We paid unexpected out-of-pocket costs because the practice changed ownership and insurance participation without notifying us while we were receiving care. We were not informed at any point that we might be out-of-network despite providing our insurance information multiple times. We chose this dental practice because it appeared in-network with our insurance before my first visit in March 2025. My husband was also an existing patient from the prior dentist and continued care after the ownership change. We only received a bill for our 2025 visits in December, after we had made multiple visits and therefore incurred out-of-pockets costs without our knowledge. The office initially offered to split the costs 50/50 due to the insurance confusion, but later reversed that offer. Instead, they informed us that we actually had an additional outstanding bill (that they waived as their version of a fair compromise). That did not reflect the original resolution discussed. The core issue was the lack of clear communication about the change in insurance status and how this led to unexpected out-of-pockets costs. read more

Buyer beware. My daughter and I came in as new patients, I called to set the appointment up and of course asked if they accepted our insurance. I was told yes, and after our services they said they do not accept our insurance. Today I received the outraged bills for a cleaning and X-ray, which would have been covered. Definitely a sour pill as they could have made it right and not charged us as it was their mistake or lied about accepting our insurance. read more

If the thought of going to the dentist causes you anxiety, Dr McGlone and his team have your back. I can be childishly squeamish in the presence of needles - specifically the needle used to numb the mouth. Marisol noticed this and offered a stress ball to squeeze with one hand, and she offered her hand for me to squeeze with the other. It genuinely helped. But if being coddled is not your cup of team, I have no doubt they would give you whatever space you need. Regarding the venue, it is a combination of exposed original brick and clean white walls. Nautical themed artifacts decorate the waiting room, restroom, and patient spaces. (Probably a shout out to Dr McGlone's Florida roots.) The bathroom has clean white hand towels for you to dry off your hands. How spa-like. During my initial consultation, Dr McGlone took photos of my mouth for us to view on his lap top. If you have never seen photos of your teeth, it is an interesting perspective. I requested he switch out my vintage metal fillings for clean white ones. Recovery was quick. Had my a trouble wisdom tooth pulled by Dr. McGlone. I paid out of pocket and he charged me next to nothing. 155$ including the exam. I am some one who struggles daily with anxiety and panic attacks. I'm certain I was not the easiest person to deal with. But the compassion and patience that Dr. McGlone and his staff treated me with was incredible. They didn't give up on me. I feel so lucky that I was able to go to McGlone. Pulling a wisdom tooth is no joke. And if I had had a less skilled dentist I'm sure I would have suffered exponentially more. I highly recommend Dr. McGlone for your dental care. I just moved to the Denver area and was in need of a new dentist - however, I struggle with significant anxiety at the dentist so it can be very difficult for me to find a dentist I feel comfortable with. The previous reviews were reassuring, and I can now say my personal experience was nothing short of amazing. His staff is very friendly and he did a great job putting me at ease. He does the cleaning and exam himself, which I also appreciated. I felt like the exam was thorough and not at all rushed. I had time to ask questions and he listened and provided thoughtful answers. I have already referred my significant other to him and I plan to return for my next visit. Also worth noting was that the scheduling was very easy and convenient! They were able to schedule me for a new patient appointment the day after I called. The price point is also incredible. For my cleaning, exam AND xrays with no insurance, it was $100. read more

I'm so glad my mama referred me to Dr McGlone! After a bad experience with my prior dentist, I put off visiting the dentist's office for over a year. So I was a bit gun shy during my visit, I guess you could say. The first thing I noticed was that the receptionist had streaks of blue in her hair. Nice to see a doctor's office that's a little more casual while still professional. I also liked the fact that my entrance paperwork included questions about why I left my former dentist and what was most important to me for this visit. I think that's the first time a medical professional has asked me those questions and it set a great tone for the whole visit. I said I wanted empathy and education, and boy did Dr McGlone deliver! I learned that soda is even worse for your teeth than I thought. I learned why electric toothbrushes are superior to hand brushes and that there are different kinds of flosses for different kinds of mouths. I LOVED that he showed me pictures of my teeth (not just x rays) so I could see exactly what he was talking about during the exam. I liked that I didn't feel pressured into any procedures that I didn't need and I never felt like I was being "upsold" the way many commercial dental offices do (a few years ago I was told all the teeth were going to fall out of my mouth if I didn't have a special $2000 laser cleaning). When I told Dr McGlone that the xray bite wings are always uncomfortable for me, he made sure to make the x rays ad quick as possible. He always responded when I flinched in the chair. As much as I'm not looking forward to getting a filling in the next couple of weeks, I'm super relieved to know I'll be in capable hands. read more

