Nowndale is truly an amazing golf instructor…read more The first lesson alone helped me so much. He explains everything so clearly and is very patient. I love the fact that the lessons are indoor and has cameras so that he can show me and I can see what I need to change and work on. AND there's free parking !! Something I was worried about with getting lessons was not getting my money's worth. Sometimes instructors can be very chatty and I don't feel like I'm getting an actual full hour's worth of a lesson. If that is something you're concerned about, please consider Nowndale! Every time I come in for a lesson, it is jam packed with information and practice time. He really focuses on the lesson and your improvement. I feel very comfortable asking him questions (even if they feel silly) and he'll kindly answer and help me understand. I really have nothing negative to say. I have had 5 lessons and each one has been a very positive experience. I still have a lot to learn, but I can definitely say I have improved a lot since starting lessons.

I had a previous golf coach, but he wasn't great and I started plateauing and did really, really bad. I got frustrated with golf and I didn't know how to fix my mistakes.. and my ex-coach wasn't helping either so I paused lessons with him. Then my friend recommended me his previous coach, so I went to Nowndale and after just ONE lesson, my game started improving right away I was shook!!! After 2 lessons, my form looked so much better and I kept looking forward to seeing Nowndale the next week after. It was the only thing getting me thru the week, the lessons with him. He's so, so good at explaining the mechanics of the golf swing and how to get you to do exactly what you need to do for the perfect swing. I ask so many questions during my lessons and he's so patient with me and answers all of them, and encourages me to point out my own mistakes and explain to him how I could correct them myself. He genuinely wants to see me improve, and even during my practice sessions when I get frustrated and text him, he tells me to send videos of my swings to see what I'm doing wrong to help correct me. I have recommended him to my friends as well and I really really hope he can stays here for the long term because I am for sure not going anywhere and at this point I feel like I NEED his expertise and lessons to get to where I want to be in golf. He's truly a golf pro and everytime I see him swing I have no words

My experience has been far better than that... more like taking 10-14 strokes off my score, after only 4 lessons. I "played golf" for decades but had never taken a lesson. I am 75-years-old. I was initially worried that the golf coach would want to correct 50+ things all at once. Larry Salmi, my coach, only focused on a couple of things things each lesson. Their technology for me is really fun and instructive. While I am still not a "par" golfer, I am, for the most part, keeping it on my fairway. A relief to others on the course, and far more fun for me. Before Golftec I think I had only had 1 par in my life. Now I am disappointed when I don't get at least one birdie and a few pars in a round!

My coach was Aaron and he was amazing, He used the golf tec to guide his teaching, but mostly he is a great coach bucause he can points out things about your golf swing behind the numbers. Don't do what I do (skip out lession in my early learning stage, and therefore have to spend the next 5 years UNlearning my swing which had become a habit). Thank you Aaron for being a great coach!

I've been and avid recreational golfer on and off since my mid 20's (let's just I'm somewhere in my 40's ). I wanted my 9 year old daughter to take up golf but I didn't think I'd be a good coach so I took up the task of looking for a good coach for kids. We went through 4 different coaches before finding Keith. He's so great with kids! He's patient and l appreciate the way he talks to Ella. He has lots of different drills and ways of being able to explain to her what he wants her to execute. Of course it's taken some time but I'm finally seeing some forward progress. I just want her to love the game just as much as me. I highly recommend Keith, especially if you're looking to get your child started in the wonderful game of golf! This next part is for me. As mentioned above, I've been playing golf since my mid 20's. I'm self taught, learning from watching the golf channel, reading magazines and through youtube. At my best I was shooting 93-97 and was constantly frustrated with my game. My best scores were 83 and 85 when I was hitting the range on a more consistent basis. After I found Keith, he'd take the time to help me with my swing after he was done with my daughter's lesson. After working with Keith and really breaking down my swing, working on my bad habits (of which I have plenty) I started to piece it back together again. I was finally getting to a point where I was building a more fundamental and consistent swing. Thanks to Keith, my work has paid off! I shot my LOWEST ROUND EVER!!! I shot a 78!!! It's been my dream to break 80. I can't say thank you enough for helping me get to where I am and for being so kind and patient with my daughter! YOU ROCK!

