Go to First Watch instead. I was optimistic about Keke's after a Yelp breakfast for dinner event a couple years ago. We tried to come here on a Saturday around 10am and there was a line so we returned Sunday at 7:30am. No line, but we had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated. They may have been waiting on more staff since half the restaurant was empty. Our food was fine but on par with Denny's or Perkins. My potatoes were slightly undercooked and warm at best. Worst part: we came here to use a gift card since we're moving out of the country in three days. Sorry, our machine isn't taking gift cards at this time so just use it next time. We told the manager it only had $10 and she said there was nothing she could do. I found a local couple on our way out and gave it to them. I have read so many reviews about this place from other yelpers, and now I get to experience it for myself, but no one mentioned how packed this place was. One thing I believe in is when a restaurant is consistently packed, that signifies the food is good. Along with other groups of people, I had to wait to be seated, but it wasn't for long. I followed the hostess through the spacious restaurant until he placed me at a small booth table. My server was very pleasant. She approached the table, warmly greeted me, and asked if I would like some orange juice, which I gladly accepted. At the same time, I placed an order for their apple cinnamon french toast. Wow, I was impressed with the presentation. Three thick slices of bread nicely browned with cinnamon-spiced apple filling and dusted with powdered sugar. This dish didn't need any syrup. The flavors from the apples was just enough and it was so ooey-gooey good. The meal was thoroughly enjoyed and I received satisfactory service. We just got off a flight from California and we were staying in Orlando for our vacation. We needed a real meal after a long flight and Keke's was the first spot that came up on my search. Well this was our very first time trying Keke's... some of my family enjoyed it but I didn't as much. The restaurant was extremely busy and pretty loud atmosphere but very family friendly. I ordered the waffles and chicken... the waffles were too doughy for my taste. Now our server was amazing... she was busy but was very attentive. Oh, be careful with the syrup that comes with the waffles. It's spicy... I didn't know that and poured on half of my waffle. They were very attentive to make me another one. 1st time at a Keke. We put our name in at check in by front door. They said 20 minutes at 9:48am. I got notified at 10:11am to come in to see host. We got in, told the host our name, then she went to get names of the other parties that came after us, and then proceed to seat three parties that checked in after us. Not sure how they seat according to check in but we had to stand there and wait another 15 minutes before we actually got seated. Our waitress was Robin, she's very good throughout, except that she rang up the kids grill cheese as regular lunch. So we basically got charged double for the meal. We've already paid by the time I realized we got charged regular grill cheese. I decided to ask her what's the difference in the two so I know what the kids version would have been like. She said she thought I pointed at the regular lunch menu and there's not too much difference, maybe instead of 2 slice of cheese it's one and maybe a little more fries? I said it's fine, she's very busy, we were on our way out anyways so I didn't want to make her have to refund the transaction and do all that. I got the Tuna Fruit Salad, it's soooo worth it. Aside from a few soft and discolored grapes, everything else is pretty fresh. Not sure what the hubby was ordering originally but Robin end up suggesting doing the Build Your Own and just get charge extra for additional sides to save money. He ended up with the pancake with fruits on top ($5 extra) and sausages and eggs ($1.49 extra) with toast ($3.49 extra). The pancake has some crispy parts and those parts are really good and lots of fruits on top. Didn't realized hubby's meal had so many extra cost until after we got home and looked at the receipt closer. My other child got an omelet, he said the potato with it was very good. Overall, we would definitely try Keke again but next time figure out the menu better. We definitely could have had the same amount of food and cost less if we ordered correctly. read more

We joined the waitlist around 11:10 AM and were quoted a 50-minute wait, which ended up being fairly accurate, we were seated shortly after 12. The restaurant itself is pretty average in terms of decor and could definitely use a refresh, both in seating and overall appearance. Upon first impression, cleanliness was lacking in certain areas, which set the tone a bit. Once seated, a busser took our drink orders, and our server came by shortly after to introduce herself and let us know she'd return to take our order. After ordering, the food came out in about 20 minutes, which was reasonable given how busy they were. Portion sizes were generous, definitely more food than we could finish. However, service became inconsistent as we were attended to by multiple staff members, likely due to the rush. We experienced the longest delays waiting for basics like syrup, drink refills, and