Fair rates, easy parking, and EV charging! Friendly service on the shuttle and very close ride!

I always park here when I fly out of Des Moines. The drivers are very helpful as far as carrying bags.

I understand that businesses have reduced staff due to COVID, but leaving one person to watch the gate and drive the shuttle van is poor planning. I landed at 5:15 on a Friday- the "economy lot" van (orange) stopped on his 2nd pass by- without a passenger- and encouraged me to call Keck. I called 3x without an answer. The 4th call and after waiting 40 mins. someone answered and agreed to come and pick me up. I have used Keck for 20+ yrs. I fly 4 times per yr, on average, which is every few months- this yr with COVID I last used the lot in March for a week and the cost was $36. This week I used the lot for a week and the cost was $64. Next month- no lot- I will phone a friend. read more

At midnight in March, driver stopped in area marked LIMO to pick up passengers and was too full to take passengers standing in the PARKING SHUTTLE area TWICE!!!! I waited for over 40 minutes to get a shuttle to my car. I will never again use KECK as my parking service in Des Moines. I will use JET from now on. read more

Keck Airport parking is the best! I experienced a 4 hour flight delay traveling solo with a 4 yr old. They helped me find my car, shovel it out, and push it out of the stuck snow filled spot. They are constantly running shuttles so I never have more than a few minutes wait. During peak travel I recommend pre-booking a parking spot they will sell out! read more

Parking at the airport at 6a and returning from a flight at 11:30p sounds like a vortex of suck. Strangely enough with Keck Parking, it is nearly a magical experience. I got out of my car and suddenly the Keck parking shuttle is right behind my car, lest I should walk an extra step. An extremely friendly driver greeted me and then zoomed off to save another parker from over-exertion. Also, when he had picked everyone up, he got on the loudspeaker and explained every detail of the process for getting a return shuttle which is simultaneously considerate and hilarious because it's the Des Moines Airport...you can only get so confused. Additionally, he offered free Sudoku books to everyone which was also extremely generous. I couldn't believe this man was so delightful! On the way back I was so tired and thought surely the driver for the return trip at nearly midnight would not have the same pluck as the first driver. I was wrong. I was the only person on the shuttle and he took off right away. He even stopped the shuttle as we were pulling out from the baggage claim area because he thought someone else was coming, which was very considerate and told me he cared about the service he was giving. He dropped me off to my car and as I pulled up to the window to pay, I was sure I'd get some grunting cashier who hated their life. But once again their customer service surprised me as a young, alert, pleasant man rang me up and let me out, even making a joke as I pulled away. Having just moved from a big city, I did not expect this level of customer service for parking and it re-affirmed my love of the way Iowans treat each other. Additionally, the price was reasonable (though admittedly I get a small discount through my work) and I didn't feel fleeced. read more

Having recently moved back to Iowa, we had an unexpected return to Las Vegas with only a days notice. After seeing that the airport long term parking was $12 a day, I remembered KECK PARKING was right across the street from the airport. Their website was informative, but I called to confirm some information and the woman who answered was friendly and had all the information I needed. For $6 a day, we decided to try them out. We pulled into the lot, which is super easy to spot when driving down Fluer Drive, and picked a spot to park. It had snowed the day before and I was worried we would have to wait a while, but the shuttle driver pulled up directly behind our car in 2 MINUTES! The drive across the road to the airport was fast and easy and when we returned a shuttle was waiting outside to take us immediately to our car too. You know the dread of sitting on a shuttle until they fill up completely? Well, our driver immediately shut the doors once we sat down and took us right to our car. All of the drivers and the check out person were polite, professional and friendly. You would be crazy to pay double elsewhere when this great service exists read more

Excellent times 1,000,000! Great staff and services for an CHEAPER price! As indicated, the shuttle arrived to my car within minutes. I opted for the $5 "start your car" service (although I wish it was warm, they will detail your car during the summer!) Really I used the service for my sanity;) I didn't want to take the chance of losing my keys while traveling. I realized I may have forgotten to lock my car as soon as we arrived at the airport. I asked the gentleman if he would just dive by and make sure it was locked--and without hesitation he reassured me he would! Then when arriving at my terminal, I realized I had forgotten my carry on! I was so embarrassed but he just picked a few people up, and we made a trip back. He helped every single person with their luggage! He took me to my car and then I was reassured I locked it. Got me to the airport just in time! When arriving back I was nervous I would have to wait for a shuttle but RIGHT outside the door, there was a shuttle waiting! My car was right up front and it took no time at all to get out of there, and the girl running the gate was so pleasant! I would highly recommend Keck's to anyone! Not just for the much lower fee--but for the customer service, security with staff onsite 24/7, excellent location and timeliness, and of course--the free crossword!! read more

I used Keck Parking all the time when flying in and out of Des Moines. It's honestly not very far from the airport, and the shuttle was always quick to pick me up as well as take my bag for me. Each driver has always been friendly, usually striking up a conversation about your trip. The lot is HUGE, so you'll never have trouble finding a spot. Just make sure to remember where you parked. This happened to me once where I was so tired from my return flight that I blanked entirely. But as I was the only person on the shuttle, I just told the driver what color, make, and model car I had and he kept an eye out. We found it soon enough. The only thing I'd suggest is having covered parking available. Coming back to a car caked in snow was irritating at times. Still, I would use Keck again if I still lived in Des Moines. read more

Keck is a great company with great employees and services! The parking is super reasonable and they own a few garages/lots in the area. There is a shuttle service which is fantastic and very convenient! This lot is also super easy to find and convenient! Much better than other area parking! read more

We kept our car at Kecks for 15 days. We didnt wait at all for the van either going or coming back. The drivers and the gate staff were friendly and courteous. We plan to use them whenever we need parking for trips that take us via DSM! Thanks! read more

Keck gets a gold star from us. We left our car there for ten days in August. When we got back, we found plastic garbage socks taped to all of our windows. For some reason, our windows were all wide open. Apparently, our key fob will open all the windows if buttons are pushed a certain way. We must have done that while it was in a pocket.. They discovered that and covered them for us. It had rained many times during the time we were gone and it would have made a terrible mess to come home to. It is our understanding that they do that any time they see windows open. We will always use Keck when we fly from Des Moines! read more

I will fly out of DM especially in the winter simply because of Keck. They pick you up at your car and deliver you to the front door at the airport and take you back to your car when you get back. They help with your luggage and cleaning snow off your car. The cost is reasonable (less than the close in at the airport) especially with the service provided. They sometimes offer free newspaper in the early morning or free hand sanitizer. read more

Keck parking advertises that they are 1/2 the price of Airport parking but DSM Airport parking is $5.00 a day. Keck is a rip off. I'll park at the DSM Airport economy 1 for now on- never parking at Keck again! Save money- PARK AT ECONOMY 1! It is the CHEAPEST in the midwest! read more

Love having the Keck shuttle pick me up at my car and deliver me back there when I come back. Extra nice in the winter. Recently had a chance to realize just how far their customer service goes. When I returned from a 10-day trip, my car wouldn't start. They promptly dispatched someone with a super-duper piece of equipment that immediately got it going. Then, after I pulled up nearer to the exit, he filled my low tire with air so I could drive safely home. Great prices, convenient location, superb service...love it! read more