To start, I can simply say, Keith is the man. His knowledge of the game is unbelievable, and he…read moreknows how to explain the very technical swing techniques in numerous ways (while still be very patient) to make sure you understand what he's trying to make you grasp. My swing and striking has evolved 10 fold in just 4 lessons, and I look forward to continuing lessons to keep on improving. Now with that said - go book a lesson. You won't regret it.

The golf course is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The fairways and greens are in good condition and are well-maintained. Irrigation is good, too. We played during a rain shower and I played so well. No flooding. The undulating greens are super challenging for having short holes. The longest hole would have to be the 15th. The pond is on the right and the trail is above on your left, too. Sometimes I think someone is angry when they're selecting where to place the pins, especially on the third. Who hurt you? LOL Today, it was the third, fifth and the fourteenth. The greens definitely have a lot of character. The fairways are kept, too. The little creeks between the holes are awesome, and the pond between the fourteenth and fifteenth holes always have beautiful swans and ducks in or around them. If you're looking to squeeze in a game so you can relax and have some quiet time, Arroyo Seco is the course where you'll want to be.

Keith teaches up at Scholl Canyon in Glendale and is usually there 5 days a week, sometimes even more when needed. I was originally referred to Coach Keith after my son stopped taking lessons with another golf coach. Coach Keith was referred to me as being a wonderful and patient Junior Golf Coach. Patient and awesome are two words I can describe Keith in short. He also teaches a lot of adults too. Coach K has been such a great golf coach that my family considers him as a good friend now. Business is business but the friendship between my son and I and Keith has grown into a personal one. He's been great and I've seen my son excel in golf so quickly with his wood, iron, short game and putting game. Keith also talks to the kids about their mental game too which is beneficial for junior golfers. In addition to on-range instruction, Coach Keith also does on-course lessons, group outings, summer combines, and other junior and adult activities. If you want to be great at golf, I suggest any new golfer (or seasoned golfer) take golf lessons. I also recommend Coach Keith Morgan for lessons!

They all seemed to be teaching their swing. For me, I wanted a coach that showed me what my faults were and how to fix those. Keith does that. To me, he is the best version of a modern golf teacher. (If you listen to the podcasts Chasing Scratch or the Sweet Spot, you'll know what I'm talking about) Listen, golf is still hard. And Keith can only instruct you, you'll still need to put in the work. But just anecdotal evidence of how much you should trust him: I was shooting in the mid 90s. And after maybe 5 or 6 lessons. I shot a 78. So yeah... Keith is your guy. Just trust me on this.

This happens far too often to be considered coincidence. If the carts are returned to a designated area and handled only by staff, I need a clear explanation of who else has access to them after they are turned in. Just this past Tuesday, I left my Bushnell rangefinder attached to the cart. When I returned later the same day to inquire about it, I was informed that it was already missing. Previously, I have also lost a jacket under similar circumstances. Given that the golf course charges customers and is responsible for cart management, I believe it is reasonable to expect proper safeguards--such as cameras, documented checks, or a clear accountability process--to protect customers' personal property. Repeated losses without explanation reflect poorly on the level of service and responsibility expected from a professional golf facility.

As soon as I walked in to return a few clubs, the employee at the front desk rolled his eyes when he saw that I had multiple returns. That immediately made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. After my return, I started shopping for a new driver. I usually don't need much assistance because I know exactly what I'm looking for, but I needed help finding a specific club. A club specialist named Chris assisted me, but it felt like he wasn't interested in helping. I repeatedly explained that I wanted a brand-new club, yet he kept bringing me used clubs. I also clearly told him I needed a Regular Flex shaft, but he continued showing me Stiff Flex options instead. It felt like he was more interested in selling whatever was available than making sure I got the right club for my swing. Eventually, we found the correct driver head, but it still had the wrong shaft. I simply asked if the shaft could be swapped since it only requires a torque wrench. Instead of helping, Chris sent me back to the front desk and said they could take care of it. When I got to the front, the employee there told me that Chris was actually the one who needed to do it. So I ended up being sent back and forth between two employees, with neither one willing to help. It was incredibly frustrating and a complete waste of my time. I remained polite and respectful throughout the entire visit, but the customer service I received was unacceptable. I drove about 40 minutes through traffic because I was ready to spend money on new Ping clubs, only to leave empty-handed because no one seemed interested in helping me. I took my clubs, walked out, and decided I'd rather shop at another Roger Dunn location where customer service is actually a priority. This was one of the worst experiences I've had at a golf store, and I won't be returning to this location.
