11am weekday ordered $70 of stuff 3 entrees and some other stuff…read more Beef Shawarma I'd say is best among the shawarma's and other stuff. They made big mistake with my order but they were great at owning up to it and showed exemplary service in doing so. They got the grape vine wraps which goes great with fries. I will go back just for this. Keep in mind shawarma on weekdays may not be freshly grilled but kept in containers they scoop out of, or regrilled. But the beef shawarma good either way. Sauces for sharwarma in addition to regular sauces they have there is also a yogurt like sauce addition that give great taste. But all the side toppings does lean toward the saltier side. I'd recommend asking to replace all with rice. Lettuce on weekday seems a bit old, brown and yellow spots... try to go on weekends Eggplant dip bought separately tasted sadly underwelming but might be a thing for some people. I had much tastier eggplant dips especially the canned ones. Theirs seems home made. Their food is decent 3/5 and service 4/5. You will feel people working there cares, unlike Made in Mexico on main st new location in my recent trip. For competing sharwarma there is always Sharwarma Land on Yonge st to try around ten min drive south. The lack of fresh veggies and meat on weekdays sadly lowers rating.

We ordered mix shawarma plate and one kafta dinner which came with a drink and pita. It put me off as soon as I took the first bite . Non of us liked the food and the sweet dressing on the dinner . Disappointing.

This Metro may be rated higher than 2.7 stars if they focused more on customer service…read more I spoke with 2 of the employees on the phone prior to arriving to ensure they still had an item I needed and weren't sold out - the first was customer service I assume, and the next was in the meat department. Both were a bit short but not overtly rude, and I understand they could have been busy, I had no issue. The second employee on the phone let me know they had my item and a few hours later, I headed over for my shipping trip. This trip ended in me having to speak to not one, not two, but FIVE of the employees trying to find just one other item I required. The original employee I spoke with, was stocking aisles, but had a buddy with her. They both stood there chatting, they were so engaged in their convo to the point that I waited there for a few seconds, trying to not butt into their conversation, waiting for someone to turn their attention to help a customer. In the end I had to ask "excuse me...?" The one woman in uniform told me the item would be found in Aisle 11, then hurriedly returned to her gossip with her *friend, coworker*?..., (not entirely sure, one was plain clothed in sweatpants, so either a clocked out employee or it's take your friend to work day today). The one who was uniformed still said "don't know if we have it. If we do it's in Aisle 11." Come to find out there are ten aisles in the store total. This item was also in the deli section, nowhere near the aisles. It was very obvious she had no interest in helping me, and this culminated with me having to ask for the help of another employee who asked for another employee and so on so forth. The second woman, I believe is another employee who was clocked out but distracting other workers on the clock, as she found me at the check outs to ask if I ended up finding this item in the end. If you don't know an answer, maybe try to be honest or find another employee to help - as the other (very nice, helpful) employees did in the end. In total, I had interactions with 7 employees, 4 of whom didn't leave a great taste in my mouth. The other 3 did go above and beyond in the end as they sensed my frustration, but that ratio/percentage is not great overall for the number of employees I interacted with. After spending $110 on only a handful of items at their location, and leaving disappointed, their customer service can be MASSIVELY improved.
