Really cool dive bar hidden slightly behind the shell gas station. Cute ambiance with tons of dollar bills all over the place. Kinda reminds me of the bars in Jamaica. The food is yummy, burgers are great and the service is really nice thanks to Carter and the chef. I honestly was pleasantly surprised. Mixed crowd; on Sunday night it was 90% people in their 20's with the remainder being 40 and up. Cool vibes either way and there's a pool table in addition to grabbing a bite and watching sports. Check em out and enjoy!

The Summary: Parking is hell, and when it's full it gets claustrophobic, but if you're there on slow days or get there early enough, they have very nice wings, the staff is an example of friendliness and the ambiance is very cozy for a sports bar. The Experience: you get there and they literally have 7 regular parking spots and one for the Handicap. on a Thursday or Friday night that means that you have to fight for one of the street spots. Once in, the location is really one of the smallest Keg Souths I've visited, but it makes it up by also being the one with the most efficient and organized staff. Even at its most packed the orders come out in order and it seems like every staff member can update you on the status of yours and give you a good estimate of how long it will take, which is very accurate. The wings are cooked nicely, with the perfect crispiness on the outside and very juicy on the inside... as far as I know they have only one flavor sauce, which is very, very standard, but it's not bad. The burgers look great, I just wish I remembered to order one before ordering the wings, instead of my usual mistake of just sitting to wait for my order to come out and then get my mouth watery watching a burger pass me by to go to the next table (of course it's being carried by a server, burgers here don't walk). They have a small but good variety of beers, and they are served perfectly chilled, though if there are enough of you, then agree on which beer you all like and go for a pitcher. I'd go more often if it weren't for the hassle of the parking.

You will never know this place is here if you didn't seek it out, but it's such an awesome dive bar definitely deserves recognition. When you walk in there's a pool table and dollar bills all over the walls. There's a small bar and TVs everywhere. The kitchen is behind the bar with only one man working it so the food did take a long time but it was worth it. Really fresh bar food , I had a burger that was delicious and cooked perfectly medium. The fries were awesome and the wings were fire. They have a pretty decent beer selection as well and even do pitchers. We played a lot of pool while we waited which pays in quarters. They're also seem to be a backyard garden, but I didn't have a chance to check that out. The service was great and will definitely be back to watch another game!

Loved this little gem that's been there since I was very young. The food is great and even though I like my wings crispy and fried their grilled wings are good. The burgers and food were very tasty. The best part was the COLD beer and Chef Jamie and Bobby. Great guys worth revisiting. They are accommodating and service oriented! Just awesome people. Really liked this place worth revisiting

My Backyard BBQ Chicken Breast Sandwich...so freaking delicious.

I only been here once before but my boyfriend surprised me with lunch today. It was so delicious. I had the backyard bbq chicken sandwich with potato chips and he ordered a 10 piece chicken wings with French fries. The service was pretty good considering it wasn't busy. The ambiance was fine for a sports bar atmosphere. I told him the next time we come I will try something new. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the Pincrest area. Two thumbs up

Loved Keg South. It's the true definition of a dive bar. Freezing cold beer, nice bartenders, and delicious wings. There isn't much more you can ask for.

What an incredible place. Such a low key joint. This place has Classic dive bar feel. I was the 1st one thru the door today. Greeted by Max, she was working the bar, and Jamie, he was working the grill. The beer is ice cold and the food is outrageous. Fresh cut French fries, amazing wings, and burgers that you can write home about. I went with a burger and beers today. Keep up the great job Keg South. I am a HUGE fan.

By far best wings in Miami! This hole in the wall bar & restaurant will really surprise you with their fantastic food! My go to order is the special grilled wings & a half order of hand cut fries! You can never go wrong with this order, but if you're craving a burger that's another great option! The best time to stop by is during the week for lunch, you're sure to get a table.

From the moment we sat down, the guy looked annoyed that we were there. Zero greeting, zero eye contact. We waited almost 10 minutes just to get acknowledged while he was chatting with another customers at the other end of the bar. When he finally took our order, he barely listened. I asked for a classic Old Fashioned and he brought me something that tasted like watered-down whiskey with too much bitters and a random orange slice thrown in. My friend's whiskey sour was unbalanced -- definitely not worth the $18 price tag. I politely mentioned to recommend us another drinks options he just shrugged and said "we don't have that" Not offer another choice or an apology. The drinks were mediocre at best, but his attitude made it worse. He ignored us most of the night and acted annoyed every time we ordered. Zero professionalism. The place has a great vibe but with service like this, is not worth to spend almost $200 dollars there for few drinks. I don't remember his name but he was tall, Latin and maybe from Colombia. We just wanted to report his behavior to management but in a Saturday's night you just don't want to ruined more. Next.

It is possible that the vibe of Sunset Tavern will not change much, but as we all know, it may never be the same. Sunset Tavern is one of those few places where it is just as good to go in the morning for a Bloody Mary and enjoying the scenery of South Miami, as it is to go at night, drink a beer and watch a live band perform. The ambiance is casual, the service is up to the challenge, and the price is reasonable. As the matter of, I went to Sunset Tavern last night. The name of the band playing was Electric Mayhem and they were absolutely outstanding. The energy and the chemistry between the band members, the song selection, and the talent of the musicians was off the chat. I have never been so mesmerized by a local band before, and I plan to go back and see them again. They perform in Sunset Tavern the first Saturday of every month. So, let's get into it: I don't know about you, but the one thing I do not enjoy doing is driving and circling around, being lost, just to find an establishment. So, I love that this restaurant is so easy to find with good signage, lots of nearby parking, both street and lots. Anywho, once I parked, the manager Judd was so friendly and kind and directed me to the table where my friend was seated. He overheard that I was kind of speaking loud over the music when I barely had a voice due to losing it from another event, so he kindly turned down the music for us. Once there, service was quick and attentive. I got a Fresh Paloma for my drink and the Seared Salmon for dinner. The drink was a good size and tasted good, no complaints there. As for the dinner, WOW. This was delicious, I would get this again. The flavors were there and the portions were just perfect (not too much and not too little, I usually never get enough or leave with leftovers). Also, not overpriced for Miami in my opinion. Aside from that, I did try some of my friend's off-menu pasta and it was really yummy. Furthermore, they have great weekly specials: (Note, subject to change. He said some of the scallops didn't taste as fresh as he'd have liked and they came alone without any side and sautéed mushrooms- which he doesn't eat- and my grilled chicken was a little tough/chewy. It was also a small cutlet. On the bright side, we both agreed that the sweet potato fries were delicious!
