This obscure little restaurant is a very colorful hidden gem on Georgetown Road not far off the Circle. There are two litte tables inside, but best to take your food home to sit and enjoy. My falafel wrap was large and stuffed with falafel and veggies. Wow good! I also ordered grape leaves. They come six to an order. Do stop and pickup an order. You won't be disappointed. 63

I live near this restaurant and have passed it many times and thought I should try this place. Well, today was the date that I tried lunch here and wow I am glad. I ordered the lamb sharma plate lunch and my lunch was 13.99. I was very pleased and this is some of the best Mediterranean food that I have had in Lexington. If you see this small place on Georgetown street you should give it a try, glad that I did!

Fabulous! Almost hesitant to post if it will increase crowd size in a small place. Huge portions, good value, fresh ingredients, and friendly service. Falafel was the best I've had in Lex (including Sahara and Nefertiti - both great). Clearly I have been sleeping on this place but no more! Will be back very soon!

Chicken Kebobs and lamb. Perfection. Right down to the best olive oil I've ever had.

Incredible food. Just incredible. The ingredients are sourced ... from the source. The food is made with love and good cheer. It's a delight to chat with the owner and it's heart warming to hear of his love of Lexington and Kentucky. We are lucky to have him and his family here!!! Well done

This is such a great little eatery! Fresh and delicious Mediterranean food, made to order, the way you like it! I've eaten here so many times, it's hard to say a good things about the food and the very friendly, and accommodating staff. If you're really hungry, they the plates featuring delicious seasoned basmati, rice, your choice of protein, along with your choice of sides, plus a large room of pita, if you'd like. If you're not quite as hungry, there are wrap style sandwiches made with chicken or beef Shawarma, lamb, falafel, meatballs, or kebabs. The chicken Shawarma is a must have, are the meatballs, which I did not expect to be quite so delicious! They have healthy sides, including green beans, cooked with tomatoes, olive oil, and garlic, hummus, baba ghanoush, and everything is made right before your eyes. The falafels are not made in advance, but fried fresh per order, since they are always delicious, hot and crisp! Don't forget the toum/garlic sauce, or the tahini sauce, or pomegranate molasses! Besides being delicious, everything always looks great since it is garnished with traditional Middle Eastern pickles, olives, sliced onion, olive oil, and sumac. Do yourself a favor and stop by this great little restaurant. You'll be glad you did!. There's a small area for eating inside, and a covered area for eating outdoors, but many people take their food to go. This place is hidden gem, which should not be missed!

There is the ordering line and just a headed up they don't serve meat products. All dishes are vegetarian. You get to select 2 from the list for a meal ( as they are smaller portions ). They have some great dishes and savory tastes. They have beer and wines available; nice selection but not abundant- but when you have good selection in the first place you only need a smaller list. The hummus appetizer is awesome and great with the focaccia bread but I'd get at least a double portion bread right away. The porter was very good! If you're in Lexington stop here for the experience and some good food and drink!

The food was okay. Nothing to write home about. Especially for the hype and the line you wait in. Service is okay, kind of friendly and was incredibly slow to get food out. After waiting for 20-25 minutes we stood by the kitchen window to wait for our food to come up, we overheard people coming to pick up food and being told they were out of items they ordered and to choose something else... from the already VERY LIMITED menu. I was struck that they were allowing orders to go through for items they didn't have.. Anyways, the couscous salad was great. The lox and kohlrabi salad was mid with soggy bread. The pretzel was decent. Seating in the garden was viby - I'm assuming this is why everyone hypes this place up. Overall very pretentious. Walking around the greenhouse and seeing the plant prices is LAUGHABLE. As a gardener, these prices are insane and you can certainly find great plants at a much better price elsewhere. Again, pretentious. I've experienced their garden seating so I don't think I need to go back when visiting Lexington.