When my old Dentist retired I had anxiety about finding another. My first visit with Dr. McGlone was earlier this week. Dr. McGlone actually did the cleaning which was a surprise and a new experience. His Assistant did the polishing. Another new experience was the Dr. McGlone took pictures of my teeth and I could see the condition of old filling. My teeth were a little sorer than cleaning from my previous dentist but I suppose that means they are thorough. Hands down the best Dentist in Denver. This location had been around for over 2 years now and they have 5 stared the entire experience. Margie at reception is an angel and will make you feel like you are talking to a family member. Their office has plenty of parking since it sits directly across from a Burger King. The inside has been decorated beautifully and even has an enormous 3 sail wooden model sailboat to marvel at in the foyer. Margie was booked up when I called but was able to squeeze me in as I had been in a abundance of pain. I had called a few other places to see what prices were like for a cavity filling and this place has better rates then the competition. Dr. McGlone is a master of dentistry and will keep your mind at ease while he works methodically and precisely in all the nooks and crannies of your mouth. I left with my expectations exceeded, and feel a ton better. My only regret was not coming to see him sooner. If you have a different dentist then you are missing out. read more

Dr. McGlone fixed my two front teeth! :) I knocked them out when I was a kid and have had crowns on them ever since. The crowns never looked right - it was always very obvious they were fake. Other dentists agreed that they looked off, but they weren't willing to do anything to fix them (like change their shape or size) unless I was willing to get new crowns. But Dr. McGlone dove right in and fixed them in 10 mins - now they actually match my real teeth that are next to the crowns. I wish I had found Dr. McGlone years ago!! (I should add, that he does a great job on the more routine stuff too, like cleanings. And his fancy in-mouth camera really helps you see problem spots in your teeth, so you know where to focus your brushing/flossing. The office is very bright and cheery and clean, and scheduling and dealing with insurance has been a breeze.) Dr. McGlone's practice is a great addition to the neighborhood!! read more

Meg is the esthetician, she is so pleasant and professional, and so far I have had her shape and tint my eyebrows, and today I had a pumpkin facial peel. It was amazing! I have had many dentists in my life as a result of moving around, and I can say without a doubt Dr. McGlone is one of the best. I first visited his practice when it was located on Colorado Blvd but I just love the new location on Evans near S Broadway. It is bright, clean, and friendly and because they see one patient at a time, you always feel like you're getting VIP treatment. Dr. McGlone and his team are personable and professional. Appointments are easy to make and they send you friendly reminders. They make a lot of effort to ensure you feel comfortable while there and at ease. McGlone takes a lot of pride in his dental practice as evidenced by the meticulous attention he pays to providing a cleaning as well as the advice he gives to help you maintain healthy teeth and gums. I had to have a cavity replaced and I was not looking forward to it. But, I barely felt the novacaine injection let alone the necessary drilling and all that went into replacing a 30 year old cavity and I was out of there in under an hour. I was in tremendous pain and needed in to see a dentist ASAP. I live/work in the area and was pleased Dr. Mcglone was available to see me the same day within an hours notice. I have never felt so disregarded he seemed more like a sleazy salesman rather than a dentist. After x rays, poking around in mouth all while I was trying to stay composed he determined I just needed a $600 mouth guard. No. I was in pain and it radiated into my ear and neck. Maybe they see a lot of "drug seekers" in that area or office but thats how I was treated. Luckily, I was able to get in with a dentist in Colo. Springs the next morning who was recommended by a friend and I ended up having a tiny fracture on that tooth with a abscess that had spread into my jaw bone. Dr. Mcglone did not use a panoramic X-ray to my knowledge so maybe thats how he missed it but his bed side manor was unprofessional, his assistants seemed inexperienced and he had no compassion I was a level 8-9 in pain he just wanted to sell me a mouth guard because he doesn't do root canals. read more

I had been going here and was happy. I went in last week because of a sore tooth. I thought it might be because I had caught myself clinching my teeth sometimes. He took a look and said he thought it was from clinching my teeth. The mouth guard he gave me did no good. He also said there was a start of a cavity between my two top front teeth and said see the hole. The pain just kept getting worse. The next week I went to another Dentist somewhere else for a second opinion. I told this dentist the same thing and that I was told I have the start of a cavity between my two top front teeth. She first checked for the start of the cavity and said there was no sign of a start of a cavity or a cavity. She did a more through exam and found that the root canal in the tooth next to the one in question was failing and abscessed. The abscess was moving to the tooth that was in question. I'm glad I went and got it checked. It was nice while it lasted but I think I'm going to be happy at my new dentist. read more
