Having visited her I found her living quarters to be comfortable and spacious. I then scheduled a tour of the facility with Ms Erica and was impressed with the tour and her knowledge. She answered all my concerns and questions. Unfortunately, I found that all the units have been fully booked. I guess that highlights the fact that they are doing everything right.

First class facility that I will definitely consider as the location is perfect for me. Arbor Lakes area has so many wonderful shopping options and restaurants,, a library, Post Office, etc. It is a high-end facility for those who can afford it.

An Apartment Review of SilverCreek on Main in Maple Grove MN ::…read more The furnaces in the 1 bedroom units are electric whereas the other units have a gas furnace. You are responsible for the electricity used for the furnace. I had Excel Energy come out to my unit and make the necessary corrections to my bill as electric furnaces (during the winter months) is discounted. This was never disclosed to us prior to the lease signing - we were told that All the utilities were included in the monthly rent - NOT True. The Property Manager (Amy) had refused the Excel employee access to the property - so I had him remove his badge and had him enter as my guest. When she found this out - she called Excel "Demanding" my account information - Excel refused as this would be a violation of The "Privacy Act" and a Crime - she was verbally aggressive and thank goodness that Excel recorded their conversation with her. Unbelievable !!! In January I did not receive a "Certificate Of Rent Paid". SCOM was claiming tax exemption) I investigated this with the city and county only to discover that no deed had ever been filed. It was still in the city of MG's name. This was addressed by 3 MN government offices including the Attorney General's Office as SCOM "Refused" to correct the "Intentional Inaccuracy" of my CRP. MG requires ALL rental communities to do background checks - SCOM was aware of this requirement and yet did not do so. This is a community that consists of "Senior Bullies" I personally experienced/endured senior bullying myself. The Intentional - Alienating, Ostracism and Isolating of individuals. Gossiping & Rumors. Bigotry. Discriminatory behaviors and actions toward individuals is displayed by staff (not all) and residents as well. I personally was "Intentionally" skipped over for a garage stahl by the leasing agent numerous times. I Most definitely would "NOT - NOT" advise my Worst of acquaintances to reside here‼ Corporate & Staff (FACTUAL) DID use "Intimidation Tactics" toward Seniors to silence those of us who voiced our concerns with threats of "eviction or termination of our lease agreement/s". SCOM termed it :: "Interferring With The Management Of The Property". I have saved All documentation as support of my statements made here. SCOM Management did NOT like the Fact that I possessed much knowledge about MN Tenant's Rights (Home Line Attorneys) - that because they were 2 months behind in work orders (Fact) - that I/We could go down to the Hennepin County Courthouse - file a complaint and then the County would hold our Rent Checks in an escrow account until the work orders had been completed. In addition :: dog feces have been left in the halls & sidewalks for walkers, wheelchairs, and scooters to role through - A Maple Grove "Health Code Violation"‼To address Christine's comment on YELP about a "Mutually Agreed Upon Resolution" :: NO Such Agreement Exists - I Never signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement‼ Corruption‼

We visited a family member who lives in the nursing home section of Trillium Woods. He started out…read morein the assisted living section, was in the transitional care area, and now the nursing home section. The complex is huge and we have appreciated that he has been able to stay at Trillium Woods as he has aged and his health care needs have increased. We used to eat with him in the restaurant when he was in assisted living. It was like going to an upscale restaurant. It was nothing like "nursing home food." The menu would change and provided the residents with a wonderful selection of options from which to choose. The activities are many and varied. We have appreciated that when the residents go on outings that the staff photographs them and shares them on Facebook. We have enjoyed seeing our loved one at different places, and seeing how happy and engaged he is with other residents and in the community. There is a library for residents and I was happy to see that he uses it regularly. At our visit, he shared that he had just read a book about Robert Frost, the poet, and had a new book about the he sinking of the ocean liner RMS Lusitania that occurred on May 7, 1915, during the First World War. Keeping the residents' minds active and encouraging them to read and continue to learn is impressive and needed! The nursing home section is well-maintained, elegant, and welcoming. There are public seating areas, water with lemon slices in it for guests and residents, a puzzle table, t.v. area, and dining area. When we arrived, the cloth napkins were beautifully folded on the table that had a white linen table cloth on it. This is normal...not the exception. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. They treat everyone with dignity and respect. I could only wish that when the time comes that I need nursing care that I could live in such a beautiful, well-maintained facility with top-notch staff and programming in the arts, music, and outings like Trillium Woods offers.

