After I found Keith, he'd take the time to help me with my swing after he was done with my daughter's lesson.

The golf course is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The fairways and greens are in good condition and are well-maintained. Irrigation is good, too. We played during a rain shower and I played so well. No flooding. The undulating greens are super challenging for having short holes. The longest hole would have to be the 15th. The pond is on the right and the trail is above on your left, too. Sometimes I think someone is angry when they're selecting where to place the pins, especially on the third. Who hurt you? LOL Today, it was the third, fifth and the fourteenth. The greens definitely have a lot of character. The fairways are kept, too. The little creeks between the holes are awesome, and the pond between the fourteenth and fifteenth holes always have beautiful swans and ducks in or around them. If you're looking to squeeze in a game so you can relax and have some quiet time, Arroyo Seco is the course where you'll want to be.

I've been wanting to understand golf on a deeper level for a while, and she created such a comfortable and encouraging environment where I could ask questions...even the ones that felt a little silly... Her knowledge of the game is impressive, and she breaks things down in a way that's easy to understand while still being incredibly effective. She gives feedback and practical tips that have genuinely helped me improve and feel more confident in my swing. You can immediately tell that golf is her true passion, and that energy shines through in every bit of direction and encouragement she gives. She celebrates the small wins with you while patiently helping you work through improvement. I always leave each session feeling motivated, accomplished, and excited to keep practicing. Keith teaches up at Scholl Canyon in Glendale and is usually there 5 days a week, sometimes even more when needed. I was originally referred to Coach Keith after my son stopped taking lessons with another golf coach. Coach Keith was referred to me as being a wonderful and patient Junior Golf Coach. Patient and awesome are two words I can describe Keith in short. He also teaches a lot of adults too. Coach K has been such a great golf coach that my family considers him as a good friend now. Business is business but the friendship between my son and I and Keith has grown into a personal one. He's been great and I've seen my son excel in golf so quickly with his wood, iron, short game and putting game. Keith also talks to the kids about their mental game too which is beneficial for junior golfers. In addition to on-range instruction, Coach Keith also does on-course lessons, group outings, summer combines, and other junior and adult activities. If you want to be great at golf, I suggest any new golfer (or seasoned golfer) take golf lessons. I also recommend Coach Keith Morgan for lessons!

I promise you…read more I spent months dutifully going through Golf Digest's top 100 lists, golf resort websites, instagram--and while I'm sure some of those instructors are good, none of them felt right to me. They all seemed to be teaching their swing. For me, I wanted a coach that showed me what my faults were and how to fix those. Keith does that. To me, he is the best version of a modern golf teacher. (If you listen to the podcasts Chasing Scratch or the Sweet Spot, you'll know what I'm talking about) Listen, golf is still hard. And Keith can only instruct you, you'll still need to put in the work. But just anecdotal evidence of how much you should trust him: I was shooting in the mid 90s. And after maybe 5 or 6 lessons. I shot a 78. So yeah... Keith is your guy. Just trust me on this.

My experience has been far better than that... more like taking 10-14 strokes off my score, after only 4 lessons. I "played golf" for decades but had never taken a lesson. I am 75-years-old. I was initially worried that the golf coach would want to correct 50+ things all at once. Larry Salmi, my coach, only focused on a couple of things things each lesson. Their technology for me is really fun and instructive. While I am still not a "par" golfer, I am, for the most part, keeping it on my fairway. A relief to others on the course, and far more fun for me. Before Golftec I think I had only had 1 par in my life. Now I am disappointed when I don't get at least one birdie and a few pars in a round!

My coach was Aaron and he was amazing, He used the golf tec to guide his teaching, but mostly he is a great coach bucause he can points out things about your golf swing behind the numbers. Don't do what I do (skip out lession in my early learning stage, and therefore have to spend the next 5 years UNlearning my swing which had become a habit). Thank you Aaron for being a great coach!

First Impression: I was greeted by a charming young woman who warmly welcomed me, explained how the studio flows, snapped my photo, and set me free to explore. The Class (Kinship Hot - Skyler Burke): Skyler is conversational, playful, and has a unique cueing style. He guides the movement first and then names the pose in English. It kept me very present because I had to actually listen and follow rather than just move straight into the shape. At one point he tossed out movie trivia about how pain makes you feel alive. Naturally, my curiosity sent me down a quick rabbit hole after class, and the idea echoes a theme from Dostoevsky's Notes from Underground, where suffering is closely tied to human awareness and consciousness. (A thought-provoking little moment in the middle of a hot flow - and I have no idea what movie he was referencing.) The flow itself was solid. It built a light sweat that perfectly primed me for breathwork. Meditation & Breathwork (Do NOT skip this): This is where Skyler's inner light really shines. His energy softened, and he created a comfortable, grounded container for the room. We moved through box breathing; extended-exhale breathing; some playful vocal breathwork; and a progressive, controlled breathing technique used by scuba divers to improve breath control. From there, he guided us into meditation using a clever story that gently walked us deep into our inner landscape. Once inside, he invited us to look around, notice who was present with us, and settle into a quiet, healing space. Honestly...it was lovely. My only complaint? It ended too soon. Before I knew it, Skyler was guiding us back and joking with the classic line: You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here. And just like that...container closed. Bottom line: Kinship has serious cool urban sanctuary energy, and Skyler's Breathwork & Meditation alone is worth the visit.
