It's shity service. She did not know what she was doing. Eyelashes are like your eyebrows, they define your face. You fuck up and you can't fix it. It was my first time here, I told the tech exactly what I wanted. Full set, small and big lashes alternating. 14mm length and I even brought a lash model for her. She said okay, I can do a 3D lash set, (where 3 lashes will be together small and big alternating) which was extra and it came to $100 And this is what I got, Some lashes fell out within a couple hours. Most of them are glued to my actually eyelash which is completely wrong and damaging. And one eye has more lashes than the other, it's not 3D and this is definitely not a full set read more

Let me tell you, I got my lashes done by Stella and not 3 hours later, some psychopath sprayed a noxious substance (likely bear or pepper spray) into a crowd I was in. My eyes burned and watered and and I had to get a friend to pour water into them to flush them out. I was blind for about 10 minutes. HOWEVER I didn't lose a single lash amidst all this. Had extensions done by Keiko herself and never going back again. I came here because the price is very attractive, but just as many things in life, you have to pay to get quality (extensions). I had a picture of how I had it done before, and Keiko still had me choose the extensions myself from a "chart". I chose as best I could but still asked her to confirm that the look will be the same. After a very short (40 min) application I looked in the mirror and was extremely disappointed: instead of the curled look that would open up my eyes that I wanted, I got a drooping look that made my eyes look smaller. The extensions were put by 2-3 lashes, not individually, and both my eyes burned significantly during the procedure. The lashes starting falling out the next day, even though I followed the protocol (again, not my first time). As a side note, Keiko had a cigarette to smoke when I came in for my scheduled appointment, and hovered over me with a smelly breath (not to mentioned smelly fingers on my eyes). Needless to say, going back to my original, albeit more expensive, place. read more

Got my first eyelash extensions done here by Keiko herself. To start, this is run out of a residence which was absolutely fine with me. The place was a bit small but hey, they got the job done. Customer service was mediocre. To be honest, I was expecting a little more friendliness but good thing my friend was there so I felt less awkward and tried not to pay too much attention to it. The procedure itself was OKAY. Keiko was very quick. I did wish she would have tell me what she was doing or be more instructive, such as "turn your head, close your eyes, etc." rather than turning my head herself. Maybe it's just me. I also felt very rushed... Keiko was a few minutes late whereas I was 5-10 mins early as they requested. She also didn't know that I was her client. Anyways, it was painless and I fell asleep for a bit during the procedure. The lashes - I got "natural long" eyelashes in silk. I believe she mixed the 12 and 13? Honestly, I hated them. My friend loved them though but I think I should have been more descriptive with Keiko about what I wanted. The lashes were very dramatic whereas I am a minimalist and simple. The lashes were WAY too long for me. They curved downward and into my eye. Everytime I blinked, it was extremely uncomfortable because it would rub against my eye and my contacts! Or the lashes would twist and turn and poke my eye! I was debating on coming back to take them off! The lashes also made my eyes look veryyyyyyy dopey. I was hoping for the cat eye look to elongate my eyes - instead, my eyes seemed smaller and rounder. I did my lashes about 8 days ago. A lot of my extensions fell out... They look a lot more natural now which I assume Keiko knew would happen and overloaded me with eyelashes in the beginning. But, I'm a bit concerned because I was under the impression that eyelash extensions could last about 4-5weeks? If this is what it looks like after one week I'm a bit iffy about doing extensions in general. In general, price is good compared to the competitors. You get what you pay for. I got my eyelashes done here because the prices were reasonable. Well, you get what you paid for. My lashes were done by a junior technician. I guess the girl has less experience than the rest. It was clearly evident. I felt an eyelash in my eye on the ride home and once I reached, I was surprised to see one eyelash in the inner part of my upper eyelid. No wonder why I kept tearing up. I took tweezers and pulled it out myself. Eek. During that day, my eyelashes were falling out one by one . And by the end of the week, 2/3 of my eyelashes fell out. I will not go back, however I must say, the gentlemen receptionist is very kind and professional. The bathroom is cute: it's hello kitty themed. Went a few times bc price was enticing but their work is not good, even Keiko herself ruined my lashes for vacation. It was so bad, she