utensils after the food had already been delivered. As for the food, it was good but fairly average for a breakfast spot. While everything was prepared well, it lacked the standout flavor you'd expect after nearly an hour wait. This place was awful, oatmeal was not hot, my coffee mug had a large chip on the edge of the rim and the mugs were dirty, but my biggest complaint is that they don't offer plant based milk. Nowadays almost every restaurant and food establishment offers some kind of plant based milk whether it be soy, oat or almond milk. Keke's needs to get with the program and the people's needs for plant based milk products, there is a large number of people who are either vegan, have allergies or are lactose intolerant. A great find for breakfast on our recent trip to Orlando. The pregnancy craving for blueberry pancakes with strong and Keke's did not disappoint. We stopped in on a Friday morning around 9 and it was busy, but we didn't have to wait for a table for 2. The restaurant is a standalone in the lot of a strip shopping center with ample private parking. It is a welcoming location, very bright and cheerful decor to start the day! Our server greeted us immediately and took our drink orders. Coffee took quite a while to arrive and my decaf had to be brewed fresh. This was surprising given how packed the place was. I perused the menu online while we waited (and the yelp photos) to help me decide. The menu is extensive but I opted for blueberry pancakes and added a side of fresh fruit. The pancakes were gigantic! I wish I could have eaten every bite - they were so light and fluffy. Fruit was a good portion and very fresh. Hubby chose the classic French toast, which was a good portion but looked very dry. It took awhile for them to take our order and it also took awhile for the food to come out. I think what happened was we had a waitress whose shift ended during our visit and we couldn't find anyone to flag down to pay the bill either. The food itself was ok but nothing super special. The waffle was fine. The cheesy grits didn't taste too much different than regular grits. I did use some salt. I thought the bacon was cooked nicely but the bacon itself was incredibly salty. It was hard to eat all the bacon. My husband subbed fries for a side salad but it was an extra $5! It didn't seem worth it. read more

Maria was our server and she was great. The only thing I didn't like about this restaurant, they don't have a huge selection on coffee. They only have American hot coffee and ice coffee. The food was great. I ordered a cheese and egg sandwich. My twin sister order an omelet that you can create on your own and it was very good. I would choose the omelet next time. As soon as you go to this restaurant there is a wait time if you arrive on the weekends. When I got to the restaurant there was a 30 min wait time. I recommend to wait inside because there is seating inside as well. I ordered the make it yourself Omelet and the Florida Waffle. The omelet comes with your choice of toast and with your choice of grits or potatoes. I ordered the raisin toast and potatoes. Everything I ate was super delicious with a big quantity. Maria B was my server and she was very sweet and super attentive. For drinks I ordered an iced coffee but I was not pleased with it. The only two options are either regular coffee or iced and both you will need to make it yourself. I would think there should be cappuccinos and other flavor coffee. We had to ordered the Florida pancakes and everything else we ordered was great...we weee happy with our food. As busy as they were yesterday morning, food came out in a timely manner. Very welcoming staff. We got seated quicker than the estimate from both the automated system and the greeter. Very little pressure to order quickly -- they gave us plenty of time to think. When I ordered a the FL Pancakes and added the options side, the server warned me it was a lot of food. My mistake for not believing her! The pancakes are enormous! I was still happy I got eggs and bacon to make it feel like a more well-rounded meal -- ha! But beware that the serving sizes are ample. The pancakes were still hot 15 minutes into eating them -- steamy and delicious. The outer rim had a nice slight crunch to it. The fruit was plentiful and sweet -- especially the strawberries. My whole family ate until uncomfortable and we still had plenty to fill up a large TO GO box. Oh and their coffee, as advertised, was very good for this type of establishment. It wasn't burnt, bitter or nasty at all. Very pleasant and they let me swap to iced coffee mid-meal. The room was pleasantly air conditioned on a hot day with about half their fans running to also move air around. A few more may have been nice but overall it was quite comfortable. I came in alone for breakfast because I needed a quiet place to eat and work on an assignment for my master's program. The restaurant had just opened and it was still early, so it was mostly empty. Even so, the host seated me at the smallest table with almost no space for my laptop, and there was no outlet nearby. When the server came over, I explained the situation. He said there were no outlets, and I assumed he was going to move me to a larger table. Instead, he put the menu back in its slot and walked away without taking my order or offering any help.
