I followed Dr D when he moved to this office and started seeing Dr. Luthra when Dr. D retired. After she told me she would call me to discuss treatment for the problem I was having she never called. I left several messages for her and she has never returned my calls. When I decided to switch to another dentist, I have never been able to obtain my records. They claim they don't have them despite the fact that I personally brought them when I switched to this office. I've been going to that office for several years. We as a family followed Dr.D. He did implants for me at his first office. So when he retired I went to have an appointment with Dr Bachuri. I only needed to have my teeth cleaned and O Rings changed on my implants. They said I needed X-rays and I told them I didn't want them because I've had cancer and I'm having a PET scan next week. She asked the dentist and he said I needed to have one. I was left in the chair for a longer period of time than they spent with me. I went out to pay my bill and I told them I didn't have any dental insurance. She said my bill was $600.00 I said "You do know that I only had 3 O Rings, cleaning (which are removed from my mouth and handed to them) and an X-ray?" She said "Yes, it is $600.00 " I paid but by the time I got to my car I was so upset that I called and said I wanted to speak to the dentist about my bill. I was told he doesn't speak to patients about their bill, she does that. She said she would be right back. When she came back she told me she could give me $100.00 off. When I went back in I told her that I felt like I had been ripped off. I also said I wanted my X-ray and records because I wasn't coming back. She gave me a paper copy of the X-ray and said they'd email my records. They haven't so far. I feel that I was overcharged and now my husband and daughter won't be going back there either. I have been at this offcie 4 or 5 times and they are OKAY. Not AMAZING, NOT BAD, but OKAY. Staff is friendly and professional but the work is mediocre. They do things without asking or prompting. I needed bonding dong on my two front teeth and I had to go back two times to get it fixed and they are still not done right. And when I tell them that they are too big they are nice about and dont make me feel any certain way, but it has been such an inconvenience to keep coming back to get a very simple procedure done. read more

Instead of just addressing the issue, the female dentist immediately tried to push her into getting a root canal over a cavity. When my mom declined, the dentist got mad and walked out of the room. The dental hygienist finished cementing the crown and then said she'd go get the dentist to double-check that it looked good. While she stepped out, my mom clearly heard the dentist say, "I don't want to see her again." Minutes later, the hygienist came back in and told her, "You're all set." No follow-up. No care. This place doesn't treat patients with respect or dignity--especially not elderly ones. They're only interested in upselling expensive procedures, whether you need them or not. A family member of mine had gone and done her veneers by Dr. Bachuri. He had done then so badly, she wasn't able to floss and her gums ended up getting infected. Her gums were destroyed. She went to 4 other dentists and they didn't know how to treat her. They tried removing one of her teeth and they weren't able to since the veneers were so close together, that they stuck to each other. Later, this led to her having to remove all of her teeth and result in getting dentures. She had lost and wasted a ton of money that ended with her getting dentures as the outcome. read more

I cannot say enough good things about laser family dental. Dr. Bachuri and his staff did the most amazing job of replacing five teeth in a little over 24 hours. I had a wonderful crown replacement and a bridge of four teeth implanted which changes my mouth entirely. It is absolutely fantastic. This dentist is unprofessional and unethical. I asked him to tighten my partial. Instead, he insisted that he needs to fix my tooth which has been fixed six months ago. Despite my insistence that there was nothing wrong with my tooth, he wanted to fix my tooth. In addition, he told me that insurance will cover 60 percent. Then the assistant put some mix on my tooth which took one minute. The mix was all over my teeth. I asked her to remove the mix from my teeth. She could not remove it. I was charged $165. It is unfortunate that there are too many dentists in the Southeast of Michigan and not enough patients. So they try to make the most money of any patient they could get hold of. In two years, I have to change six dentists because everyone suggested a treatment which I know I did not need and quoted an exorbitant price. read more

I highly recommend Laser Family Dental. I went in with a broken crown, and they managed, all in one afternoon, to fix my crown, they gave me a cleaning, did x-rays, fixed 2 cavities and more. I had an appointment scheduled the first after lunch so I wouldn't have to wait long, when I walked in, there were about 8 people just milling around in the office doing nothing, except one of their staff fondling a woman also behind the glass window. I estimate I've seen more than 20 dentists and have visited and evaluated many more. Laser Family Dental is an exceptional facility in many respects. They have the newest and best equipment like 3D x-rays and lasers. The reason I'm writing this review is to get people attention to a very important point! They charged me for something and did something else!!!! Sounds so weird but they did I've been told at the beginning that I'm doing the root canal so the stuff charged me for the root canal and the crown!!!! The doctor told me what he did exactly (to be honest the doctors there are perfect) so I told the stuff cause I got charged already so they should refund me the rest of my money but the the girl at the service desk refused that and persuade me that I'll still need that root canal and crown! After that whenever I called to ask about the refund they even put me on hold or asked me to call laters!!!! Once they answered my with attitude and told me that they don't see anything for me?!
