We wanted to grab breakfast before we were headed to the airport but didn't feel like eating too much. First, they have a high chair, a huge plus for us parents. I got the mascara-done caramel banana pancake, which the server told us was a popular item. My husband got the salmon with cream cheese, and he said that was amazing. So unlike other places that usually stack pancakes and then put the topping at the top, this each layer has the filling, so each layer of the salmon pancake has cream cheese and salmon. The pancakes were very good and also seemed very healthy as far as pancakes go - everything was perfectly balanced. The halloumi and avocado as well as the hummus were layered in the stack so every bite had something in it. The karak latte was also very good with a smooth flavour. I appreciated that they could make it with alternative milk since most places I've been to that serve this will only do it with dairy. Would absolutely recommend for a fun, relaxed breakfast or lunch.

There are a handful of pretty basic options to choose from and a couple of drink options. They get bonus points for serving bottled Jaritos. Service was patient while we ordered and food was delivered pretty quickly. My husband got a burrito, which he did not finish (never a good sign). I got a bacon quesadilla, which seemed like a fairly safe option. It was OK. The bacon was really fatty. But it was hot, filled with cheese and made me not starving. So check. I DO think that if I had been out partying at a bar and needed something to scarf down at like 2 in the morning, Burrito Loco would be PERFECT.
