Paid $154 for Kee's Tailor to hem a bridesmaid dress, remove a stitch from the chest, and add a removable clasp so that I could have easy access to breastfeed. Picked up the dress and the hem was great but the stitch was never removed. So I paid extra for a service that was not done. I called to ask for a refund and the guy asked me to come in. I came in and explained what happened, and he just laughs and acts as if it wasn't his misunderstanding. There's an obvious language barrier as well. read more

Beware of poor quality service especially on expensive items. I had a custom made suede coat altered. When I looked at it at home, it had been glued on the hem inaccurately, the lining had black marks and a tiny hole, and the lining was sticking out from the slits at the bottom of the coat. He laughed and laughed at me. He said he did not do any of it wrong. The coat was pristine when given for alterations. He just kept laughing. and would not refund my money. He offered to fix it, but I did not trust him with this expensive fabric and coat. Beware of expecting quality service on anything that's more than hemming pants. read more

The first person made me make an appt and then when I got there, she said that it would be too much work and that I should just get a new dress (wow!) I quickly hopped on google and found Dong at Kee's Tailor and called him. He told me to come on by anytime so he can take a look at it, no appointment needed and so very welcoming! When I got to the store, he took the time to ask me how short/fitting I wanted the bridesmaid dress. His quote was cheaper than what the first person quoted me and he even said he can get it done whenever I needed! Highly recommend this shop for all your tailoring needs! I've used Kee's Tailor for several years and have always been happy with their work. Most jobs are simple, like hemming pants for my short legs. But recently I took a very expensive winter vest to see if Mr. Kim could possibly repair it. The vest collar, despite it's premium cost, had worn through thread bare in a couple of years. He advised it would be a lot of work, so his fee ran about 25% of the original cost of the vest. I picked up the vest today and Mr. Kim had done terrific work. It looked like an original part of the vest, with a fabric that will wear much better over time. read more

I brought them a sports coat, because I wasn't completely happy with the stitching on one of its sleeves. When he fixed it, he used a completely different stitching style than what was originally used on the other sleeve, just to tell me that he needs to "fix" the other one too, and of course he wanted to ask for more money. He didn't say a word about this when I dropped the coat off. He also shortened the cutout on the sleeve to look completely different, without asking me. Probably just because it was easier to do it that way. Just another incompetent tailor among many, except this one is a scammer too. Beware, I would not use Kee's services. read more

They clearly have a loyal customer base as I witnessed repeat customers come and go. Very misleading pricing. I was charged $100 to alter two newborn outfits since my daughter came 6 weeks early and we have family photos tomorrow. He said $123 and I told him that wouldn't work. So he said $100 discount but apparently meant he'd give me a discount and it will cost $100. Had a great experience. Dropped off a dress I bought in Vegas. It was too big in the hips and I needed it taken in. I also had some gems adjusted in the top.
