See's used to be my go to chocolate shop, but they use too many artificial ingredients, especially for their prices. The handmade chocolates at Keizer Liquor come from Minnesota (I'd rather support locals), but for taste and gift quality, they are excellent, if pricey. The gift shop has lots of year round and seasonal offerings that will brighten any home. Most items are a little expensive, but they're regularly marked down in post season sales. I'm glad this store is doing well. There's not much that compares in all of nearby Salem.

Just well made beer that actually pairs with the food. The atmosphere is a big plus. The space has good energy, a lot of strong artwork and murals, and feels cultural instead of a corporate knock off like something that isn't authentic.
