My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Nowicki and was very comfortable with him and his staff, so I decided to take a chance on him as I was not having any luck with my last dentist (,son took over , lots of problems with his work,). After a handful of visits, I decided I finally had to take the time to leave a review for Dr. Nowicki and his team. I had just spent years going to a dentist I really did not enjoy visiting. Playing technician roulette, wondering who I would get and how rough would it be that day. It was a classic 'I hate the dentist' experience. Then, a friend of my mom's recommended Dr. Nowicki to her. She had her first visit and she told me right after that I would definitely want to go there too. So I decided to switch it up. Such a great decision. I can actually say I enjoy visiting the dentist now, because Dr. Nowicki and his team are not only great at what they do, but they are great people as well. From day one, I've felt very welcomed by Dr. Nowicki's office and similarly to Olive Garden, when you're there you feel like family (you really do). Every technician I've had has been very friendly and provided a great cleaning along with great care advice and answers to my questions. Not only that, but the team will take the time to help you out. During a regular cleaning visit, it was discovered I needed a minor filling. Instead of making me schedule something out, Dr. Nowicki went out of his way to squeeze in the minor filling right then and there for me. Lastly, I'd just like to elaborate on how kind doctor and his team are. I've had great conversations and I truly have received helpful care advice that was not previously provided by my old office or taken the time to be given. So it's the little things like that that let me know I've found my permanent dentist office while I live in the metro Detroit area. Dr. Keith Nowicki is the best of the best for dentistry. I've been a patient for more than 20 years and drive 50 miles to have exceptional care and professional treatment. I have been going to Dr. Nowicki for almost two years. I thought he was excellent at first- he was very polite, the staff was very nice, and the facility itself was clean. I recently had an encounter that will make me never go back again (nor will my family and friends who I have referred). I get regular cleanings done twice a year (every six months, the usual). I had a cleaning done back in March 2017. A few weeks after that, I was billed for the visit, which was very odd considering I am fully insured, and have never received a bill before. Upon calling the number provided on the document, I spoke to the billing department, who informed me that I received this bill because my cleanings were less than six months apart (I was short about a week- I was not aware of this at all). In no way was I informed by Dr. Nowicki's staff when I called to make the initial appointment that I was not yet due for my cleaning, nor did they inform me when I checked out that any payment was due for the visit. I explained the situation to the representative on the phone, in which she said that a case would be opened and they would contact the dentist office itself to sort the situation out. A few weeks later, I was reached by the representative telling me that the office took responsibility for the incident and I was no longer accountable for paying the bill. Fast forward to six months later- this September- where I was due for my next cleaning. This time, when I called to schedule my appointment, I made sure to ask the woman on the phone specifically when my last appointment was so I could make sure that it was nothing short of six months. Once arriving to the office and getting serviced by the hygienist, Dr. Nowicki steps into the room, greeting me with a smile and handshake as usual. He opens up my chart and I hear him quietly chatting with the hygienist. He then approaches me and asks me what ended up happening about the incident with the bill. I told him what had happened, and his attitude immediately changed. He said, "you know I didn't get paid for that visit. So basically that was a waste of my time". I was so caught off guard by his response. I told him that it was not my fault, and again explained the situation. He responded with, "it's your responsibility, not ours, to know that..." He quickly checked my teeth, and once done, he again states "I don't like that. That was basically a waste of my time". He walks out of the room and I follow him to the front desk. He tells the clerk to "make sure you write a note in her chart to not let her schedule appointments less than 6 months apart, we got ripped off last time" then he walks off without another word. I was so disgusted in this behavior. I have been working in the medical field for over five years and could never imagine speaking to a patient like this. I never take the time to write reviews, but I just wanted this to be out there- be aware- clearly very money-hungry and only for his own ass when it comes down to it. read more

doctor is a moron i went for a filling and ive been in pain for almost a month ! a constant pain where i have to take 3 tylenol every 4 hours or it feels like my head is going to explode. is this normal? i went back for an adjustment and still in a ton of pain! why are all dentist morons? stay away from here! they act nice and seem like they know what there doing but its obvious a filling is to complicated for them. read more