Favor is the passion project of chef Wyatt Sarbacker and features a small rotating menu. While the burgers and empanadas are always on the menu, other items change seasonally or according to availability. Wyatt prides himself and Favor on using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients and building an eco friendly, environmentally sustainable culinary experience. The space is intimate, mostly counter seating aside from one large community dining table in the adjoining room, but it's bright and welcoming. The kitchen is completely open and you can see everything Wyatt is doing as he prepares your meal. And this is an impressive one man show! It amazed us how Wyatt made it look easy (though I'm sure it's not). He was preparing multiple dishes from multiple orders simultaneously and delivered them promptly at a great pace that allowed us to enjoy each dish without feeling hurried. We ate almost every dish on the menu. Dish sizes vary, some small, some larger, but it worked out wonderfully that there were three of us, as we could eat in a tapas style, sharing all of the tasty foods. The empanadas were first, and come with a rotating sauce accompaniment. They were soft and hot, and the filling was delicious. I can't remember the filling, but I remember black beans were involved, and it was actually one of my favorite dishes. Such a compact, juicy, savory bite. We also had the lion's mane mushroom, made with pea shoots, lemon, and creole mustard. This is a mushroom served like a crab cake. You could really taste the earthy mushroom flavor and the creole mustard was the perfect addition. We also had the crispy Brussels, made with shishito peppers, onion, and maple miso dressing. Wyatt did Brussels sprouts incredibly well. Often you go to a place and they are burnt or charred and have that taste. These were cooked to perfection and had a smoky, yet sweet taste. And who could resist a giant plate of fries? These fries are fresh cut potatoes and my dinner companion compared them to the famous "Five Guys" fries that everyone raves about. The true star here is the curry ketchup. No ordinary ketchup, this thrills the tastebuds. We were excited to hear that Wyatt will hopefully be releasing some of his own sauces soon. We also had the cheeseburger, which is a smashburger. I have complained about the smashburger trend endlessly, as I tend to like a thick, medium burger. But this burger was VERY good. Melted with cheese, on his HOMEMADE buns, this one gets a pass as "one of the good ones." We finished up with chocolate chunk cookies, which were served hot with ooey gooey melted chocolate chips. Made with rye flower and bittersweet chocolate, as well as cranberries, poppyseeds, and sea salt, this cookie had such a unique savory flavor. The more we tasted them, the more we loved them. I'm not a "sweets" type of person, so this type of cookie is ideal for me. I wish I could have bought a dozen to take home to my husband. You can get cocktails from arcadium, right by the restaurant, which I've reviewed previously. They make light refreshing daiquiris and gin gimlets, which is what we ordered. My companion liked their old fashioned. Prices for Flavor are insanely well priced. Despite this experiencing being worth so much more, prices range from sub-ten dollars to 18 dollars. Wyatt was warm and welcoming and interesting. We had an amazing evening and have already discussed when we would come back, who we would bring, or whether we might have next year's birthday bash there as a private event. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening, Wyatt, I am glad I finally figured out the reservation system!

Even though theres no menu on the website, we were excited to give it a try anyway & reserved online. We were debating between the French resto or this, but since their voicemail was full & we couldn't get a hold of anybody to cancel so we went ahead. BTW this place only requires reservations and needs a credit card to do so, otherwise a no show is $30 charge. Seating is limited, I'd say max of 15 people at a time. It was difficult to find this at night as this was at the back of a bar. We drove around the area and found the sign luckily. They don't serve alcohol but they are associated with the bar on the front so you can get your drinks there. The menu was very limited, it probably changes periodically bec I don't see the same food posted by other yelpers. The chef prepares as you order. We tried the rangoons, brussel sprouts, and mushroom campanelle. The dishes were just okay, we were not wowed. The campanelle (pasta) was creamy but lacks flavor and could use some salt. They're okay portions and can be shared (that's what we did) since there's not too many food options.

Service was fantastic and pleasant. The only criticism I had is that the red onion in my omelet was bitter. But no one's fault, sometimes onions are very astringent. Everything else was delicious and well made. Oh and we got the house made cinnamon roll for the table. This was delicious. So buttery and gooey with cinnamon. It's enormous (easily shareable between 6+ people) and absolutely delicious. The Sourdough Breakfast Sandwich was a close second at 9/10, a great classic executed really well. The Banana Bread Latte was an 8/10 -- very good but ask for it less sweet. The Iced Cinnamon Bun Latte and Eggs in Heaven both landed at 6/10. The latte sounds incredible on paper but the cinnamon bun flavor didn't quite come through, and while the Eggs in Heaven dish itself is a good concept, my eggs were unfortunately not cooked to my liking.