didn't fill it all the way to each end so my eyes looked like sweepers and the place smells like smoke, when the lashes are applied she poked it in onto my eyelid so that when your eyelashes grew out it would irritate your eyes bc the glue was stuck to the skin. I have been going to this place for a year and a half because they have great prices for classic fills. I brought in a lot of my friends who either go here, or have tried it out because I told them to. Erika is the best in my opinion where she would give the fullest looking lashes, and all of the staff members are so sweet to me. The last time I went, I had discomfort and irritation since my natural lashes were constantly being tugged on during the session. I wrote sent them a text to share my experience, but instead I got blocked. I was unsure if they did block me so I tried to book in for a fill through Facebook and explained how I was not trying to be rude but just voicing my last experience with them for a future heads up since the same thing happened to my friend. I have been going to them for a while and I knew if I got a fill with Erika I would have had a good experience. Instead, they just read my message and ignored me. Prices are amazing! My lashes last about 2.5 weeks before I need a refill. It's because I take super hot showers, and I run outside during the rain, wind and snow. To compare, I've been to other lash places and it only lasts a week. Kana is my lash technician and she's great! I recommend getting 3D lashes. They get pretty busy so book a couple weeks in advance. I would not go back to this place. First of all, I'm not sure what those previous reviews are saying. This place is NOT a shop, it is a HOUSE. It is not a legal business but rather, a front room with two cots on the floor, and Keiko and two workers who work over you with desk lamps. And don't believe them when you call and say that their refills are done for everyone. Because when you get there is when they inform you the refills can only be done for their lashes but it is real cheap to do theirs and then the refills will just be cheaper from here on in. Sure, the lashes look great, but then they start poking at you and you develop an infection/rash above your eye. A friend of mine had her lashes done at keikos and I loved the way they looked. I texted to make an appointment which is convenient and earns bonus points for me. After a few questions over text I received a call from the gentleman that runs the front desk. He was extremely helpful and professional. I felt confident after our phone call. I knew from other reviews that keiko was located in a home. It was a little difficult to find.. No signage or anything just pink fabrics and trinkets in the window. Parking isn't an issue as Keiko is located right across from a grocery store and a drug store. When I arrived Keiko was manning the desk. She informed me that she only accepted cash. I wasn't aware of this so I had to run to the grocery store and get cash back. Not a huge deal but definitely something that should be mentioned upon booking. I agree with the previous poster that Keiko had a slight tobacco scent on her hands. Nothing offensive. She asked me questions about length, curl, mink or silk etc. I opted for size 14 silk lashes. Keiko was extremely fast. My entire appointment took about 45 minutes. At the end she informed me that my one eye has less lashes so that was why they looked a bit uneven. The lashes do look great but I can notice a slight difference between my eyes. Otherwise, for the price Keiko can't be beat. She is extremely accommodating, affordable and knowledge. This is the absolute WORST lash extension provider I've ever been to. Kieko is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL in her business practices and policies. Her lash application technique is VERY POOR at best. I had at least 5 lashes falling out daily after our appointment and I had followed her instructions for after care. I've been getting my lashes done for over 5 years and have tried several different places - Kieko's Lashes is by FAR the WORST. Don't waste your time or your money. Here is why: 1. After my lash appointment I was losing at least 5 lashes daily from the same eye and continued to lose lashes from both eyes afterwards on a daily basis. This was an excessive amount of lashes to be losing on a daily basis after your initial application. This has never happened with other lash providers before. 2. She failed to tell me about her business policy for fixes. Her policy: She only offers Free Fixes within 2-3 days of your appointment. When I let her know 3 days and 2 hours after my initial appointment that something is wrong with her lash job because I was losing about 5 lashes from the same eye a day, she then mentions her policy to me and has the nerve to still enforce it! 3. She admitted by text message that she forgot to mention her policy for free fixes to me at the time of my appointment, yet proceeded to enforce the policy that she didn't tell me about anyway. She told me that she would not fix the lash job without charging me and then offered to charge me the $20 quick fix refill price (on top of the $70 I already paid!) to fix the crappy job she did in the first place. WOW...talk about REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. 