Also got tasting portions of Khoresh Gheymeh (red beef & split pea stew) and khoresh ghormeh sabzi (green beef & herb stew). Both were excellent. Both tasted quite different - the latter had a pronounced herb taste & the former was more conventional. Barberry rice with chicken was ok. The rice was their normal rice with a sour red berry on top. The chicken was rather plain. There was no red sauce unlike in the menu picture.

They are not skimpy on the filling or the meat serving. The fries! I don't really eat fries more than so, but yum. The outside of the fries were crispy and the inside was nice and tender. I couldn't believe I was actually eating them as a meal, not just something to help fill me up. They made big mistake with my order but they were great at owning up to it and showed exemplary service in doing so. They got the grape vine wraps which goes great with fries. I will go back just for this. Keep in mind shawarma on weekdays may not be freshly grilled but kept in containers they scoop out of, or regrilled. But the beef shawarma good either way.
