She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal without ever being intrusive. We started with the Mezze Platter, and it was a great choice. The hummus and babaganush were especially delicious, fresh, flavorful, and a perfect way to begin the meal. For our entrees, we ordered the Beyti Sarma and the Chicken Sis. Both dishes were very tasty and well prepared. The only surprise was that the Chicken Sis appeared to be made entirely with dark meat. We don't mind dark meat, but it would be helpful if the menu mentioned that so guests know what to expect. To finish the meal, we shared the baklava and a Turkish coffee. The baklava was delicious, and the Turkish coffee was an excellent way to end the evening. The only other observation is that the prices are a bit on the high side, but that's becoming fairly common with many quality restaurants today. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere made for a very enjoyable dining experience, and we'd happily return.

Looking over the menu everything sounded fabulous. The owner took my order and when I asked for the shish kebab he said "not the best". So I asked for his suggestion. He said I would like the meatballs better and that they were lighter. Well I listened and he was right. They treat you like family here and want you to like what they make you. My husband had the goulash and it was also spectacular. The salad before the meal was also a surprise star. Coated in lemon and olive oil and just the right salt and pepper it was a light delicious way to get your veggies. I will be back here frequently.

We were invited to enjoy a complimentary buffet they were hosting, which was such an unexpected treat. The first thing we noticed was the beautiful outdoor patio--perfect if you want to enjoy your meal in the fresh air. Inside, the restaurant felt welcoming, and the staff immediately made us feel at home. The owner, Ray, was there greeting guests and genuinely seemed excited to have everyone visiting. Once we got the go-ahead to check out the buffet, our eyes lit up. Everything looked incredible! Since this was our first visit, we weren't sure what to expect, but the presentation alone had us excited to dig in. (Just a note: this buffet was for a special event, so I'm not sure if it's offered during normal business hours.) We started with a fresh Mediterranean salad tossed in a bright lemon dressing that was absolutely delicious--although I may be a little biased because I can never resist a great salad! We also tried the hummus and baba ghanoush with crispy fried pita chips. Both dips were smooth, creamy, and packed with flavor. Next came the beef, lamb, and chicken shawarma. Each one had perfectly crisp edges while staying incredibly juicy and flavorful inside. We paired them with the tahini sauce, which added the perfect fresh finish. My absolute favorite parts of the meal were the pickled vegetables and the falafel. I already love pickled foods, but these were exceptional--not overly vinegary, just perfectly balanced with a fresh, tangy crunch. The real star of the meal, though, was the falafel. Honestly, I'm usually not the biggest falafel fan, but Med Cuisine completely changed my mind. We dipped it in their incredible garlic sauce (I believe it's called toum), and it was the perfect combination. The falafel was crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside, and bursting with flavor. I completely understand why it disappeared so quickly--I only wish I'd gone back for seconds before it was gone! We had such a wonderful experience and can't wait to come back. Next time, we're definitely saving room for dessert. Do yourself a favor and stop by Med Cuisine. Support this wonderful local business, enjoy some incredible Mediterranean food, and if you're lucky, you'll get the chance to meet Ray, whose hospitality makes the experience even more memorable. The bread tasted old. I'm used to good Lebanese food and this missed the mark. I'm surprised by the reviews. The hummus and baba ganoush was 3/5. My husband had a spicy Lebanese sandwich, he said it was good. And the fries were soggy and greasy. With so many levant places, I won't be going here again. I guess I prefer the Iraqi, Syrian, and Turkish places in Tucson.
