I received the worst salad paid extra for toppings and never got them sad for 20 dollar salad. no dressing 1/2 a cu umber slice

We dined in during a Wednesday noon and the place was packed. There were a lot of teenage student customers from a nearby high school. All the seats were taken in by the big crowd. The food pricing is fair. I believe my order of medium Chicken shawarma half-and-half is priced $13.55 with tax. My order and my companion's (who also ordered the same) had a lot more rice compared to fries. The default application of (white) tahini sauce was not as much as I have preferred and it tasted a little bland. The washroom was blocked off during the time and was not accessible. My second time here. Price was was ok, just not upfront. Garlic was adequate. Hot sauce had flavour, did not have heat. The chicken was not right off the spit. Disappointingly small portion. It was conveniently in a covered pan. The turnip and pickles were offensively salty. The town has really upped its shawarma game. This establishment needs to up their personal expectations. The best part of this restaurant is the decor. It's a shame when a nice looking place doesn't own up to food with the same effort as the chairs people fart on. read more

I always like to try a new shawarma place in hopes of finding a local gem, this isn't it! Such an odd dining experience overall. I ordered a large shawarma and was surprised they only use one size pita. Since they don't have a large wrap they just take two regular pitas and sort of overlap them to create one large doughy shell. All the toppings went in, good amounts. When it came to the meat, that was scooped out of a tub in a warming tray. WHY WHY WHY am I getting precut meet instead of fresh cut from the cooking spit rotating behind the counter???!! Hot sauce went on - 2 lines. They use the same spicy sauce for all intensities but just at more or less depending how hot you want it. I don't mind spicy but I'm sure some people will struggle with this. Generous amount of other sauces and then toasted a bit. Overall flavor was lacking and bland. Double overlaping pitas made some bites full of pita and doughy. Customer service - both employees were listening to music on wireless headphones throughout the whole encounter. I won't be back. Having tried Lazeez Shawarma in Mississauga a couple years ago, I was instantly hooked. Everything was super fresh and cooked well. Finally got a chance to try it when it first opened here in Newmarket, Ontario! The food was all so fresh and made just like the other restaurant in Mississauga. The chicken and falafel were both moist and fresh every time I had gone there (been there a few times already). On one occasion I ordered the chicken on sticks and got less chicken in the meal which I was not to happy about, hence the 4 Stars - but overall a great experience and a must try! read more

DIRTY FOOD!!!! I saw nurses doctors EMTs coming to the restaurant to get their food from there little that they knows that they have been eating dirty food the whole time. I work there and it was one of the worst scam jobs ever. We don't get any tips and I was begging for my paycheck for days and my paycheck was $100 short. Shameful.!!! Please don't support businesses like this who abuse their workers. They are so greedy to the point of picking up food from the floor and put it back in its place to serve it to people again. They are literally serving dirty food that was dropped on the floor!!! I swear on my life!!!! Went to this location tonight and was very disappointed in both the customer service and food. I waited for 10 minutes in an empty restaurant for the guy to acknowledge both me and my boyfriend. No friendly conversation or smile or anything. I paid $19 for two of these meals. Which consists of mostly fries and a sprinkle of chicken. This is the second time I have been here. The first time I was impressed. However it seems like the staff tonight were not friendly and were scarce in the amount of protein being given. read more

Horrible experience with this place , first time they gave me beef donair (gyros) instead of beef shawarma even though I paid the extra $2.50 or so for beef shawarma and today I had the most disgusting chicken shawarma in my life. Garlic sauce was basically watered down mayo with no garlic taste at all. They had fresh chicken on the spit but instead gave me cold left over chicken from the counter which seriously seemed like it had been there since the day before, It was cold , lacked any flavour and all of the meat was dark brown and nasty. I'm seriously praying I don't get violently ill from it. Do your stomachs and your wallets a favour and avoid this phony place!!! read more

Love the chicken shawarma on the rocks. I have at least twice per week and find the food tasty, good portion sizes and good staff.
