After moving our items we asked the gentlemen at the desk who was on his phone the entire time and looked like he has no idea what was going on, if we needed to do anything further as we are first time renters. He said NO YOURE ALL SET! come to find out we needed to fill out a form and because we didn't we got charged an additional $25. Very poor communication and this guy working that morning needs additional training on move out procedures. Really disappointed because we referred multiple people to this facility but will be now telling people not to go here and we will certainly find another storage unit for the coming years my son attends college. I sure hope it was worth the $25 turning a happy customer into a VERY unhappy one.

The first time I had to leave cause the line was so long and when you are in the middle of moving you can waste precious time waiting in a line where only 1 person is working the counter, checking in trucks, and having to ask about 40 questions to every customer who is renting a truck. All I wanted to do is buy some boxes to make moving my record easy.. It ended up being quite the chore... The man working behind the counter stayed positive and kind to all the customers and the boxes worked great so I gotta give him a 5 stars on politeness and patience, but a 1 star for Uhal on only having 1 employee doing all the jobs on a busy Saturday.. The price does not include their "Value Coverage Option" which is forced on to you unless you carry your own fire and flood insurance coverage on the unit, this price has fluctuated every single month that I've had the unit! They never seem to answer the phone, they aren't open on Mondays, and unless you send your email to customersuccess@storagemart.com you will not get an answer back from them! Use Dino Storage on 14th by Walmart for comparable final prices (I had the smallest unit at StorageMart, not climate controlled, paying $5 less now at Dino Storage and getting double the size and climate controlled!)
