Food was delicious and fresh. We ordered a chicken Caesar salad to share, this is a favorite! It's fresh, great Ingredients, creamy dressing and just overall perfect! We also had half Margherita and half pepperoni pizza, it was sooo good! Fresh, hot and cheesy! It came with a pink beet aioli sauce and we loved it! We've been to the Craft restaurants here and in Coconut Grove quite a few times, always for brunch & breakfast. The few times we came here, we sat on the fan cooled shaded patio, which is nice but adjacent to unsightly and sometimes loud construction! Not their fault, however we were forced outside despite plenty of open tables inside. Why? Despite this, it's an upscale feel in BeAuTiFul South Miami. Staff is always cordial and the atmosphere is relaxing and easy like Sunday morning. (Today is Friday early afternoon) street metered parking. The menu has something for everyone with some unique, some healthy & some splurges. There are happy hours and specials, too. Today I had falafel salad, at an eye rolling $20! It was an enjoyable salad, regular portion but falafel was overfired and too dry. I still enjoyed it, and hubby finished the last bites. He ordered a delicious matcha and margherita pizza with added short rib. Nice big portion, was overall enjoyable but he found their thick pizza dough overpowering. Last trip I ordered the LOCO, a fantastic splurge of chicken & waffles plus a few unique touches at a bigger price point. Not a huge portion, but still I Highly recommend! I would have ordered a regular iced tea, but there are NO complimentary refills! I H8 chintzy things at an upscale establishment! Craft People: just charge a buck or two more for those wanting refills. So... *Expert tip-just ask for lemon or lime for your water carafe OR spend on a specialty drink and skip the regular tea! Our bill for two lunches and one matcha was a whopping $70. It's a splurge, but that's what you will pay in this area for a luxury table waited brunch experience. Still, Craft needs to up the game a bit when we are practically sat in a construction zone. Again, why SO MANY empty inside tables on an 89 degree day, but you make us eat in the heat near a construction zone?! Hopefully it will be rectified soon! When it actually gets cold in Miami, you realize how few places feel truly "cozy." Craft South Miami is one of them. The vibe is super casual and family-friendly, none of that Miami pretension, and (thankfully) none of the crazy Miami prices either. It's actually affordable for a change. I was there during this weird cold snap, and Agustin (barista/bar tender) saved the day with a warm decaf cappuccino. I paired it with an alfajor, and if you haven't soaked a dulce de leche cookie in coffee foam yet, you're doing it wrong. As someone who loves that Argentinian flavor, it was a total 10/10. We had to try the signatures * The Argentina: This one has short rib, tomatoes, and cheese. It's a really interesting twist--the meat was super tasty and hearty. It wasn't my #1 of the night, but if you're a meat lover, it's definitely worth a shot. * Truffle Prosciutto: This was the winner for me. It's a white sauce base, super cheesy, and the truffle smell hits you before the plate even lands on the table. It blends so well with the smoky prosciutto. My only tiny gripe was it was a little salty, but honestly, it's a total temptation. You won't be able to stop at one slice. You cannot leave without having their signature beetroot dip. It's basically their calling card and it's what makes the meal feel "Craft." It's the main reason I'll keep coming back. Huge thanks to Flor, she was so attentive. I had heard great things about CRAFT in South Miami and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Came for brunch and they had just recently opened for the day. Seems like a lot of people do reservations, but we were able to get a quick table. I ordered a cappuccino and my friend ordered a sangria. She said it was delicious. Cappuccino was very nice. The starter we got the goat cheese croquettes in a bed of honey. They were really delicious. I ordered the potato rosti -thick, crispy, hash, brown, covered in sliced avocado, crispy bacon, poached egg, and a tomato relish with a side of arugula salad oh my God I was highly recommended and amazing! My friend ordered pepperoni pizza super delicious as well. For dessert we ordered the flan with dulce de leche and yummm!! I've eaten before at another location of this chain, and was pleasantly surprised to find this one near a recent meeting I attended. I ended up ordering from Uber Eats, and I'm guessing this is why this is only a four star review. I've always said that the best sandwiches are the messiest ones and the prosciutto caprese I enjoyed from Craft was no exception! My prosciutto sandwich, stuffed with fresh greens, mozzarella, tomato and even a creamy aioli on a soft baguette was delicious and filling. They included a ketchup serving & sweet potato fries. As I mentioned, I ordered it through Uber Eats and it appears this is why I had to hold back a star. There were no napkins or utensils included, and my fries were a little soggy. I had such a great meal at Craft! The first thing I have to mention is the outdoor seating it's so comfortable and inviting. Sitting outside felt relaxed and just perfect for enjoying a nice meal. The food was honestly amazing. The chicken sandwich was juicy and full of flavor, and the falafel sandwich was crispy on the outside and super tasty inside. Both were the kind of sandwiches you can't stop thinking about. And the NAPOLITANA pizza? Absolutely delicious... cheesy, flavorful, and with a crust that was just the right mix of soft and crisp. First visit to CRAFT South Miami this past Sunday morning for brunch and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is centrally located on Sunset Drive in a very pretty area, and the space is clean, bright, and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that CRAFT is an Argentinean-owned concept, originally founded in Argentina and now thriving here in South Florida. It was a beautiful, sunny Sunday, so we opted to sit outside, which made for a perfect brunch setting. Even though we arrived during the peak of the Sunday brunch rush, the staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful, and we were seated almost immediately with minimal wait. We started with lattes, which were excellent. For food, I had the French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon, and ErikaB ordered the fried chicken and waffles and everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Service was fine but they charged an 18% gratuity automatically on the check with a party of only 3 people. Why? I told the server that's not smart for the business to do that because he actually got gypped. I always give at least 20%. The restaurant had a cool casual vibe, but we felt the food was just ok. Craft is a cute, quaint spot located in the heart of South Miami. Definitely one of those hustle and bustle locations where you can visit and walk around after. Though there is no designated parking lot right in front of the restaurant you should be able to find one within the vicinity. Inside the restaurant has a cozy feel to it. I also loved how they had outdoor patio seating where you can soak up some sun and enjoy some neighboring scenery. Menu selection is pretty great! I was super ambivalent but opted for brunch and it was pretty good, nothing particularly stood out though. My friend said her pizza was amazing so I may tap into that on my next visit. Service was okay. It didn't start off the most attentive but it got better so I'd describe the service as "okay" overall. The real star of the show is the 25 dollar BOTTOMLESS mimosas guys served all day every day (with time limit) and with a chilled glass too! Now I do want to forewarn you it's one of those situations where you make it yourself using the sparkly + juice they provide (which could be a good or bad thing depending on your preference). We ordered : two coffees & a Nutella croissant first round Waited for the server to eventually come back , then we ordered : Spicy Chicken sandwich (was recommended by the server) & a breakfast sandwich The coffees were served with the food, even though we ordered them before , and they were warm/ cold... (croissant never came) The chicken sandwich was so dry it was crispy .. The breakfast sandwich came out wrong , my husband ordered an over easy egg , they gave him scrambled ... Once we finished eating we reminded the guy to bring us the croissant & he brought us a regular croissant... At this point we honestly were just done , so we asked for the bill and left . From all their locations, this was the easiest one to find parking. Simple and delicious! We had 2 different type of burgers and a Margherita Pizza with Mushrooms added to it. Our server gave us a Beet type of Hummus texture sauce to dip it with the pizza but mhmmmm no beet flavor whatsoever so I just set it aside. Highly Recommended! Ps.
