Dr. Raabe and his staff are wonderful! I made my way to him after being tossed around the dental community like a rag doll for severe jaw pain. He was the first Dr. to really hear me and feel for me. I cracked a tooth last week. Yep, right down the middle. Apparently, I've been stressed out and started clenching (not quite grinding) my teeth and *poof*, my tooth cracked. A call to Dr. Raabe's office led to them squeezing me in at lunchtime, and I was examined by his wonderful dental assistant and the diagnosis and work was performed by his co-worker Chris Harvan. The offices are clean, modern and high tech. Doctor Harvan showed me my giant cracked tooth on the computer screen at the chair, using a little camera on a pen like thingy..... While Dr. Raabe couldn't fit me in himself, he did stop by to say hello and see how I was doing. The work was explained to me quickly, an attempt to excavate and fill the crack, and to see if it went down to the root, which would necessitate a root canal. Fortunately, this fix seems to have worked, and now I'm heading back this week for a much more pleasant cleaning & exam. Plenty of novacaine and I was pain-free during the procedure and the numbing wore off in time for me to enjoy a hot dog at the Avalanche game that very night! They have a free parking lot and a good selection of magazines in the waiting room. The staff is so kind and it is clear from watching patient-staff interactions that they develop friendships with the people that they serve. read more

So I've just moved to Denver and needed to find a dentist anyway, but this morning my crown pinged off so that need became more immediate. I called Raabe Dentistry as they have cerec technology. I was searching for a new dentist and I am so glad that I picked Dr. Raabe's practice. They made me feel at home and comfortable as I am usually nervous and anxious at the dentist. The staff was very professional and prompt (and also nice to look at). I really appreciated not getting the "Hard Sell" on procedures that I didn't need. I've been a patient at Raabe Family Dentistry for two decades. How good do I feel going to a third-generation dentist? Good. Really good. The staff are fabulous from the doctors, office staff, and dental professionals. I've had problems arise on a weekend and Dr. Raabe called me and then met me on a Sunday. I've been to a lot of different dentists in my life. I had a great dentist from my early adulthood to early middle-age, but he retired some years ago, and since then I've found that finding a good dentist isn't easy. One tried to convince me that every single one of my fillings had to be replaced, and then wanted to do an expensive procedure I'd never heard of on all of my teeth. Another was so crippled with arthritis that he had to have a large staff to actually do all the work on his patients, and was therefore very expensive. The Raabe practice is very different. They're highly accommodating when it comes to scheduling, always trying to fit urgent visits into their day on short notice. They have never tried to sell me a procedure I didn't need. They're efficient, but very personable, and show genuine concern for their patients. (They even sent me a sympathy card when my father passed away; I've never heard of a dentist doing anything like that before.) Convenient location, free parking, pleasant office, excellent care, very high-tech -- this is a first rate practice in every way. read more
