over the odds for it, then Kealy's will not let you down.

Have lived locally to Kealy's for a while now and have promised myself to check it out sooner rather than later. Went in for lunch today and ordered the roast beef sandwich which was accompanied with chips and salad. The menu for a bar, is impressive. A lot of bases covered and not crazily expensive. My meal was under 9 quid so for all I got, happy days. I will say that the chips and salad weren't the very best I've had, lacked flavour and a bit of imagination but the beef was delicious, tender and moreish :)

Now a 4 star from me is saying a lot but there is a lot to say. Its located beside dublin airport so great spot yo go before a flight or afyer a flight. The food service is amazing like a proper army of waittesses and waiters and they are ine of very few places to embrace technology for oredering using a local in house app to place the orders on their phones which go straight to the kitchen. The staff are on top form and the speed is lightening uve barely finished ordering and its on ur table thebhistle and bustle of the place is great with a wude variety of drinks and food on offer altho the menu is on a4 pages on a clip board u can beat the portion sizes and the savoury freshness of every meal. I haf a steak sandwhich wrapped in a fresh bap and chucky chips which wer no messing cooked to perfection as chucky chips can sumtimes be hit and miss but this time deffo a hit

Food is an assemblage, not cooked. Bad food, good bear, friendly and accommodating staff.

Had their wings and steak sandwich. Both were great and love their pepper sauce! Perfect pit stop on the way to the airport.

A nice young lady came down…read moreand took our phone number and said she would text us in about 15 minutes because we did not have a reservation. We decided to hang out a block away and waited for the text that ultimately never came. It was disappointing because had she just said they were full or a reservation was required we would have just left the Temple Bar area entirely but instead we stuck around wasting our evening.

This is a true speakeasy, which is really hard to come by. It's suggested to make a reservation…read morebecause they fill up quickly. We visited twice, and the first time was on a Wednesday night. They were able to accommodate us mid-week without a reservation, but Friday night we made one to come back. There were gobs of people waiting to get in so we're glad we did! The entrance is very non-descript. It's an ugly grey metal door with VCC randomly applied, so if you didn't know what was there it would look industrial. There is a door bell to the left of the door. Ring it a few times and someone will open the door and check you in. With reservations they do make you wait until exactly that time so don't be alarmed. Your table is already selected for you. The inside is loungy and very swanky. Both times we had extremely comfortable chairs. Service is immaculate. Their menu is massive, very well published and explained. Our servers were both able to explain exactly what the cocktail may taste like as some of the combos might blow your mind. I had the Dirty Wizard which sounds odd on based on ingredients but was delicious. I also had the Purple Pearl which was my perfect cocktail. My husband tried a few different whiskey concoctions and he was impressed by all of them. I highly recommend adding VCC to your Dublin itinerary!
