I can't stay away! I think this is the best food in La Grange. The baba ganuje and the beef shawarma platter (I remove the hummus and replace with extra salad and add feta and olives!) and loaded beef shawarma fries are incredible! I also love the pan fried tomato appetizer, the Greek and heaven salads, and the chicken shawarma wrap! Quick and friendly service as well and I love places that allow guests to place the order online and just pickup so I appreciate they have that. Highest recommendation! read more

Yummy food and good service. I ordered the kufta kabobs plate. It comes with 2 kabobs, rice, salad, hummus, pickled veggies, and pita bread. I also got the walnut baklava. I love baklava so im forever trying to find the "Good Stuff". The baklava is a bit heavy on an orange/rose sweet water. Normally you use a *hint*, but they use a little more and it is sweetened. It's good but wasnt the flavor I was looking for. The kufta was a bit dry but tasty. I got the GARLIC sauce because, DUH!! So that sauce helped with the dryness. Its hard to do kufta and not overdo it but when you hit it just right, its delicious. They went a bit too long, thus the dryness. The place is lined with photos from Jordan, Gaza, Jerusalem and that's interesting to see. Lots of tables and booths at which to sit inside and eat. It is clean and that's great! We picked this place for lunch on Yelp while driving from Nashville to Cincinnati, and it was great! We got the lamb kebab platter, a gyro, pistachio baklava and mint tea. The food on the platter was plentiful, enough for both of us. The kebabs were tender and flavorful as was the bed of rice beneath them. The accompanying pitas, hummus and salad were tasty as well! We saved the gyro for later and devoured the baklava, which was one of the best we have eaten. Great food, and great value! read more

"Order at the counter" kind of place with a few booths, tables & seating at the window. I'm here at 2pm, waiting for lamb chops. I ordered them to-go, but I'm going to eat them here. Not sure if the set-up for dine-in is on real plates. Really tasty, and tender lamb chops, cooked perfectly. Served with seasoned rice, a little bit of salad with nice vinaigrette, hummus, pita bread, tzatziki, and a couple of pickled cold veggies. Pita bread isn't the soft fluffy kind, it's the flatter authentic kind I ate in college with my Lebanese & Arab friends. Mmmmm. I can't stop eating! The young girl at the counter has a nice personality. I think I heard her call one of the men cooking "dad". You can tell she likes being here, unusual for kids of owners. Finally, something other than a Mexican restaurant in LaGrange!!! I've been waiting for this place to open what seems like forever, and it didn't t disappoint. Mostly, because Mediterranean food is right up there with Japanese as one of my favorites. The staff was super nice, and made sure our meals were made without any ingredients we can't have. I got the falafels and a gyro wrap, and though they could have been warmer, we're quite delicious. Wife got the chicken shawarma wrap, and yep, that checked out, too. The star of the show:baklava. With Covid and the subsequent difficulty of businesses finding workers, Kebabz Heaven is finally opened! And it took us a few weeks to finally make it in, but when we finally got there..... wow! What is it ever worth the wait! There aren't a lot of restaurants in the area serving foods other than American cuisine or fast food. The ones that are are a mix of Chinese fast food and Mexican restaraunts ( only the smallest handful of which are even close to real Mexican food, such as Ernestos on Main St, Crestwood Taqueria on 143 in Crestwood, and Cravings Bianca on 329 veterans Memorial Parkway; in case you were wondering). Kebabz Heaven has a great selection of Greek and Mediterranean dishes and a friendly staff. The combination of those two things with food that is full of flavor, moist, and delicious, does this genre of food good, especially being in a small town like La Grange. We have been twice and it is now in our front pocket anytime we are looking to skip cooking and getting out to get some good food. We have had the Veggie Kebabs, the Mixed combo plate, the gyro plate, and the Hummus as well as Baba Ganoush. All of these were so good, and once we even had enough left over for a meal the next day. Our family highly recommends this most excellent choice for a lunch or dinner when you want flavor and don't want to cook! read more