4. She again failed to mention another policy she is firm on enforincg but conveniently doesn't bring up until a later conversation about lash fix appointments have to be schedule within 2-3 days. Instead of upholding customer service and fixing her poor lash job, she continuously argued her point even though she admitted that it was her fault numerous times. 5. She felt it was illogical for me to bring up to her that the lash job was not satisfactory after 3 days because it was beyond a the policy she forgot to mention to me at the time of my appointment. Speaking of illogical! Here is a AWESOME recommendation for Lash extension professionals that I've used who have excellent service and do a MUCH MUCH MUCH better lash job. Probably the BEST lash application I've ever had done. She's also consistent every time and stands behind her service. I went to Keiko's for 3 years straight! The only reason I've had to stop is due to distance. Even for those 3 years I drove from uptown to downtown for eyelash refills every 3 weeks. but when I moved even further north I had to stop. Since then I've been to 3 other eye lash technicians.. I think it is safe to say that Keiko is still my top choice when it comes to speed, precision, and price. No one beats Keiko's prices and her confidence is noticeable once you've been to a few others. Her lashes are Japanese style and don't all necessarily curl up into a C, however you can get the volume for an extra fee. I went here because my lash tech is on vacation and I was recommended to go here. Absolutely atrocious. It is located in a house that is filthy. You walk into the living room where they have a small waiting area and then there's a cot on the floor where there is a tech squatting while doing someone's lashes. My appointment was on the second floor. The stairs going up are COVERED in dirt, the beige carpet is black/grey. I don't know why I didn't run out screaming but I for some reason proceeded with my appointment. I chose a "pro" level lash tech because my usual girl is a star and I assumed this "pro" would be up to her level or at least close. Not the case. My lashes are so bad. The tech glued 1 lash extension to 2 or sometimes 3 of my natural lashes so now they feel itchy and uncomfortable. There should only be 1 extension per natural lash or in the case of a volume set, 2 extensions per 1 natural lash. For the first day my eye lids were so uncomfortable that my eyes were red and puffy. I had to even remove some of them to alleviate the swelling. On top of this, the lashes are all criss crossed and look terrible and fake. Thankfully my amazing tech is back on June 1st. I got my eyelashes done last Thursday, although i had a previous set on and loved the way they were done my junior technician insisted that she couldn't do then the same way because my eyelashes were to short for my 14mm length. Ive had my previous set on for going on 6 weeks and had NO problems. Where i get my lashes done were to far and i needed a " refill " but couldn't get one done there. I'm HIGHLY disappointed in the fact that my technician didn't achieve the look i wanted OR even felt like it was okay to tell me the look i wanted she couldn't do. Its now been a few days short of a week and my eyelashes are clumping and fallong off. The place is clean and unique looking. Not like a usual salon type of environment. Employees there are all friendly and the pricing is good. I've been getting eyelash extensions for a few months but I normally do volume or hybrid else where. So when I went to Keikos I did a 3D mix with classic. It was okay if you only like classic. There was no volume lashes at all. And if they were added they were just 2 lashes onto one when it should be 3 lashes on one and fanned out nicely. The so called 3D lashes they added were just stuck together making it look like classic lashes. I would not recommend if you're looking for volume lashes. They do NOT do a good job for that. I found out about keiko through a friend that had gone there many times with surprisingly no issues but sadly my first time will certainly be my last. One the first day my eyelashes looked very nice and full but on the second day they started clumping together and no matter how much brushing I did they would still stay the same! Today is the fifth day that I've had these put on and already there is a very noticeable gap of a few eyelashes missing. Worried about how horrendous my eyelashes looked I began to do some research about eyelash extensions. I know that it is a bit late but at least now I am properly informed. Keiko took 30 mins each to do my eyelashes and also another 30 for my friends and when My friend said "you're so fast keiko" keiko