We chose this dental practice because it appeared in-network with our insurance before my first visit in March 2025. My husband was also an existing patient from the prior dentist and continued care after the ownership change. We only received a bill for our 2025 visits in December, after we had made multiple visits and therefore incurred out-of-pockets costs without our knowledge. The office initially offered to split the costs 50/50 due to the insurance confusion, but later reversed that offer. Instead, they informed us that we actually had an additional outstanding bill (that they waived as their version of a fair compromise). That did not reflect the original resolution discussed. The core issue was the lack of clear communication about the change in insurance status and how this led to unexpected out-of-pockets costs.

In my experience, Lopez recommended dental work that did not appear to be necessary. During my most recent visit, a tooth was damaged as part of a whitening procedure. When I returned to address the issue, he suggested it was caused by grinding rather than clearly explaining what went wrong or offering a satisfactory resolution. The way it is broken cannot be done by grinding. Easy physics. They also push X-rays at an excessive frequency as if they are taking selfies, which felt unnecessary and driven more by billing than patient care. On top of that, there was constant upselling throughout my visits, which came across more like a used car salesman's sales pitch rather than medical guidance. The overall office environment was also unprofessional. Loud country music was playing early in the morning in shared spaces, which made the visit uncomfortable and disruptive. This practice felt more focused on maximizing insurance billing and add-on services than on patient care. I hope others do their research before choosing this office. Not recommended!

She put in a molar that was bigger and thicker than that area could handle. I was so frustrated and scared that to went yo multiple other states ( CT, NY, NJ, CA, MA) to try and find help, but no one would help me. The pain was so intense that I thought I was going to die. During that time, I had to travel to several states until I finally reached the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey; there, they extracted the tooth that had caused me so much pain and suffering for so long. I had been tortured by many dentists; a Muslim dentist at Davenport Dental Care destroyed all my teeth and molars. She even claimed I had fluid on my brain--which struck me as very odd, since she was a dentist, not a neurologist--and referred me to some Indian doctors to have my brain "unscrewed," which terrified me.