My family and I have found the staff to be professional, competent, and caring. My wife's condition continues to decline as her disease progresses, and the staff's attentiveness to these changes is impressive. Our family takes comfort in knowing that my wife is comfortable, safe, and well cared for here. We feel that we have made the best decision for her and for us and are grateful for the compassion every member of the staff has shown.

If you just need a roof over your loved one's head, this place will do. But if your loved one requires any level of care, look elsewhere. The management and nurses don't train the staff on how to safely transition residents from a wheelchair to their recliner or bed. I have witnessed countless instances where my father's safety and comfort were compromised during a transfer. The aids do the bare minimum. They will bring my father food and occasionally change his brief but as I've witnessed, their interactions with him are brief and unfriendly. Yelling "move your foot" to a man with no no sensation in his limbs and limited motor control over his legs is ridiculous and hurtful. They employed one aid who was caring, compassionate, and engaged with my father. But she left the facility and now he is left with the aids who are just going through the bare motions to keep their jobs. I am attaching a picture of my father's toothbrush. It is absolutely disgusting and dirty. I found it this weekend and couldn't believe my eyes. I brought it to the aids' attention and they blew me off saying, brushing teeth isn't part of their job and that it was the Night Shift who do that. Deflecting blame and providing insufficient care is the name of the game there. Do NOT place your family there.

My Mother was at Amira for 4 years in the memory care unit. It was bad, and then it got worse…read more Every single time I went to visit, she was wet. Every single time! We even bought flow-through pads to use in addition to the depends, in case she was a "gusher". There were times she was wearing the depends and two flow through pads and was still soaking. FYI, that means she was sitting in 8 cups (1/2 gallon) of urine. I am just a dumb landscaper, but perhaps that explains the multiple UTI's that she had every year. She also had multiple falls (a result of dizziness from the UTI's) and a broken hip and later a broken femur. The best thing Almira ever did for us was kick Mom out, because it forced us to find another place for Mom. She spent the last 4 months at Breck Homes in Bloomington, where they made her feel useful and had so many outings that it was hard to visit her. Pretty is as pretty does, and Amira doesn't! If you are looking at memory care, visit here at meal time. Do these people look like they are enjoying themselves? Does the food look appetizing? Can they even hear each other, if they wanted to talk? Is there room to comfortably move around the tables with a wheelchair or walker? Yes, the fireplace is pretty. Is the room functional? Comfortable? Does the staff chit-chat with the residents, or do they just boss them around? Ask the employees you run into how long they have worked there, and ask if anyone has been there since the opening which is less than 6 years ago. There is only 1 who has been there the whole time, and she is the only one who knows how to get things done. Hint: it is Linda at the front desk. Raona

We would come visit her and she would smell like urine, she would have a dirty depends on for hours. She was barely washed with either a cloth or actual shower. She had 2 falls that didn't make sense, so we bought granny camera's, which were frequently turned off by staff until we told them it was illegal. Some of the staff did the bare minimum to get her ready for the day. She had 2 more falls which the staff was no where to be seen. She layed for 2 hours on the floor until they found her. Just when you think things couldn't get worse, it did. I sent flowers and a teddy bear to her one day and the teddy bear is no where to be found. My grandma contracted the Covid-19 virus here. She has since passed away. Unfortunately her death was not peaceful in any way. This company is absolutely horrible. The management is cowardly and quite literally pathetic. This company should be shut down. Our parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers and all other family deserve so much better. Please think twice before sending your loved ones here. I guarantee you, you will regret it, I do EVERYDAY. I wish she was still alive but at least she is no longer in pain .