responded with "not really"... Eyelash extensions are supposed to go 1 mm on your real eyelashes and only 1 single eyelash extension hair at a time ultimately leading to the 1.5 hours - 2 hours application process. My lashes were applied directly to my eyelid and each time a new one was applied I felt a poke but because I was uninformed as to how the professional process should've gone like I did not speak up. Applying lashes directly onto the eyelid affects the new lashes that are growing out and will leave someone very uncomfortable because they are being poked every time they blink because their eyelashes have to now grow out in a different direction. Also I noticed lashes on my pillow that did fall out were "stacked" meaning instead of applying single false lashes to single real lash they were applying 2 fake lashes to my eyelid and this way cuts corners so they can serve more people. I also brought a friend that day and the both of us told keiko it was our first time getting our eyelashes done and I am very disappointed in the results. I am going on vacation in 2 days and I am embarrassed to appear with these on my eyes. They are falling down, pointed in different directions, poking me when I close my eyes together and also some missing gaps. read more

I have been getting my eyelashes done at many places for over 3 years now. This was not a good experience at all. Keiko's fingers wreaked if some foul cigarette smell as she had them all over my eye area while applying the lashes. The whole process of removing previous lashes and applying new ones took less then an hour.. which I thought was weird because I didnt feeling any cleaning of my lashes before she applied new ones or any brushing along the way as a normal procedure would. I was surprised when I got up the lashes looked really good. But of course, whenever corners are cut you pay the price after. The lashes started to fall out so fast the day after. By the end of the week almost half of them have all fallen off. I am very good at maintaining them as I have been getting them for so long. What a waste of money. You think you're getting a deal but in thrnlong run you definitely aren't. The way she applies the lashes are completelyy wrong. She glues them to the tip of your eyelid while every professional technician I have been to brushes out my lashes and applies them properly so they grow out properly and actually last. I paid $110 for a full set and it's ony been a week and I have to go somewhere else to get a refill. Trust me, with a few more bucks you can get your lashes done PROPERLY in a way nicer and clean environment. Do not waste your money here and ruin your eyelash experience. read more

The first time I got my lashes done here was also the last time. As I arrived for my appointment, the technician told me she would have to rush my job and she'll do her best. I thought that was a suspicious start for the appointment yet I followed her upstairs to one of the rooms. Apparently the client before me was late so they were behind schedule and they needed to make up for lost time. As I was getting my lashes done the glue was getting into my eyes and burning them! I also paid for a semi-pro technician which means she had more experience. Leaving my appointment, I was disappointed with my quality but decided to see if they would grow on me. The very next day half my lashes fell out on one eye. My lash line also ached which was very strange because I never read about pain due to lash extensions. My lashes had no volume, was awkward spacing and pretty sparse. I messaged Kieko lashes to try to schedule a fix up appointment, yet they never would respond to my texts. Finally after a week of trying to get my lashes fixed I asked Kieko call me herself and she was by far the rudest person. She told me that since a week had passed my lashes could not be fixed because of "policy" even though they were the ones not messaging me back to set up an appointment. I had to send screenshots of our messages and pictures with time stamps and dates to prove they were terrible lash quality (I was taking pictures throughout just incase something like this would happen) At the end of the phone call Kieko agreed to fix them for free and then continued to tell me that I made myself look very bad and she doesn't want me as a client anymore after this. We scheduled my appointment for a few days later. Come that day there is a big snow storm and they say that have to move my appointment a few hours earlier due to technicians having to leave early. I say I cannot make the new time and have to cancel my appointment. The next day I message them to re-schedule the appointment and they tell me I have to pay a 25$ cancellation fee! Even though they are the ones who switched the times on me! Also I was only informed of the cancellation fee a day after my appointment was cancelled. Absolutely terrible lash quality and terrible customer service. I do not recommend. I give up on trying to get my lashes fixed. read more
