I got the mascara-done caramel banana pancake, which the server told us was a popular item. My husband got the salmon with cream cheese, and he said that was amazing. So unlike other places that usually stack pancakes and then put the topping at the top, this each layer has the filling, so each layer of the salmon pancake has cream cheese and salmon. Service was patient while we ordered and food was delivered pretty quickly. My husband got a burrito, which he did not finish (never a good sign). I got a bacon quesadilla, which seemed like a fairly safe option. It was OK. The bacon was really fatty. But it was hot, filled with cheese and made me not starving. So check. I DO think that if I had been out partying at a bar and needed something to scarf down at like 2 in the morning, Burrito Loco would be PERFECT.
